Nice price hotel
"Like everyone else Hotel is good value for money but food is awful. Staff very friendly but beware of the spanish guy working in the hotel shop especially if your married. Also there is a steakhouse called Tabago who offer al le carte menu, we called in there for a nice steak meal and got steak that you couldnt cut or chew but was tasty, when we mentioned about the steak was then told by the owner "for you you pay full tax" and was charged 3 euros 10 for two squirts of ketchup so avoid this place seriously. We also found that drinking in the bars that drinks were never the same price, and im not on about any special first drink price etc either, but normal drinks so beware of being ripped off. But apart from that if you can put up with the rude spanish and the arogant europeans who seem to think they own the footpath (And they say the English are the rude drunken louts) then its ok Basically you get what you pay for. But seriously hotel isnt to bad for what you need its right in center of town/shops 5 mins walking"

"Myself and a friend (aged 20) stayed in this hotel for 10 days ... The service was okay! but only when the boss and his family were in the lobby! when they arnt around staff smoke outside while on shift and prey on you ... Rooms were fantastick, Cleaners are english and give excellent adive and assistance when needed.... Hotel is located close to main street and a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop! .. Hotel has its own shop but you are not allowed to drink any drink or eat any food from there while you are in the hotel unless its in your room ????... DO NOT come here if you dont enjoy school trips of 15-20 16 y/o running around early hours of the morning up and down the hallways knocking on your doors, and all laying around the pool jumping in it and splashing everywhere. Food was discusting! we hated it was h/b and ate out 8 days out of 10! Drinks are verry expensive aswell"

Great Hotel with great prices in High Season
"Great hotel, i booked it because i was looking for a hotel in the city center not too far away from the beach in lloret de mar and hotel acapulco had a very competitive price. i came from gerona airport by bus and i was lucky that the hotel is very close to the bus station in lloret de mar, it is a 3 minutes walk. actually you can see the hotel sign from the bus station. the rooms were clean and had a large bathroom with a bath. the breakfast was amazing, with eggs, meats, croassants, yoghurt, bread, juices, self-service machines for hot drinks. the security of the hotel is good, but as you know lloret de mar is a party city, that means that the hotel has many party guests that run and scream all night. the pool looks bigger on the pictures"

"just back from hotel acapulco. Rooms were clean and average size. Went to this hotel with the school and we weren't the only school there either. There was night entertainment every night at 9.00 or 9.30. The beach is about 10 minute walk away, Bowling alley and mini golf centre about 4 minute walk away and loads of markets just around the corner of the hotel. The food for breakfast was grand, loads of different breads, yoghurt, churros, eggs and sometimes beans and bacon. The food for dinner was not bad but you had to pay for drinks and they were expensive. The food for dinner was ok, not the best. Depending on the night there were different soups, fish or chicken paella, chips or onion rings and different types of meat. There was loads of fruit and ice cream at dinner. There was salad every night and it was eaten by everyone on the trip every night because it was lovely and fresh. If you are going to this hotel I advise you choose to go when school is out so you won't end up with loads of different teenagers staying in the hotel at once. I do reccomend this hotel for groups or families or going away for a weekend because the rooms are nice, the area is large and there is always something to do. The pool looked nice, we never got a chance to go but it was open from 9.00a.m. to 7.30p.m.."

Very basic hotel
"This hotel is fine if you want to slum it. We were given a twin room, even though we booked a double room with Easyjet Hotels. After we asked the hotel staff if we could have a double room they pacified us by telling us the double rooms were at the noisy side of the hotel and we wouldn't like it. We decided to stay with the twin room, which didn't have a balcony and overlooked a large roof and lots of other nicer rooms with balconys. My husband tried the breakfast on the first day and came back to our room saying he just had the coffee as fried eggs were congealed and the sausages were cut up frankfurter style things. He said even the coffee was awful and was self-served from a machine. On the upside, the hotel is clean and the pool area is nice. Another point, which has nothing to do with the hotel, is that we were mugged on our way home from a restaurant. We had stopped off for a drink at a nice German bar and before we knew it, it was 1.30am. The main street, which up until 12am had been quite busy with people and was now deserted. Two men came along, one pretended to be drunk and was playfully dancing around my husband, he gave my husband a hug, then after my husband pushed him off, he walked off. After a few minutes we realised he had taken my husband's wallet, which would have been safe in his front jeans pocket. So a word of caution to anyone heading to LLoret de Mar, don't stay out after 12am. We were lucky that we were not hurt and count this as a lesson. When we returned to the hotel and told them what had happened they were uncaring and would not phone the police. They asked us to walk to the police station, about 10 mins walk away, which we did. The police were equally uncaring, giving my husband a roughly photocopied statement form and a blunt pencil! Next holiday, we are going more up market, you really do get what you pay for!!!"

Nice hotel, excelent value for money
"Me and my husband sat there 2 times, last year and 2 years ago, in july and we had some very nice hollydays. The stuff was very nice evry time we ask for something. For example, in 2 days witch was in Barcelona, they changed dinner with lunch. We had a room with pool view, very nice. The maid clean our room every day. The food was ok, not too diversified, but not bad. In the morning they had everytime all kind of eggs, english brekfast, fruites, ham, cheese, etc., and for dinner they had salates, fish, steak, pasta.... so you can definitely choose something on your taste. The hotel is at 300 m from the beach, near to the bus station and close to the interest centre. We felt very well there and we definetly recomand this hotel."

Last year I stayed in Lloret for a week ...
"Last year I stayed in Lloret for a week in June and had a truly terrible time, but this year I had a totally different experience, this was all down to my choice of hotel. Last year the hotel was the Flamingo and I thought never again, this time was the turn of the Acapulco and must say I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, but most of all the food was interesting and edible, they even had a choice for vegetarians like me every night. Just goes to show how the star rating system does not really tell all and must be accompanied with on-line research. So thanks Acapulco for restoring my faith in some at least of Lloret's hotels. "

Adequate and Innexpensive
"Stayed at the Acapulco for 4 days while on tour with a Rugby team. The rooms were a little small, but very clean and well maintained. Pool area and all common areas were clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The food did leave room for some improvment, the food was edible, but tended to be simple, bland and greasy. Great rates too."

Very rude and unfriendly staff
"Stayed here for a weekend with my friends, we were told on arrival that if we paid 20 euros we could keep our room for longer on our departure day. Then on the day we were to check out the receptionist told us to be out of the rooms for 10 am and would not let us keep our rooms on even though there was availability. We ended up having to sit in reception for 12 hours as there was torential rain outside. We had a triple room which was the smallest hotel room I have every seen . The bathroom was too tiny to use, and when we asked for a new room cause our friend had a broken leg they just ignored us. I will definetly not be back!!"

"we had a lovely time at hotel acapulco, the staff were friendly the rooms were clean. the pool and pool side was nice. the only thing is our room had no air con, this was fine for early july but may be uncomfortable late july august. the surroundings were nice, short walk to the beach and places to eat."

"I went to Lloret to spend some days with some friends. We booked that hotel because of the location and the rates! We expected a 3 stars beach hotel (that means that we expected a 1 star hotel) but we were wrong. The hotel is good, nice room size, clean (but no air conditioning in the rooms) and the staff is incredible. We found it very familiar and this is a very good point! They solved very problem we had and they helped us a lot! I really recommend it !!!!"
