"We just spent 7 days at the crystal hotel an it was brilliant. The rooms are cleaned daily and beds changed and made ( we had ours done twice in a day once) they even organised the toiletries.
Its definitly not a hotel for people with walking difficulties due to the stairs. The lift worked and yes the staff did use it but u cant expect them to use the stairs with barrels of beer.
The sunbeds were cleaned every evening.
There was entertainment every night which was all brilliant and the animation team were AMAZING!!!!
They run a little train ride to the beach where there is a bar that is covered by the all inclusive.
The kids club runs in the mornin and afternoon and my 6 year old really enjoyed it.
Great choice of food every day, with omlettes being cooked fresh for breakfast.
Staff were brilliant- was late for breakfast once and they made us a breakfast after they had cleaned up.
We would go back tomorrow if we could."

"Arrived late was greeted and bags were left, we were then told to go get a drink and a meal all seemed great, however dining area was a mess, food was poor, taken to room and found no balcony view only of a bush smelled of damp was advertised as 5 star, hotel claimed it was 4 star, have stayed in better 2 stars, rooms very basic and could be a lot cleaner. To many younger guests who clearly were using the hotel disco, making lots of noise all night long so only chance to sleep was when sunbathing during the day, hotel seemed worn out compared to pictures on brouchere. Staff were friendly but turned a blind eye to the numerous complaints made by guests, strong smell of sewage at certain points in hotel, private beach very dirty witnessed condomd, sanitary towels and other waste floating in water, all inclusive drinks very restricted to few choices. Only holiday I was glad to get home from and has put us off ever going back to turkey again, would advise to avoid at all costs"

"First room was mouldy and dirty, saw Manager was moved to better room. Food first sittings are cold so go a bit later. Waiters and Bar Staff wonderful people made the holiday.

This Hotel is no good if disabled or cannot climb hills, lovely setting but access quite hard. Entertainment was rubbish.

Tractor train to beach, not what I expected but was ok.

Just one very important thing don't book any excursion, robbed at Turkish Bath, all trips a rip off we payed £30 each for the turkish night what a joke all inclusive, drinks watered down the salads were passable, but main meal was cold speghetti and a bernard mathews turkey breadcrumbed fillet (reformed meat) yuk was horrible. The entertainment was quite good, but the cockroches stole the evening.

Suppose you only get what you pay for"

"Very disappointed with the hotel, Hotel stated that it was family orientated and there was no children's entertainment at all, Parents had to ask for a mini disco for the kids, the staff that were responsible for the entertainment were more concerned with flirting and chatting up young girls that were staying at hotel with their parents !!!!! Food was eatable i guess but for being all inclusive there was a lack of snacks and variety for all who stayed at hotel. Rooms were very basic, shower cubicle leaked . when reported was not fixed, several guests suffered from bed bug bites, and were not talking a few . more like hundreds as we saw the aftermath of the attack, we were fortunate and did not suffer the same attack, Food was generally cold as was put out 30 Min's before the doors opened for the guests, so many guests complained that the area manager appeared at the hotel, the restaurant staff did the best they could given circumstances and were always very pleasant and friendly to myself and partner and daughter, we paid the most out of all the guests that were their for the week we had their, we will not be going back to this hotel and feel that we were ripped off. The only bonus was we made friends when away "

"We just came back from 2wks all in at this hotel (4 adults 4 children 6-11yrs). Having been to Turkey last year 5* all in and have a great time we were unsure what to expect. First thing we thought OH know were the hell are we... after getting to are room which was clean and of a good size, a bit disapointed with the pool slide and two smaller pools rather than a large one...although as the time went on this turned out much better for us. Its not a hotel for older people or people who having wlkaing problems ..yes there is a lift although it doesn`t reach every floor. Anyway Food was great plenty of choice and all fresh. Of course you get flies but the doors are open and it`s warm so what would you expect. Night life...hmmm not much to say we stayed up for kids club dancing then went to bed because apart from the Turkish night its not worth watching.. Staff VERY helpfull we arrived late and they had food and drinks ready for us evev though dinner time was finished. We would go again but look at somewere else fist only because we want a closer beach...and there well you carn`t call it a beach really.
Overall we said good food, clean room and sun the rest it is what you make it..."

"Just come back from staying at this resort and it was amazing! We did all inclusive and it was well worth it. The food was just so delicious with so much variety. I am a vegetarian so I was a bit worried, but it didn't let me down. Every night was different. You've got to try the soups - very tasty and different.
Sitting in the terrace looking at the sunset was just priceless. The views were amazing but do ask for sea view room when you book.
Shopping is a bit stressful but worth it in the end and you must haggle with them because they will call you back with your price.
Can't wait to go again!!

"What a wkd time we had at this hotel. It far exceeded our expectations after reading all the other reviews.
It caters very well for families and there is lots to do for the kids.
The food was brilliant even for the vegtarians - if people moan about the food it's probably cos they weren't getting their pie & chips!!!!! If you go abroad then expect to relish their culture & food. We were so glad we booked this resort instead of CHAVVY Gumbet. After spending 1 day in Gumbet with the chavs & the boom boom boom of bars & karaoke, this place was like heaven.
The beautiful scenery & the amazing sunset were amazing. To wake up to that every morning was bliss.
The staff were all very helpful & freindly & the animation team were great with the kids & provided great entertainment for all ages all day long.
If you want a relaxing holiday without all the hustle & bustle of thinking you are in Blackpool then this is the place to be.
Would definitely book again!"

"We have just returned from one of the cheapest holidays we have ever had. No, it was not the best, but you get what you pay for. And it was certainly good value for money!
The rooms were basic, but ours was quite adequate, with the bonus of a fridge and english speaking channels on the TV, albeit American.
The transfer was long, but you cannot blame the hotel for that. The night flights are reflected in the price. If you want day flights, I suggest you pay for them.
Yes the hotel was on a hillside, but the views were the best I have seen from ordinary hotels. The bay is listed in National Geographic's top ten places to see the sunset.
Food. Could often have been hotter, but there was always something for people to eat.
Staff, by and large, were helpful and pleasant. The main problem was guests. The turkish guests usually treated the staff as second class citizens. Some British guests were rowdy and created a nuisance up to three o'clock in the morning. Unfortunately, the management did not tell them to be quiet. Also the british guests just threw cups into the gardens.

There are many negative reviews of this hotel, and it is not 5 star. But neither is the price. If that is the standard you want, I suggest you pay at least twice as much for your holiday. As I said, it IS good value for money"
