"Just come back from a weeks holiday in Benidorm, at this hotel. Clean well run, good food etc, the hotel is aimed at elderly people, but that wasnt a problem. I dont eat meat or fish so found meals at times were hard for me, but there was lots of salads etc. Did ask for a picnic lunch, and had tuna fish included!! dont think there is many vegatarians in spain at all. Would certainly go back to this hotel."

"Beautiful hotel situated in a quite area of Levante, stylish rooms with everything you could want for. The pool area is well maintained and there were plenty of sunbeds even on the busiest of days.
It is a four star hotel in every area apart from the food which is the most basic I have ever seen, the best it got was a few king prawns and mussels, the queues were long as often the dishes were left empty and the pudding was mostly hot rice! If you eat out a lot but want a well maintained hotel then this is the place for you.

My Partner and myself stayed at the Castilla Hotel in August 2005 for our 2 weeks Summer holidays. We found the hotel itself to be very beautiful inside and out. The rooms were very nice and always cleaned in the morning, food was excellent and the Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The only let down was the hotel entertainment, it was aimed at a much higher age group. There was a lot of elderly couples in the hotel but also some young couples and the entertainment was more for the elderly.
I would definately recommend this hotel to friends and family if they were looking for a relaxing holiday.

"The Castilla has now been upgraded to a 4 star hotel. It is situated in a quiet street within easy walking distance down the Yellow Brick Road (really a path) approx 10mins to the Levante beach. The hotel is very clean and the bedrooms have a hairdryer and also a fridge. (f.o.c.)
The food was varied and well cooked. The staff were very helpful especially in the Reception. Sunbeds could not be claimed until 9.00 a.m. so everyone had the same chance. There are many bars in the immediate area.

loved everything there!!
"myself and my boyfriend went to the hotel castilla in july this year 2005. As we arrived at the hotel all staff were very friendly. the hotel was beautiful. It had a lovely entrance dining room and bar. The pool was lovely and clean but could of been a little bit bigger. The bedrooms were quite nice to, u had a hairdryer, fridge, air con and a privite bath room. The sheets and towels were changed every day by the maids. The dining room was lovely and so was the food. It was a buffet style meal which was a bonas. The only thing about the hotel was the price of drinks. They were a little expensize but not to bad. They also provided ice lollies etc for you to buy while you were lazing by the pool. The hotel was situated in the perfect spot. It was only a short walk to the bars and the beech. at night you couldnt hear any noise from the bars or any clubs which was great. The hotel castilla is great for families and couples who want a relaxing and exciting holiday. I would deafantly give it 5 out of 5."

4 Star Castilla
"Husband and I have just spent an enjoyable week at the Castilla, Benidorm. Thomson 4 * Full Board basis - food/variety and vegetarian choice is good. We've both put on weight! Excellent hotel location for access to new and old town, quiet atmosphere in hotel both day and night. Negatives: entertainment programme consists of the half hour show in evening eg Spanish dancers, singers, pianist/singer. Lifts broke down twice in a week with people in - engineers quick to repair but because of this we used the stairs all week to and from 5th floor (hotel has 11 floors). Next time we'd ask for 1st floor room. Pool quite small. Otherwise excellent."

Nice and Tidy
Myself and the wife stopped at the Castilla and found it very nice. The breakfast was tasty, Full English (sausages and beans tasted like they did at home) and HP sauce!
Rooms were ok, we were lucky to face the pool.
Toilets in the Bar area were very clean.
A nice touch was morning and afternoon a waitress came round the pool with sandwiches or cakes.
The only down-side was the pool.cold and not much happening.
All this on a Late Deal,
I even filled in the Hotel questionaire and received a reply from them when I arrived home, Great!

This was our second stay in the Castilla...
"This was our second stay in the Castilla, hotel is fantastic, immaculate public areas, bedrooms cleaned every day and clean towels, sheets provided.
Hotel about a 10 minute stroll from main square and pubs/clubs, within walking distance but once you are back in hotel with door shut its just so peaceful!. Pool area clean although people did tend to put towels out very early in morning but as Benidorm has fantastic beaches, who needs the hotel pool?
Food amazing, so much to choose from and nicely presented also. Staff very friendly and efficient in reception and dining room areas. Would recommend the Castilla to anyone looking for a good hotel with good food and within walking distance of nightlife."

"I went to the Castilla hotel last year in July-August, it was my secong time in Benidorm, the last hotel we went too was a 4 star Flamenco Oasis we went on the first day it opened and there were a lot of mishaps but the Castilla was exceptional it was clean big and the food was average but it was situated perfectly by al the nightlife but also i didnt keep you up in the morning the swimming pool is deep and quite small but very quiet in the mornings, it gets busier in the afternoons but only for a couple of hours, the beach is only a 5 or 6 minute walk away and is the main reason for me and my family going to Benidorm, I still think the LOevante beach is the best side of Benidorm but i would definately go back to Castilla hotel! And you should too!"
