Don't go there
"This hotel is a 3 stars hotel just because there is a swimming pool but not worth even 1 star. Very dirty and worned. It hasn't been updated probably in the last 10 years. Danger electric sockets, aircon just about to colapse over you, no fridge in the room, bathrooms alfull, floor tiles broken and wobling, the PVC door frame cut to fit there ligth switch and etc. This hotel is a complit joke. Don't worth any penny. Yes it is very close to the beach and so what?"

Basic. Food no good!!!!
"Booked a week here at the start of June 2009. It was fine if you liked a basic holiday. The pool was clean and the bedrooms but they were cramped and the cleaners came very early in the morning so not much chance for a lay on. We were booked half board which was our breakfast and evening dinner. The breakfasts were very disappointing in terms of the only things that were on offer was greasy small croissants and salami and cheese, and fruit which was soggy and not much. The evening meals were average. It catered only for Spanish with salads all the time. I suffered from heartburn for the few days that I dined in the restaurant so took off to the local fish restaurants which are plentiful. The beach was not that far away which I suppose was a good point but were warned not to walk home at nite due to the beggers who roamed the streets at nite as u were pestered constantly. I would only recommend this place for Self catering only. Basic and clean."

"Hotel very clean and comfortable and staff were fine. Were let down by food as it catered mainly for Spanish although there were a lot of English people staying the same week as us. A cooked breakfast 2/3 times a week would have helped. Hotel was noisy due to traffic but this did not bother us. Hotel is near to beach and shops/restaurants also bus. Would not book again because of food. "

"We had a very disappointing holiday overall. The hotel only seemed to cater for the Spanish people. There was no entertainment in the hotel. No holiday atmosphere. The food was mainly catered for the Spanish and certainly not for any other tourists. Staff did not speak very good English; very difficult to understand. The hotel seemed as if it was mainly for Spanish people going on holiday. We had to go out and look for bars and restaurants to have our evening meal even though we were half board. I would strongly recommend that this hotel is avoided by English people if you are looking to book a hotel in Fuengirola. We will certainly not be going back to this hotel. Fuengirola itself is a lovely place to visit, but if we ever went back we would make sure we found a hotel that catered not just for the Spanish people. We seemed to spend most of our holiday spending money on food for our evening meals, as the food in the hotel was disappointing to say the least. We feel as though we have wasted our money on the holiday itself, £1,200.00, and also money that we took for enjoyment was utilised to pay for meals that we should not have had to pay for. I think the tour operator should advise people that this is a hotel that does not really cater for tourists."

"I really was pleasantly surprised when I arrived for a weekâs holiday here. The hotel was very nice, good sized and comfortably bedrooms with clean and decent bathrooms. Food was buffet style, breakfast was continental, and evening had a choice of meat dishes and pasta dishes. Large range of salads available. Pool area was very nice ended up staying there most of the time. Hotel in excellent location, with beach and shops etc within short walk. Staff very friendly and helpful! Would definitely consider staying there again if in Fuengirola! Took about 25 mins from airport by taxi."

"Stayed at this hotel 18 - 22nd June 2007. Hotel clean and very friendly staff. Close to beach and bus stop outside hotel. Nice pool and sufficient sunbeds. No hot breakfast in the morning though...... only the usual toast cakes or fruit. Evening meals a bit bland and not too hot. Booked independantly so happy with price paid. "

"This hotel had been refurbished about a year ago and although it was very clean some of the furniture in the bar and lounge were a bit tatty. We stayed on a half board basis and this is served buffet style. On the first morning we went down to breakfast and there was a choice of cooked English, cereal or a continental meat and cheese breakfast. Tea, coffee or juice was also available. Toast was made using a conveyor belt type machine which needed to have the toast put through 3 or 4 times to get some colour on it. The bain maries were never really hot so all the food was luke warm at best or cold. Although we did have breakfast most mornings we were there we only ate in the restaurant in the evening twice as the food was not very appetising and usually cold. In the evening there are no teas, coffees, water or juice available - you have to buy them separately. The only desert available was fruit. Our room overlooked the main road and although it had a balcony it was quite noisy to sit on and there was a crack in one of the glass panels to it. There were large damp patches above the bed where it looked like the bathroom above had leaked through, speaking of which, the bath was really small and if you are over 5ft tall it is really cramped! The swimming pool area was quite nice and there is a bar which is not staffed continually, you have to ring for assistance. The staff when we were there did not appear to be very friendly and despite booking a cab on the day we left for 5pm and confirming this it arrived at 4pm and we got charged waiting time when we turned up at 4.10pm! Overall I would probably spend time at the hotel again just as a place to sleep, there is no entertainment at all and the food is not very good, but it is 150m from the beach (even though you canât see it) and is on a good bus route. We did only pay £278 per person for half board and flights (which were excellent with Excel Airways). Although there were some English people in the hotel (for a hen night!) most of the customers appeared to be elderly Spanish or French and those English people we spoke to were not really very impressed at all. I would not recommend this hotel for a long stay but if you need only a bed it would probably be fine."
