Susesi Luxury Resort

"I went here on a work conference last year. I did not like Turkey at all! Was very boring and very poor looking, If I was to ever go back to Turkey I would most definitely avoid the Antalya areas! The hotel.... Was very clean and tidy and very spacious, the staff however were a bit ... too friendly. There was a lot of food, however this didnt seem to vary in choice to be honest, was almost the same every day! and another thig was that this hotel was supposed to be a 5* but somehow the hotel managed to leak from a storm on our last night, right to the bottom floor! and this blocked off the shop, so if you needed anything you had to go and try to find a shop. the bedrooms were very big and I did liked the space. The bathroom was almost as big which was lovely, and we even had a balcony, some of the balcony views were not very nice, but is nice to sit out in the sun. So really, I was not impressed overall. Mainly the food, the staff, the location, and the structure of the buiding really let this down seeing as i was only there for 3 nights. But the rooms, the facilities were excellent. I would most certainly not go here again."

Mixed feeling about SuSeSI
"Lush, yet empty of content with rude from desk staff.
We are a family with 3 kids who like the all inclusive concept especially when it comes to traveling with kids who always want something which is not on the menu at different time of day (or evening). We arrived to the sold out hotel at 9am and were told to have breakfast, and enjoy ourselves on the hotel premise as the room will not be ready until 2pm...and we did. At 2pm, the check-in time was pushed to 2:30, then to 3, 3:30 and we finally received the room at 4 ! Keep in mind that 3 young kids were not happy at this point. I would like to say a word about the front desk staff requirement - English is not mandatory on their resume...every time I had to talk to someone about anything as complex as wake up time, or a problem in the room, I got blank looks which followed, by "I will be back soon" and then they VANISHED. This is standard procedure at the all famous Su Se Si. Again, very nice hotel, but the inside did not work well. Food was plentiful, but the quality was medium at best. Bars (in all locations) were great ! The room (Family Triplex) was very large and very well equipped.
Night time was lame :-( at both the indoor and outdoor locations.
To sum things up - the hotel was nice, but for the price paid, one would expect more. a lot more. This is not a place we will go to again."

