Tourists can also visit the botanical garden on Paseo de la Alameda that sits between the coast and the Old Town. All of this area is filled with interesting architecture that can tell you a little about the city's history, as can some of the museums that can be found there such as the Municipal Archaeological Collection.

There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Marbella, ranging from traditional Spanish cuisine (including lots of tapas) to more modern cuisine. Visitors could eat at a different place for lunch and dinner each day for the week and still not have visited every place that's worth visiting!
