Brilliant hotel,great location 4 nightlife!!
"Had a great time staying at Hotel venus, was given a room on the 3rd floor facing 'Jokers' was quite noisy so we asked to move to pool view. was changed the next day! Maids are very friendly as are all the staff apart from reception. Found them quite rude, didnt speak much english and they lost our transfer vouchers and refused to help us get in touch with them. The foods very nice, pools clean and has sun from early morning til late evening! Its situated in a great location for the nightlife. Only downfall is reception staff and there wasnt much entertainment on for younger people(18-30) day or night!"

Good Hotel, awful room.
"Having stayed in this hotel before I had great expectations but unfortunately we were given a room on the ground floor with a view of a yard containing rubbish with not even a glimpse of the sky, it even had bars on the windows!
Having complained about the room we were put on the waiting list and was finally given an alterative two nights before we were due to leave.
To say we were disappointed is an understatement, we will think twice about staying here again."

Good HOtel Pity About Staff
"This hotel was very good for a three star, the food was excellent and hotel was spotless. Unfortunately the rudeness of the reception staff spoilt our holiday.
Ten months ago we requested a high floor room with pool view, we got to the hotel on saturday 19th may to be told we had third floor looking out on to the road. After a very busy night on the road until about 07.00hrs in the morning, i went to reception to ask to move rooms. We were told hotel full and could not move until later on in the week. We moved rooms on tuesday and thankfully was given 9th floor, pool view. This was a lovely room, again unfortunately spoilt on the last day by a group of young spanish lads who took over 4 room opposite us and caused chaos most o fhte night on friday, the day before we were going home. Went to reception to report the noise and was told by staff that this is to be expected in a hotel!!!!!
i hasten to add the security guard came and tried to quieten everything down.
I would not stay in this hotel again because the staff spoilt the holiday and also our requests were not met."

"My wife and i have just returned from this hotel. we had a wonderful time, the staff, from reception to room cleaners were very friendly and efficent. Meals fantastic plenty of choice. Location ideal even for people with mobility problems. Close to clubs and discos, but far enough away so as not to be affected by noise. Two minute walk from the outdoor market. There is one possible drawback for some people but not for us during our stay because I don,t think the hotel was full. The majority of the restraunt tables are set for four or six people so if the hotel is full and you are travelling as a couple you will have to share the table with strangers. This could be construed as nit picking because everything else about the hotel is ideal for a lovely holiday. So if you decide to visit have a nice time. Ps for the first time ever in a hotel we had sky sports on the tele in the room."

"The Venus Hotel staff must be amongst the most friendly we have encountered in Spain to date. On arrival we were informed that we could go straight to the dining room for lunch and then come back and register. The hotel was very clean, including under the beds! Our room, though not especially big, was adequate and towels were renewed everyday.
We had not intended to eat at the hotel everyday but the standard and choice offered was good. The pool area is large with plenty of sunbeds, the only drawback was there could have been a few more parasols.
Would recommend this hotel for anyone who likes Benidorm. One warning though Benidorm is having a few problems with thieves - two of the gentlemen in our party had their wallets stolen and we heard of more while we were there."

"we went to hotel venus as a family 0f 3 in july .Hotel very clean, entertainment very good but was repeated weekly rather than fornightly.pool area very clean and spacious with plenty sunloungers for everyone.plenty food to choose from but had a lot of a spanish dishes which weren't so suitable for fussy kids.very close to beach ,only a 5 minute walk. all entertainment stopped at exactly 12.30 each night which then meant there was no noise ,however this may not be the case with a room facing the busy road.staff very friendly and helpful. kids entertainer fernando very funny. would definately return again."

BE WARNED THIEVIES ABOUT
"The staff were friendly food good but manager was not interested when are room had are things stolen. maids leave doors open and help them selves to your money cameras and mobile phones.
they leave cents which is of no value to them. safes are there but can also be removed off the walls. make sure that you have good contents insurance as travel insurance is not worth the paper it is writen on."

Excellent holiday at Residencia Venus
"Are just back from a weeks stay at Residencia Venus. There were 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 children. The hotel is excellent and we would recommend it to anyone, old and young alike. The hotel is immaculately clean with a maid servicing your room every day (lovely to get your bed made for you every morning) and fresh towels every day. The pool is excellent with plenty of sunbeds and a reasonable sized kids section for little ones. The restaurant is also excellent and there is always something for everyone to eat, even roast beef , yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes for Sunday lunch, and puddings galore to die for.
The rooms (I believe) are larger on the residenica side than the actual hotel venus side. There were 4 beds in our room, which was a bit of a squash but 2 of the beds were pull out camp beds and you could just put the mattress from them on top of the other beds and fold the base into their cupboards, which gave you more room. Plenty of storage space and a bath with shower over, and more importantly piping hot water all day.
Entertainment was great for kids during the day with "Fernando" setting up games of Killer Pool, skittles and bingo.
I would recommentd the Hotel Residencia Venus to anyone, will hopefully return one day."

"We have stayed at the Venus hotel on two occassions and are staying there again in October 2006.
The hotel is in a central location, just across the road from the twice weekly market. The beach is a ten minute stroll away with shops, bars and cafes all around. The Green Room just round the corner is a very clean, and welcoming cafe.
The Venus is light and spacious and is particularly good for people with mobility problems. My Mum finds the ground floor rooms and lift down to the restaurant and second bar really useful. The hotel will even arrange mobility scooters if required.
The food is buffet style and well presented with lots of choice. They also have a themed section with food from a different country each night. Men must not wear vests in the dining room.
The rooms did need updating but the last time we stayed this was been remedied, rooms are cleaned every day.
The pool is fairly large and there is a children's play area, there is a pool bar plus pool tables. We have never found a shortage of sunbeds.
There is some entertainment at the hotel, bingo, linedancing, singers etc. but there is lots of entertainment at local bars on the doorstep.
There is also a hairdressers connected to the hotel.
Staff are friendly and helpful."

Rooms very small bathroom door glass you can see through from bed . . Food choice very poor . Salads basic but better than hot food . In fact eating out tonight although restaurant staff pleasant . I stood and waited at bar to be served the other nite whilst three others came in and got served an on looker commented that I must be invisible . I walked out they wont get my custom . Today I realized something from our room was missing we kicked a stink up and suddenly it was found on maids trolly!!!!!! Wont be staying here again heard around the pool others disappointed too "

Venus Hotel Benidorm
"Nice & clean, staff friendly, pool area good, room service good, food is ok ,affordable hotel, in a good location on levante.
Room is a little small and the only fault we could talk about is the bathroom situation, the Toilet/Bathroom is very small and offers minimum privacy as the bathroom door is frosted glass with gaps to side, top & bottom directly opposite the bed nearest to the balcony, this is not very comfortable for the person using the toilet or the other occupant of the room, the hotel is split in half and i am usure what the situation with the bathroom/toilet is in the other half of the hotel.