Su SESI Resort = perfect location for summer vacation
"I will start from the very beginning of this vacation....meanning with the arrangements.
I called my travel agent in Bucharest and I ask for a booking in the period 1st - 10th of August 2008 for 7 nights package for the resort Gloria Golf. I read a lot of good reviews here about it and like this I decided to take it.
The travel agent told me that the hotel is OK and they have places with leaving on the 3rd of August. In 1 hour she called me back telling me that I have a problem as the charter is fully booked. The next charter was on the 6th of August but no places in Gloria Golf.....So I find miself looking for other resorts.....Finnaly after checkings and checkings and checking I ask the travel agent to provide me a list of resorts where there are places available.... One of them was Su Sesi. I look for reviews ..... not too many ........... I saw that the hotel was new build (thing that is visible once you see it) and I decided to go for it.
The package that my travel agent took was from Tez Tour Operator. They are russians with a subsidiarry in Romania. They are excelent from the all points of view. Serious, prompt and very professionals.
The charter left with 1.5 hour delay from Bucharest Otopeni Airport. It was an Atlas Jet Charter, Boing 757. Great service on the bord and very pleasant flight.
Arriving in Antalya Airport, Tez Tour Representative guide us to the bus. We wait around 10 minutes that all the people to be on board and we start driving towards the hotels.
We was at the second stop.
The trip from the airport to the resort took us like 20 minutes driving.........
Antalya/Belek looks not so develop .... is tipical arab countries style .....we were a little beat scared about the region......but once you enter in any resort in Belek.....you will forget all about you see outside....is different world.........
When we arrived, from the entry the hotel looks a little to futurist...we were a little scared but once you are inside, the things are changing...........
At the reception, we were wellcome with nuts and turkish sweets and in 10 minutes we got our room.
We ask specifically for French bad, but the hotel has more rooms with tween beds than french ones. In any case the single bad can accomodate 2 persons very very very easy........The house keeping arrange immediately the 2 bads into a HUGE single one and from this all starts to be excelent.
The room is amazing: nice view, clean carpet, great modern furniture, LCD Samsung of 81cm. The bath is big and well equiped, clean and well orgaized. Marble is all over.......You can see by the quality of the finishings that the owners really took care about all the details .... and I refere here to small details ..............
The room is very big ......... we had standard de-luxe room with sea view........
What I can tell you is that from the romm I saw the sea only few times.....most of the time we spent on the sea :-) so really sea or not sea view is OK in any case.
The room has a nice enough big balcony where you can spend the afternoons and late evenings.
The resort in ot one of the biggest in the area but is excelent:
- it has very nice pools: 3 of them with a deep of 1.4m and 1 for kids fo 60 cm deep.
- the whater in the pool is very clean and the main pool that has flower geometry has a lot of small islands with palm trees and other nice plants
- the other 2 pools are rectangulars and are used during the day for animation and whater games organized by the animation team.
- the gardens are excelent and is very hard to find a mistake in design.
Now about the sea.....the sand is not like in the brazilian beaches. The sand is dark brown not very thin. Do not get me wrong....is a regular sand..........
I am not a good swimer and that's why I used most of the time the pools.
What is amazing by the sea is the ponton that is built on top of it. Is a huge nice wood ponton with places where you can lay and spend the evenings listening to the sea or during the day to have a relaxation masage (is around 40Euro for 1 hour session).
During the evening this ponton becomes the most romantic place in the resort...is lighted and if you catch also a night with full moon........this is the place to make your partner shaking.........
Every evening you can listen to life music on the SuSesi Arena and have a drink and enjoy the sea brize. SuSesi Arena is close to the sea.
The resort has Wather Park which has most common types of falls...is not the biggest I saw in my life but is fairly big and you can enjoy with kids from 3 years to 30 years :-)
On the beach you can find the corner with sea sports like: parasailing, wind surfing, catamaran, jet sky, etc........this are extras and have fair prices.........
Turkish are amazing in this....Every evening the food has different specific: Italian, mexican, latino, chineze/Japanese, international, turkish............
Every day you can eat excelent food not related to the evening style...........
There are 9 a la carte restaurants but you have to be 9:00am at the Guest Desk to book for one of it: Italian, Chinese, Turkish, Mexican, etc.........
If you are lazy, in any case you can wait the next day as you will have in the main restaurant the specific food you want ............ I didn't boughter with this a la carte.............in vacation I like to wake up late...........
Swets, fruits, soupes, salads, main courses....all EXCELENT. You can not get any complain......
Or not.....a compain...they respect strictly the hours of lunch and dinners...........8:30pm to 9:30 pm for dinner..........at 9:25pm they start already to clean up the bufets.........
The nice thing is that in the pool area, there is a food corner that starts to operate at 12:00pm.......
There you can have a snack like turkish kebab, fruits, corn and swits until 5pm. Look at the menu in front of the food corner and you will see at what hour they are serving what.......
There is also in the garden a turkish traditional restaurant that prepare in front of you a kind of amazing burekas...........the one with cheese is amazing ............ do not miss it
All in one.........me and my wife we looked for a relaxing vacation and we got it as we wanted...........
I will return here definetively........
And if you have to chose between any resort that you are not sure about and this one........GO for SUSESI..........."

