amazing city hotel
"Stayed in this beautiful hotel for two nights last weekend. The staff were incredibly helpful and we were upgraded to a room with a roof terrace and jacuzzi bath which had amazing views of the Cathedral and Giralda. We had breakfast on our first morning which was a lovely relaxing experience with some of the best orange juice we've tasted. Afternoon tea was a lovely touch and we enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace with a drink and a snack. There is a fantastic tapas bar just outside the hotel which got incredibly busy at times but had a great atmosphere. We decided to drive to the hotel to drop off our bags before parking - big mistake. Driving in Seville is a nightmare, the streets are the narrowest we've ever driven along and road signs are not really clear. I'd recommend parking in one of the car parks on the outskirts of the old town and then walking to the hotel unless you're feeling brave! Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and we gave this hotel the accolade of being the best city hotel we've ever stayed in."

Home away from home!
"A small hotel and newly opened.....approx a block from the Cathedral.....handy for exploring the city. Rooms are small by American standareds but perfectly fitted. Bed and pillow were great, shower was probably better than home as we have a "water saver" system. Nice ammenities - free computer time in lobby, a small kitchen is open about 2 hrs in later afternoon for "tea time', and breakfast is self serve in a.m. from same little kitchen - fruit, juice, cereals, bread and yogurts, cheese, ham, etc. The coffee system - Nepresso- is super and new to me tho have seen similar in cooking stores. The dining area is in what was the central courtyard but is now covered. A sunning area on the roof for clients use and don't miss the view at night. The hotel is on a walking street but public parking is a few blocks away - manageable with suitcase on wheels! It is truly a lovely little hotel and quite affordable."

"We enjoyed our stay in Casa 1800 in a superior room with our own jacuzzi on the roof teracce. Very good location close to the Catedral and the famous/genuine Los Gallos for the flamenco dancing. Very friendly staff and a light meal in the evening is included. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Highly recommended."

In the heart of the old City, lovely Hotel with really helpfull staff
"Stayed recently for two nights. Very well located and really nice hotel. Excellent room & bathrooom. Quiet Hotel with no bar or restaurant but not really needed since two steps away from Hotel are more bars than you can shake a stick at. In the afternoon they open up their small kitchen area so you can have tea/coffee and light refreshment"

"The hotel is recently opened and has been superbly renovanted . Stayed for 2 nights in a superior double room. which had a view of the Giralda. Friend stayed in a standard room. without the view Both exellent. Very quiet. Amazingly helpful staff. I have stayed twice previously in Seville and I think that this is the very best place to stay. Can walk very easily to all the sites and also good choice of eateries close at hand. The breakfasts were outstanding. Very fresh bread and cakes plus cooked eggs and bacon. Will stay here again next visit to the city. Only thing the hotel lacked was bar where one could have a drink before and after going out."

Such a gem of a place - location location location!!!
"As soon as we got there, i knew we had hit the jackpot, the room was just spectacular! The small courtyard in the middle of the hotel where breakfast /tea etc is served is just gorgeous. There are free snacks from 4 - 8 pm! its a two minute walk to the Cathedral and the Alcazar and a 10 minute walk upto Plaza Nueova. There is this roof top bar just opposite the cathedral called the Santo restuarante! Please please go there! the staff there were so helpful! our next detination was Granada and we didnt have tickets to the Alhambra, the staff immediately arranged for us to be booked onto a group tour to the Alhambra, how sweet was that! you must stay here whilst in Sevilla, their security is excellent and even though they are placed in a very busy area, the rooms are practically sound proof! such a great great find!"

Extremely impressive: an absolute gem of a hotel, and the staff were terrific
"What a place! Set just around the corner from the Seville Cathedral, with a fantastic roof terrace overlooking the Giralda and Cathedral, this hotel is just new (March, 2010), renovated in an old stately home, with a central courtyard and beautiful 19th century chandelier hanging from the roof. The decorations are impressive, understated and elegant, and the layout and organisation of the hotel was great. We loved the little courtyard off our room, the big bath, the cleanliness and freshness of the decor. The staff were FANTASTIC! They helped us out with our internet connection and when we wanted to stay an extra night offered us a discounted price. The hotel also opened the doors to the kitchen area in the afternoon into early evening, so we could make our own coffee or tea, and they provided cold drinks, croissants, muffins and fruit free of charge. Brilliant. Loved our stay, would go back a million times."

A home away from home
"We booked the Hotel CASA 1800 basing our choice mainly on the location and on the descriptions and photos that we saw on the web about this brand new hotel. We have to say that our experience was above any expectation. The hotel is small (24 rooms), located a bit more than one block from the Cathedral and the Giralda Tower, basically in the heart of the city. Even if the area (Barrio de Santa Cruz) is always pretty crowded it has a pleasant live atmosphere and once you get the foot in the door of CASA 1800 you feel like into a peaceful and homey place. The staff is very professional and at the same time made us feel like family, especially Frances and Eva have been so attentive and helpful in giving us all the informations and advices we asked for. The rooms are tastefully furnished and we had a room on the ground floor with a small private patio. The terrace (which has other rooms with their own outdoor jacuzzi and lounge chairs) has a gorgeous view on the Cathedral and surroundings rooftops. Breakfast is very good and from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. it includes also free coffee, tea and soft drinks with a variety of pastries. The main attractions of Seville are all at a walking distance from the hotel: cultural interest sites, restaurants, tapas bars, shopping, etc. We really feel lucky to have found this hotel and we certainly would go back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seville."

Nice small hotel, excellent position
"This hotel opened at the beginning of march, so everything is brand new. Nothing to say about cleaness, position and staff kindness. I'd a problem with my reservation, I've booked a specific room but when I arrived they told me that it was already taken by another guest and that during the reservation they have promised the same room to two different customers. In the end, I had to accept another room but they gave me a discount, so they tried to solve it. Position is perfect, you can absolutely walk around sevilla and there are many tapas bars just steps away. The rooms on the terrace have the jacuzzi outside the room so I guess you can't really enjoy it when weather is cold. Moreover, if you have a room on the terrace, consider that that space is open for all guests. Another point, if you care about noises, ask for a room on the cathedral side since they are more silent. Breakfast is ok, pastries are really wonderful."
