"Just arrived back after a two week break, and I am already missing the hotel! The entertainment team are brilliant, with brilliant shows, such as Mama Mia and Lion King. Eduardo (chief entertainment officer) and his team are awesome, and we came to know them by the time we left. Infact, my three year old son fell madly in love with Anya, a blonde young lady on the entertainment team!
As for the hotel, brilliant. Good size rooms, very clean, and fabulous staff. The food is very good, but can get repetative, but still lots to choose from. I would recomend the restaurants, inparticular the Italian. This carries a eight euro surcharge, but well worth it. Also Chinese, Japanese, BBQ and Turkish restaurants to choose from.
Excellent hotel for families and couples alike, with three pools to choose from, as well as water slides!
I can't speak highly enough about Arcadia and its staff, and it should be even better next year as it is closing down soon for five weeks for a refurb!
I can't wait for next year, and would go there year after year."

"ive just arrived back from the Arcadia golf after a two week stay. I would recommed this hotel as it offers an all round good experience of an all inclusive 4/5* hotel with plenty to do for all ages. The food is a bit repetitive and some of the a la carte restaurants cost 8 euros each(but well worth it)but there is a good selection of meat, fish, fruit etc.The entertaiment programme is fantastic with three activities running most hours during the day and loads to do in the evenings with two spacial themed nights per week. No problem getting a sunbed by the pool or beach at anytime of the day.
The only problem we found was getting served drinks at the restaurants and it was only after tipping you get served properly.
would go back again"

Nice Hotel, Caters fro German/Russians
"Very nice hotel and facilities - not much on at the end of season. Would be a different experience in the summer.
Staff not very friendly and not quick to serve. Drinks watered down and not very nice. No information anywhere about what drinks were available all inclusive - if you asked for something they would just say it was extra.
Entertainment very limited at this time of the year - ie few hours in afternoon for archery, darts (same every day). An hours entertainment at night which was repeated in different languages.
Food the same every day and catering for German/Turkish/Russians - very difficult to get something you like although there was plenty.
Chinese Restaurant and Italian Restaurant (5 Euros a head extra) was open. Chinese main meal was disgusting. Italian meal was ok. Meals just cooked in hotel and brought across.
No place to really walk outside the hotel. You could walk to Belek which was all your usual tourist places - Saturday market which would be good if you were looking for fake goods. Not many places to eat as all the hotels all inclusive.
In the summer it would be good for kids with all the pools open and slides. Lots of space.
I wouldn't return to Belek or this hotel."

"This was my first time visit to Arcadia with my daughter of 11 years.
We went during the oct half term holidays.
The hotel was very clean, staff very pleasant and helpful.
Always able to get a lounger by the pool, and didn't have to launch a stealth manoeuver at dawn to outwit the German visitors to get one.
Food was excellent, with pleanty of choice for all tastes.
Highlight was the animation team, Melissa, Eduardo, Jacko, excellent shows, imaginative and funny shows were amazing, guys were full of energy and involved the audience well.
You really don't have to leave the resort, and you can eat pretty much all day.
Getting to know a barman will stand you in well for service when its busy!
Outdoor pools cold in the later season as we found, and indoor one too small to cope with too many people.
I recommend renting a pavillion on the beach for 40 euro's for some unashamed luxury service.
Will definitely return to Arcadia."

great hotel, but ......
"We have just returned home from the Arcadia and all in all, it was a fantastic holiday. The pools, grounds, room, food and staff were all fantastic - just a couple of things to note,on entry to Turkey you must pay a £10 visa charge per person this needs to be paid in sterling as they do not except Turkish Lira and if you pay by card, you will be charged in USD which works out more expensive. At the hotel there is no cash point or bureau de change. The reception will convert cash sterling but do not have the facilities to do card conversions. Also, everything at the hotel is in euros not Turkish Lira they will except TL but to convert they just doubled the cost again making things expensive. The water sports on the beach were great, there was jet skies, parasailing ,ringos ,banana ride,to name a few,but be prepared, the cost is approx 40E per person for about 15 mins however, we found it worth every penny! We also paid 40E for a private cabana on the beach which was sheer heaven with waiter service. During our stay we had to pay a visit to the hotel doctor who we found to be very good and helpful. "

