stay self catering dont dine here
"booked here b and b, was gonna booked all inclusive but didnt, best decision ive made because the breakfast was dreadful, cold beans, cold bacon [fat] snotty eggs, cold porridge,a coffee machine that dispensed two thirds of a small cup of coffee, the coffee cups were stained and not washed properley, people were loading their plates with english breakfast, after a couple of tastes walking to the bin and scraping it in,was quite amusing watching peoples reactions. we had a room on the sixth floor at the front of the hotel which looked into the local football stadium so most nights kids were training and being a sport fan it was free entertainment from our balcony while waiting for the wife to get ready. The one bed apartment was nice, clean, spacious and modern with rooms serviced every other day,but strangely the cleaners never emptied the bin and when i enquired at reception why i was told to take it across the street and deposit it at the garbage point, this was the hotel policy. The apartment had a lovely bathroom with a great shower [no bath] but unfortunately had a really strong drains smell that never went away so we had to keep the door shut all week and brace ourselves when entering. If you do decide to book here ask for a front of hotel room, this gets the sun most of the day,but the back of the hotel is in shadow till early evening as is the uninviting pool area, the higher floors at the front have glimpses of the sea. The hotel is very well placed a five minute stroll to the sea front, bars ,town etc, it is also only five minutes from the train station which runs an excellent half hourly service up and down the coast to benalmedina, torremolinos and many other resorts, it also goes to malaga airport if you want to save on transfers its a couple of euros or so. In summary we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would probably go again but only on a self catering basis."

Average in every way
"Stayed for one week with two small children. This place is NOT at all suitable for small children. No high chair to have in the room, our son could not sit with us and eat. The staff at breakfast looked equally terrified every day when our one-year old spilled food all over the floor. Also the breakfast wasn´t the best ever, the bread was not that fresh. The childrens swimmingpool locked dirty, and the opening hours where few. We realise this is low season but where we come from it´s warm like summertime! The equipment in the room was really inadequate, hardly anything in the kitchen to cook with. The toiletbrush looked like it should have been changed decades ago. Hard uncomfortable beds. On the plusside- nice location within walking distance to the beach. Quiet area. good free wifi. The staff in the lobby where really nice and helpful. The room and bathroom was very modern and clean. But altogether - ok if you just want a place to stay, and you don´t want to cook and you wan´t to eat out (and not at their restaurant)."

ok if you like chips
"We booked this hotel online and after reading reviews was not sure about it, we requested a Double, low level room, bath, pool view, with a cot when we checked in we were given our room, Twin room on the 5th floor no bath, and overlooking a building, with no travel cot, I went and told reception I was not happy as they had not even given us 1 thing on the request`s even though the hotel was 1/4 full and they moved us to the 1 st floor which was much better and almost had everything we requested. as we booked a travel cot and that was still not in the room we asked why and was told it was an extra 8 Euro a day (this was not mentioned at time of booking ) the apartments are new modem and very nice, with all we needed, as for the food it was dreadfully if it was not cooked it was cold, 1 day the chicken was raw inside, then it seamed that the sea food from one day was then reheated in a paella the next. and the only potato dish every day was CHIPS, and cold at that frozen veg cooked to pulp with no taste at all All inc drinks are available from 11 am -2 PM then from PM to PM and last 10pm to 11pm from the bar, the other times it closes so if you wont a drink you have to go to restaurant for some food. overall the apartments are great the food really bad would only go again self catering as the restaurants around this area are plentifully and not expensive"

Great for a peaceful holiday
"We found the hotel apartments to be great. Wonderful air con, very comfortable bed and a well stocked, well equipped kitchen. We had a lovely, huge balcony with wrought iron table and chairs, though not a great view. Food was often on the cold side and at dinner, not always plentiful or restocked quickly, but the staff were always pleasant and attentive, bringing drinks to the table etc. I think they were probably just short staffed in the evenings. Breakfast foods were rather overly greasy at times and again, in short supply after the first sittings, and croissants/pastries a little stale. Lunch times seemed to be the best food for some reason, but by no means 'bad' at any time. Bar staff are friendly and provide very generous measures. Reception staff are likewise friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely but the pool attendant - a young lady - didn't seem overly keen on English guests and if looks could kill, I'd have dropped dead, but she didn't bother anyone either. The jacuzzi though was stone cold and couldn't be heated, whether by design or due to being broken I didn't find out. You have to ask the pool attendant to turn it on for you, which she did relatively reluctantly. I wasn't overly impressed with the beach or the surrounding area, and again, I felt English people weren't very welcome, but maybe that was just my experience. It's certainly not the prettiest place I've ever been to in terms of scenery, but for just lying by the pool and relaxing, it's an ideal location and hotel. There's no information given as to what's available in the hotel - for all inclusive guests anyway - and we never did find out where the sauna and turkish bath were. We only found out about the snack bar etc., from other guests. Internet is available free - just get a username and password at reception. But it was a good reliable wifi connection, other than at night when it ran rather slowly. Overall, this was a good place to go if you're looking for quiet, poolside relaxing and plentiful meals/drinks. Nothing to do in terms of entertainment at night and I didn't see much for little kids to do, but that suited me just fine. Not ideal for people wanting a lively holiday though."

