LAS VEGAS IS EXCELLENT
"me and my husband stayed at the las vegas for a week in october; the hotel was very clean throughout. hotel staff very friendly to us; i think it helps if you say a few words in spanish like hola; and gracias. the breakfasts consisted of normal foods like cereals, eggs, bacon, etc also lovely bread rolls and croissants.evening meals were varied also lovely salads and plenty of different meats and fish if you dont know what the food is try it you might like it. the only drawback with evening meal it can be a little uncomfortable sat with strangers. apart from that we had a lovely relaxing holiday and could watch the sun going down every evening from our balcony"

Myself and my boyfriend have just return...
"Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from a 2 week stay at the hotel las vegas on a half board basis, the food wasnt all that good especially the breakfast we lived on egg on toast for the duration of our stay or we ate out, we were allocated our evening meal at 8.30pm which we thought was quite late but the food was ok, there was chips every night with a selection of different meats, vegetables and desserts. The location of the hotel was excellent just a few minutes from the beach and local bars and shops, Charlie Chaplins was just around the corner which had entertainment every night as the entertainment in the hotel wasnt english. Overall we enjoyed our stay but we wouldnt return to the hotel as they dont cater for english travellers but the hotel itself was excellent very clean with 3 lovely pools and we would also go self catering on returning to salou, but salou is a beautiful place with loads to do."

My Girlfriend and I went to the Las Vega...
"My Girlfriend and I went to the Las Vegas Hotel in Salou for one week in September 2008. This was our first holiday together. Overall the hotel upon arrival is very well organised and very well looked after. This corresponds to its beautiful appearance throughout. There are 3 pools to the hotel, One round the back which is secluded and a lot quieter and two round the front. The location of the hotel is very close to the centre of town meaning it is suitable for kids and the elderly. Furthermore, it is accessible to shopping, or going to the beach or even clubbing which is very close by. On terms of our opinion of the holiday we really enjoyed the hotel itself and life in salou. The only downsides to this hotel are that during the evening meal you are placed in a sitting time, for instance for us it was 7pm and designated a table to sit at. This meant we had to sit with other visitors to the hotel itself. This can be a bit awkward and daunting for some people. On the overall view of this hotel, I would really recommend it to anyone that is going on holiday to Salou. C McRae"

Amazing! ... Firstly i must say this ho...
"Amazing! ... Firstly i must say this hotel isnt really family orientated, if your young, have teenagers and a party animal then this hotel is perfect! I went to the las vegas hotel with 5 of my friends, 17 years old and this hotel is really under-rated! we dreaded deciding who would have the camp bed.. and it turned out there wasnt a camp bed! there were 3 comfy single beds! the rooms were cleaned everyday, they were not dirty , and the bathrooms were very clean... but the maids did tend not to really was the bath/shower and sinks often. we had a GREAT balcony view, overlooking beautiful looking italian men! and spanish men... great view of the sunset in the evenings, but if you want a quiet night dont expect to get one because the hotels location is bang in the middle of everything, i.e all the bars and clubs! If you go to salou, the best clubs to check out are 007, BUS STOP, SNOEPYS, theyr all the places where young people hang out. if u want an all night, KISS is the place to be. the beach was a literal 3 minute walk from the hotel, they have all watersports there, but the beach does get VERY busy, but not that busy where u cant walk anywhere without having to push your way past. the hotel staff are friendly, most of them speak english, and it is respectful and they find it nice if you can atleast say hola, and gracias to them. the reception staff are nice, but if youve just come in from a late night, the night shift guy on reception does tell you to shut up often. Also at the hotel, is a 'security guard' who works the night shift and who is an AMAZING person! hes called miguel, or as we like to call him diango, he wears the same orange shirt every day, but we just fell in love with him. he truely is amazing! the food in the restaurant is good, the waiters/es are a bit rude, theyr english isnt good, so you could do with a translater. the excurions are good the jeep safari is a must, and so is portaventura1 Salou itself is a very nice place, i would vist it again, and this would DEFINATELY be the hotel to stay in, its location is perfect! if you are young , you will love this hotel!"

