"Myself and a few friends had a wonderful and relaxing time here. The facilities were great and only a short distance form the beach (the shuttle bus is free and goes every half hour). The apartment was spacious clean and had everything you should require, even a BBQ! The resort is 20 mins from the airport and about 30mins from Bodrum (by bus).
The customer service was outstanding. I'd definitely reccommend this place to family and friends."

Loved it - Defo. going back!
"We stayed in Flamingo Country Club in August 2009. We flew into Bodrum airport and Flamingo County Club was only about 30 minutes drive - bonus with children! When we arrived, we were greeted at the entrance by security with information about the resort and bus timetables. They were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment near the clubhouse, so we didnt have the views of the sea every morning but we had a swimming pool outside our door and easy access to all the amenities, which for children - proved excellent for us. The kids loved the basketball, tennis, playground and games room by the bar. The food in the restaurant was lovely and if you wanted to eat somewhere else there are a few other lovely restaurants in the area within 20 mins walking distance. Mind you getting up to the exit was sometimes tough pushing a buggy but we got on with it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, couldnt do enough for us, and we found that the other holiday makers were very friendly and inviting too. . . .we met lots of lovely ppl. You can get the dolmus at the entrance all the way into bodrum, and in august temperatures it aint easy to be squeezed into a small bus with many people and children, prob better to have a car for a few days and do some shopping in the local Tesco - Kipa. Our apartment was lovely, kitchen had washing machine and cooking facilities, we had tv, dvd and satellite, air con in all rooms and mossie nets on windows and doors so had a lovely breeze because it on a hill. We also had 2 balconies which was a bonus so we could follow the sun out front in morn and out back in the evening or we had the option of using the private roof terrace. we loved the privacy, the complex has about 25 swimming pools so we had plenty of privacy and comfort and if we wanted to meet others we could go to the clubhouse pool. Overall it was a really enjoyable holiday, and we are planning to go back again in 2010 - cant wait!!!"

Stunning views; very comfortable & peaceful
"I stayed with a group of friends in one of the apartments overlooking the sea. It had a HUGE balcony which meant we lazed around alot for lunch and pre-dinner drinks etc. It was very quiet in the resort, not too many visitors which was fine with us as we headed into Bodrum town (30min bus journey) a few evenings for hopping nightlife. Other than that we hung out by the clubhouse or on the balcony. There was enough to do in terms of activities in the resort; tennis, basketball, gym, golf etc but we didn't use these much. Not close to any beach that we could see but that didn't bother us cos we had our own pool. Took a few days trips - boats up the coast and one day to Epheseus which was stunning. I would try and get provisions in advance as all these resorts overcharge in the local shop. Overall, very relaxing holiday in a clean, well-stocked apartment with lovely scenery!"

Well worth a visit. I'll be back!
"Flamingo is a large apartment complex about 30 scenic minutes from Bodrum. Very scenic location itself built on a hill with fabulous views over Tuzla Lake on one side and fabulous sea views over the islands and bays at the top. I stayed in a well-appointed apartment at the top of the complex and spent a wonderful two weeks enjoying fantastic sunsets from the balcony. The complex is fully self-contained with excellent facilities, Bar, restaurant, laundry, shop, indoor and outdoor sports and swimming facilities. There is a swimming pool shared between blocks but, because this is a new development, I practically had the pool to myself most of the time.
The staff are very friendly an helpful, however there is still work to be done on the landscaping. The downside to Flamingo is that there is no beach to speak of although efforts were made to create a man-made beach some time ago. Lack of a beach didn't bother me as I spent most of my by the pool.
Good golf course nearby. 15 minutes from the airport.
All in all a very pleasant and quiet holiday. I am looking forward to returning in the future."

Flamingo Country Club - great for a peaceful sunny holiday
"This resort is quite a way out of Bodrum so perfect if you want peace and quiet but a nightmare if you want nightclubs and bars. Its about 30 minutes drive from Bodrum and then 8km on a road which has many craters, probably not helped by the water tankers ferrying water continuously up to the area. Flamingo is lovely but is still unfinished. About two thirds of the apartments are unoccupied and unfurnished but this means very little noise and swimming pools to yourself. Only one restaurant in walking distance, besides the clubhouse, which is reasonable but at times understaffed. The cable car to the beach is not yet operational but it is possible to drive down to a public beach but on a very steep road not for the faint hearted and only the fittest could walk it. The courtesy bus is the public transport dolmus. We had a very nice holiday there but without a car it would be very restrictive. Built on a steep hillside, if you have mobility problems not the place for you. lots of steps or steep roads, great for getting fit. The positives are, friendly locals, peace and quiet, beautiful pools, often no-one else in them, pleasant modern apartments though not all with tv. Tennis courts, basketball court, small golf course. Great view inland, only the very top apartments can see the sea. The gardens are coming on with plenty of shrubs newly planted. Close to the airport but no aircraft noise. The management company try to organise entertainment - barbeque once a week with belly-dancer and Turkish dancers, were planning an outdoor movie but still painting a screen when we left. Negatives, not much to do unless you have transport, steep hillside, no sea view, access road from highway in poor condition, lots of building work going on on the other side of the hill, lots of seemingly wild dogs outside the grounds. The tour companies seem to operate from Bodrum and would not be able to pick you up at Flamingo which can mean a very early start."