Family Fun in the Sun
"To celebrate my parents retirement 13 of us, 7 adults, 2 teenagers, 4 under 12. We booked this holiday over 18 months ago based on the fab reviews. We booked 4 family rooms which were double bedrooms with large lounge which converted into extra bedrooms. The rooms were spacious, very clean, modern, well equipped and in the main hotel area. As the weather was fantastic for Easter, the outdoor water slides were turned on, snack/beach bar were open. The entertainment was fantastic - the staff worked 16hr shifts and were very friendly, funny, approachable and made our whole holiday. The complex was large, right on the beach, plenty of sunbeds, toilets, showers and beach towels were provided daily. The rooms were cleaned daily, the beds changed every other day, mini bar stocked up daily and in the main season you can have 2 items of clothing ironed daily. The food was repetative but due to the large assortment you could have something different every day and it was good (unless you like junk food, then you'll be disappointed). They served great burgers, chicken nuggets, chips and fresh cobs on the beach. There was plenty to do from bowling, darts, artchery, shooting, volley ball, football, table tennis, pool, crazy golf and the kids club kept them entertained from 10-12.30 and 2-4.30 and then a mini disco early in the evening. The staff did the majority of the evening shows which had us in stitches. If you had any problems with your room then it was sorted before you got back to it.
All in all, we would recommend this hotel to any family who wants a great time. You may be surrounded by other nationalities, but everyone got on. It was the best holiday we'd been on if we could, we'd soon be booking up again."

hotel was lovely
"hotel was lovely, 11 of us went with a wide range of children from 6 - 17 years of age. There was something for everyone, childrens entertainment to on the beach nightclub for the older ones. Slides in one of the pools which were great fun for everyone. Food was excellent a wide choice and loads, all day long you could find something to eat, even room service in the early hours. Towels provided which is great keeps the weight down in your luggage or room for more shoes. The only down side was when we first arrived not many english, catered more for germans or russians, reception not great english, and a bit far out from shops, bars and any nightlife, wouldn't feel comfortable letting the older ones leave hotel premises without adults. If i could pick up the hotel and put into another area would go again."

Second visit to Arcadia and on this occa...
"Second visit to Arcadia and on this occasion to celebrate my 50th birthday on the 18th which the Arcadia staff helped me to do!
There is nothing you can't get or do that you'd reasonably expect (and some things you might not) from an all inclusive holiday. Everything is open and clear and all the staff are helpful and friendly. Guest relations have an English assistant manager (Jamie - [email protected]) who can help you with your requests in advance, direct with the Arcadia resort (that Thomas Cook don't) so there is no element of confusion about what you want or what you'll get.
Food fantastic with bewildering choice, room with view of the Med, it is a no questions asked all inclusive with in room mini bar and air con. No extra bills for anything you use or eat that you wouldn't know about. There are some "frills" you can choose to add, such as a la carte restaurants (some free some with 3.75 euro pp cover charge) that are worth the visit.
Also recommend for 35 Euro a day (total, not pp) you can hire a sea front pavilion to be "Sultan for a day" or all week if you want to pay for it. We had four adults and a fourteen year old boy and girl (never bored) and we all fitted more than comfortably; as well as the "tent" there are sun loungers exclusive in your little fenced off "beach garden".
For that you get to lord it on the beach in a Turkish style "pavilion" with mini bar and waiter service, when anything runs out just phone for a top up. Brilliant. They also use them in the evenings (there are only 5) for private family barbecues when they are priced per person but are not bank busting and the amount of food is fabulous.
Thomas Cook rep Dani was upbeat and knowledgable and was never "in your face" selling stuff but always helpful and available to assist, right down to me getting a birthday card from them while I was there!
The on site entertainment team will include you in as much or as little as you want with a show of some description every evening and later on disco. The resort is built in such a way that noise never disturbs you if you don't want it to. It really is soooooo relaxing once you are at ease with it all being there for you to do and no-one out to rip you off.
You simply cannot fault this place, having been in May/June 2005 as well, August is a lot warmer. Oddly for us being British, it was a welcome change to have to stay indoors to keep cool in the air conditioned lounges!
Yeah loads of Russians and, as you might expect, loads of Turkish holiday makers these days, personally I don't see why that would be an issue for anyone. It's great, learn a few Turkish words drop your British reserve about queuing and you cannot fail to enjoy yourself.
We'd all go again.

Myself and husband and 3 kids age, 13,...
"Myself and husband and 3 kids age, 13, and twins boy and girl age 6 have just came back from this wonderful hotel. We spent one week and really did not want to come home for the first time ever. Infact we are booking to go back next year for 2 weeks. This hotel we would recommend to anyone young or older. The kids club was fantastic, the food out of this world and believe me we are fussy eaters. We had two rooms as there was 5 of us, we could of had one family room if we had wanted but decided to have 2. Rooms were kept clean on a daily basis clean towels and laundry every day.
You could have been entertained 24/7 if you had wanted to. To be honest I dont know when the amination team get any sleep. They dont precerious you into any silly games etc that you dont want to play but you can sit back and laugh at those who are willing to take part.
If you get the chance of this marvellous hotel then we would highly reccomend that you go for it. If you dont enjoy yourself here then I would say there is no pleasing you where ever you would be.