"We are a family of 3 with a 15 year old son. We stayed here from the 4/8/08 for 7 nights. We arrived at the hotel at aprox 4.30am and first impressions on entering were WOW. This is a huge hotel, we were quickly checked in and taken to our room as soon as we were in our room it was apparent the sofa bed for my son was going to be a bit uncomfortable so we asked for another bed within 5 mins the z bed was there and made up for him. The rooms are a really good size and the addition of a zbed made no real difference at all bathroom is also a good size and really well finished in marble. The mini bar in the room is stocked daily with 2 bottle water, 2mineral water, 2 Pepsi, 2 orange, 2 peach and a bag of Doritos. The TV is huge by hotel standards 32inch LCD with about 4 English channels channel 35 has English movies.
The food at the hotel is lovely with a good choice and well prepared. The breakfast buffet has plenty of cereals, yoghurts, bread and eggs if your not to keen on the continental stuff of which there is a huge choice from croissants to meat soup? The buffet restaurants tend to get really busy but there is never any problem finding a table. I would recommend that if your happy with a smaller choice you try the late breakfast as once we had discovered it we used it every day it is between 10 and 11 and in the aqua bistro never has many people in an you can get a table outside. We never used the buffet at lunchtime preferred to eat in the takatuka cafe outside as had a good choice of food and was really nice. There is a good choice of snacks throughout the day from various locations. The evening buffet had a different theme every night i.e. fish, Italian and Mexican there is a large choice and all really well presented and fresh. An alternative to the evening buffet was the al acarte restaurants these are booked on the morning you wish to eat , it is best to get there 30 mins early to reserve a table this is done at guest relations opposite main reception. The food and service at these is top notch and the experience is a lot more relaxing than the hustle and bustle of the main buffet. The aqua bistro opens at midnight for more food if you can manage it and this stays open until 6am. Drinks are served throughout the hotel and grounds and you are never far away from a bar, when you are at the pools or beach or sitting around the hotel the bar staff are always wandering around waiting to be of service. The pools are fantastic and never seem to be busy there is a large freeform pool that if you follow it to its furthest point it comes to a set of steps with the water running down walk up these and follow the river round to the lakeside houses with the Jacuzzi pools. The other pool is a large rectangle with a smaller activity pool at the end where water polo and volley ball take place throughout the day. There are plenty of activities going on during the day and the animation team arenât too pushy to try and get you involved. One day our son had got his shoulders burnt so we decided to give the indoor pool a try and this turned out to be a great alternative as for most of the day there wasnât anybody else in there and there is a door to outside where there is a sunbathing area with a small pool and about a dozen loungers, the pool is accessed through the aqua bistro which is also the entrance to the gym which is well stocked and never very busy. From the indoor pool you also have an entrance to the spa with Turkish bath sauna and a variety of treatment rooms.
The night time entertainment consisted of two shows one indoors in their purpose built theatre at 9.30 and the other outside at 10.30. We travelled with Thomas cook an our flight on the day of departure was at 1.30 am and room checkout is 12.00
you can order a late checkout room but there was none available on the day as hotel was 100% booked but this turned out to be no problem as we put our luggage into storage behind reception (then spent the day at the pool as even though you have checked out all the all inclusive facilities are still available until you leave the hotel.)at about 6pm we went to reception got our cases took out our evening clothes then went to the spar to get showered and freshened up the went for our evening meal which we had booked in one of the alacarte restaurants had a couple of drinks until we were picked up for the airport at 10.30 so all in all didnât really need to have a late checkout room.
So summarize if you have booked to go here or are undecided donât worry just go and have a fantastic time as we have done I canât give it a better recommendation than we are now looking to book for next year only this time for 14 days."

"I can especially recommend the food and the shows. The pool/beach areas are a good as I've seen and the small waterpark kept my duaghter amused for hours.
The staff were always very polite and courteous.
ADVICE: If you are staying for two weeks, take extra clothes with you that are a size bigger. With the quantity and quality of food on offer you will put on a bit of weight I'm afraid"

"Stayed at the Susesi De Luxe Resort & Spa from 1st June to 15th June 2008.
Live in Crawley West Susex
Had a fantastic time. Hotel was excellent, clean, friendly. Staff very courteous.
Enjoyed every aspect of the hotel, it had something for everyone. You had no problem at any time of the day finding a sun bed, as there were absolutely loads.
The entertainment staff were great, tried to involve you in everything and we even found ourselves joining in the Susesi dance on a daily basis.
Can recommend this hotel to anyone, you will have a great time.
It was our first visit to Turkey and I don't think anything can top this hotel, will return to it again."