Great self catering but food not good at all
"Myself, husband and our 3 year old daughter came back from the Nuriasol appartments last night. The appartments are in a great location as they are quiet but only 5 minutes or so walk to the train station that takes you to the other popular resort along the coast and also the beach and port. The appartments had everything and more including a dishwasher and washing machine, the beds were the most comfortable I have had in Spain. The down side was the food as it was at times inedible and we ended up eating out for 80% of the time, the all-inclusive option (although cheap) was not worth the extra money as you will spend it anyway. The all-inclusive drinks are not 11am - 11pm they are infact 11am-13.00pm / 15.00pm - 20.00pm / 22.00pm - 23.00pm with snacks left to stand the whole day. I would stay at the appartments again as self-catering however definately not all-inclusive and finally there is no entertainment at all or much to do when the weather is bad"

Shame there was no entertainment
"Just back from a week in this hotel. It was a lovely apartment with more kitchen equipment than many people would have at home. The hotel is new so we did have a few issues with TV not being tuned in and the shower not working. We reported theses to reception and they sent someone with in 10 mins to fix. The food is plentiful but I would say as this is their first year of doing all inclusive the food is still really aimed at their European guests. All in all the hotel was nice and I liked the fact it was in the quiet un -commercialised area of Los Bolices. BE WARNED this hotel has no entertainment at all. Our son is 8 and we found it hard to occupy him. All the bars etc are a good ten min walk with Kids and so night time was pretty dull."

bright, spacious, clean and very well equipped apartment
"my friend & i stayed at these apartments for 7 nights from 17th june. we were all inclusive for the bargain price of £300 each including flights & transfers. on arriving at 1130 at night we were sill able to get a hot snack at the bar & wine :) food isnt great. if you are fussy you'll not be happy! we're not so managed on salad, pasta, chips - the usual - and there was always 2 choices from the grill cooked to order. cakes were good & the ice-cream to die for! they are generous with drinks too. we asked for 2 white wines with dinner & got a bottle :) rooms are great. ideal if you are self catering. huge fridge freezer, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle & toaster. there is a fantastic Mercadona underneath the apartments which has everything you would need & most things are cheaper than at home, e.g bottle of white wine 0.95 cents!!! only complaint i had was the towels were too fluffy! location is great if you want peace & quiet or like to venture on the train. ideal if you want to get the train from malaga airport - 5 mins up the hill. to walk into 'town' takes a good 20/30 mins or you are 7 euros in a taxi. you could also jump on a bus for a couple of euros. the walk is nice tho. either along the promenade or thru the busier back streets with lots of shops :) beach is a 5 min walk. when we arrived there was always plenty of sunbeds but as the week went on they tended to run out quickly, so a few more are needed. we were not able to keep our room for a late check-out as we were advised the hotel was full. unfortunately they also couldnt provide a courtesy room & the only other showers available are beside the pool which are freezing. so we had to opt for a wash at the sink.....not ideal after a day in 30 degree heat! but, we managed. overall tho a great place to stay if you dont mind being out of town a bit. would definately stay again."

Extremely Basic Apartment !
"Extremely Basic, Had to buy the "needs" for my stay (1 month). Self catering : no cleaning and room services. Swimming pool only open mid june to end august. "Office" closed at 1900 hrs (7 PM) . One Asian restaurant located in the building . No TV or radio equipments in the room. Paid 1000 euro /month. Very small balcony, only room for 2 persons, no extra " balcony furniture" , just empty balcony space. Very noisy at times due to car traffic outside and drinking parties in nearby rooms. Bad isolated building. Food - and General shops on the ground floor."