"We're just back from 2 weeks at Hotel Las Vegas. The Hotel was lovely very clean staff very friendly (barmen in some cases a bit too flirty). The staff also vey friendlyr towards children i had my 2year old son with me and they did always stop and speak to him. The food was good in most cases breakfast did get a bit repetitive. Dinner was the same in was nice but had same thing nearly every week. Alot of French German etc people go to the hotel but there was some english and the staff spoke very good english. The bedrooms were cleaned every morning please be warned that if you fancy a lie in and havent put the sign do not disturb out the cleaners knock the door and walk straight in. Be also warned that the cleaners do have a nosey aboutand a pair of trousers went missing out of the room and a pile of crisps where ate as well. There air con in the room which is good hair dryer which id recommend u bring your own as it wasnt very good. T.v which did only ave 2 english speaking channels which where the news. The walls of the rooms where thin and u could hear the ones in the next room in the corridor and the people above you. at night the hotel at the the back of hotel las vegas could of got =noisy and they would of partied all night this did keep me awake some nights. "This hotel was one of the best i have been to, the hotel itself was clean and a friendly environment with 3 swimming pools, the meals at night was lovely giving you a variety of choice. depending on what you liked but they certainly did cater for all needs. Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel in july 2008, and we definately would come back again, i would reccomend this to anyone whos up for a good time including families, the location was perfect with just a walk away from the beach and town, and entertainment at night. I would rate4 this hotel a 9/10 for just the way our holiday went, the rooms had everything you needed and was clean. There is so much to do in salou, and a visit to Portaventura and Aquapolis is a must see, aswell as taking a walk across the long sandy beaches! This holiday was a great choice and we couldnt of changed anything about it!"

"There were 8 of us in total staying at The Las Vegas, 6 adults and 2 children. The location is perfect.. literally a 2 minute walk to the beach or town with some rooms even having sea-views. The evening meals are exceptionally varied and were always fresh and most importantly hot. The best thing being the selection of vegetables, as most Spanish hotels just seem to have salad carts. The Las Vegas had at least 3 different vegetable choices each night. We were disappointed with the breakfast buffet though after so much effort going into the evening meals - it was the same everyday and we quickly became bored with it. The swimming pools are spacious but do attract the shade so you have to move around throughout the day. The pool bar and main bar were good value for money and the waiters friendly. The only let down of this hotel for us was the evening entertainment - not so much the lack of it but how poorly thrown together it was. The kids club is also very Spanish orientated so the mini disco wasn't of much use to our children but the Spanish children staying there loved it.! The girls working on the reception desk are the most helpful and friendly lot I've come across - nothing was too much trouble for them and their English was spot on.! "

Great Location, One of the best in Salou
"We were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Hotel Las Vegas, i had read reviews and the picture in Thomas Cook did not give this hotel the justice it deserves! The location was absolutely fantastic, having walked around salou, this has got to be in one of the best locations, it also looked to be the nicest hotel in and around salou. Up a slight hill away from the hustle and bussle of the shops, beach is at the bottom of the hill is the bus stop, taxi rank and shops/bars. The hotel itself was extremley clean, staff were always polite and helpful. Bedrooms were neat and tidy and sufficent for the travellers needs. Big bathroom, and pool view. Pool area was spotless, there was ample room to sunbathe. Entertainment was also good on a nighttime. There were a mixture of holiday makers, spanish german and english. The food was as expected buffet style catering for all tastes, lots of salads/veggies/meat and fish. Only drawback of dinner is there are two sittings (7 and 8.30) you may also end up sitting with complete strangers, of which we didnt mind. If you are a family of 4/6 you will mostly like be on your own though. Camrbils is a lovely fishing village 10min bus ride from Salou, few tourists which makes if friedly and authentic. Great for Paella and seafood. Tarragona which is a 30min bus ride is a beautiful city, lots to see and do. The train from salou train station to Barcelona only takes 1.5hours and is a must if you have the time. All in all a fantastic holiday and beautiful hotel i would recommend it!"

Fantastic Hotel, Spotless, Great Location, Food Average 4*
"Hotel located very close to the beach, with great veiews. The hotel staff work endless to keep it spotless & would love to return for another holiday. We have been to Salou numerous times & this is the best hotel in Salou at a fair price. Though the food is only average, we only found one evenings meal to be poor and the rest of the meals okay."

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a fabulous time. The only downside is that on a few occasions our neighbours were noisy but hey, you can expect that in most places. The staff in the hotel were fantastic, our rep was always there when she said she would be, the food was great and yes sometimes you did have to queue but we always got there first! The location was great you could either choose to climb the hill (to burn off dinner) to enter the hotel or use the cheatâs way which we did... Three pools with this hotel and we could have went to a different one each day but the one that catered for kids was quieter would you believe and we loved it! Had a great time and met some lovely people will definitely go back to Salou one day and if we do it will be the same hotel!"