WOW WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!!!!!!
"We have just returned from a week at the susesi, this was our first visit to turkey and what a experience.
Hotel- This is a very large complex and there is a fantastic pool area. There are hundreds of sunbeds and no matter what time you go down to the pool you will never struggle to get one.The hotel also provides a complimentry pool towel service so you don't need to take your own.Around the pools and the beach are what i can only describe as summer houses with mattresses and cushions to keep you out of the sun if you wish although we never used one, these did seem very popular. There is also a great aquapark on the complex which was open from 10 till 12 and again from 2 till 4 and the slide sized varied from the plug hole to more sedate slides depending how daring you are. The beach is not great here as it is a grey/brown colour and is quite coarse sand but there is a lovely jetty that leads from the hotel out to sea and has ample matresses on it if you want to get a good tan. There is also activities in the pool if you wish to join in like water polo and pool games but you are never harrassed to join in if you don't want to.There is also a seperate kids pool, kids club and kids playground if you need it.
Rooms- The rooms are very spacious and modern decorated in beiges and pale blue, all mod cons including flat screen tv and huge queen sized beds. The mini bar is included in the all inclusive package and is re-stocked daily. The bathrooms in this hotel are good and because the hotel is new there is no sign of any wear and tear yet.
Food- Well what can i say,the food here is fantastic. The main buffet is huge and there is so much choice. As the majority of the guests in the hotel are russian and ukranian there are a few things you may not eat yourselves for breakfast like olives and salads, but there is also eggs in many varieties and there is also the good old toaster and plenty of cereals if you fancy them.
We had 3 fantastic meals in the steak restaurant-you must have the rock shrimp for starter as they are too die for.We also had a great meal in the chinese restaurant and a lovely meal in the italian. You can visit the restaurants as often as you like during your stay and make the reservation on the morning you want to visit from guest relations.I think that there were more restaurants but we never got time to visit any more we were only there for a week. There is also a snack bar near to the pool which is open from 1230 till 1630 this serves sandwiches, kebabs, burgers and salad. There is also a Carte D'or ice cream parlour which is open for 4 hours a day and this is also included in the all inclusive package.Around the pool area is 3 bars and we found you never had to wait very long to get served and most of the drinks seemed to be branded. There is also many other bars in the complex and loads of sitting areas for you to sit around at night.
Entertainment- At the Susesi they have their own outside stage which played host to the nightly entertainment whilst we were there this included Miss Susesi,Russian acrobat circus,Live bands and a Hip Hop dance act which were all really good. There is also a kids disco nightly although we never saw where that was. There is a fantastic spa which has all the normal treatments and massages available if you want them and a modern fully equipped gym, sauna and of course Turkish bath. The hotel has a games room complete with bowling alley which you have to pay for, this IS NOT included and is quite expensive it worked out to be about £5 per person per game. The main currency in the hotels shops was euros although they did accept turkish lira or dollars if thats what you wanted to pay in.We took at taxi from outside the hotel into Belek town this only took about 5 minutes and found that there was loads of shops there. Most of the shops in Belek seem to sell designer fake goods these included:Football shirts,Sunglasses,Handbags,Shoes and Watches but be careful because they are quites strict with the baggage allowance at Antalaya Airport so if you think you might be splashing out on lots of stuff you might be as well to pay for the extra luggage allowance before you go.
All in all this was a fantastic 5 star hotel that catered for every age group,i would certainly recommend going here to everyone i really can't think of any negatives about the place. It is clean, the staff are brilliant especially with children and the service, food and facilities are all first class."

Conference at susesi
"I stayed here fo a conference with my work 28th november for 3 nights. Whole hotel was booked out to my company so cant really say what clientele is like.
Stayed in a standard twin room, which was really big and bathroom good size too. Balcony quite small but adequate although I overlooked a building site beware there is a lot of construction going on in this area at the moment.
Hotel is massive got lost often there seems to be several wings to the hotel and also a few out buildings as well housing the various room types available.
There are a good amount of restaurants although we only got to eat in the main buffet restaurant which had the biggest selection I have seen in a hotel in Europe. All of very good quality there was even a diet section which strangely was right beside the desert section. Drinks were of good standard.
I think we may have been first guests or one of the first guests there so beach was a bit of mess looks like will be a man made beach or they are at least puttin more sand down as was a giant pile of sand. Or could have been the weather which made the beach look messy.
Plenty of good size rooms for the entertainment to be held dont know where this would be (company organised our entertainment).
there is a night club, aqua park & bowling also in hotel although again did not really get to investigate these.
Hotel seemed to be a bit away from the small resort centre probably was walking distance.
Overally would defo go back to this hotel with my family for a chill out holiday at a hotel. DIdnt seem to be much in belek itself.
If you are wanting a night out go to the Adam&Eve hotel's night club for a erm.. strange experience."
