Just got back after 7 night stay
"This has got to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Food was excellent plenty of variety to choose from, comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening entertainment was very very good especially Ashleigh what a guy he is the best. We could have gone out but did not want to miss Ashleigh and his entertainment. To sum it up we will definitely return. Bob and Linda"

fantastic christmas and new year
"Have just got home from Benidorm, we stayed for three weeks in the Hotel Riudor, my husband, myself and our disabled daughter had requested a walk in shower and a room for three to share as our daughter cannot cope on her own. did not hold out much hope in the shower department as according to website only baths. However were delighted to find our very pleasant room had what looked like a brand new walk in shower fitment. we thought this is too good to be true something wont be right -usually the case when we check in to a hotel-we went to lunch (as we were full board)and could not believe the quality, quantity and variety on offer - we assumed this must be treated as the main meal of the day and less would be on offer at dinner time, how wrong we were, dinner time - more variety -and same quality and quantity. The restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and friendly, they located a table just inside the door so that our daughter could reach it easily, (this happened every mealtime, every day for our entire stay). The cleaning staff could not have been more friendly, helpful or efficient in fact the entire hotel staff were extremely efficient, and friendly -we could not fault any member of staff in the the entire hotel. The hotel is situated a short walk from the beach - there is a slope leading to a disable entrance with a touch pad to open. The entertainment every night was the best we have had in any hotel we have ever stayed in. The entertainment manager -Ashley - a young English man did an amazing job keeping us all amused and entertained thru out our stay. The Thomson rep David -another young English man, was friendly, extremely helpful and totally efficient in his job anything he wasn't sure of he would find out and let us know the answer to our questions. All in all i cannot think of any downside to the hotel we would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing, entertaining, satisfying holiday in Benidorm. On Christmas day we were totally impressed with the effort put in by the hotel, during the afternoon there were snacks laid on in the bar with a complimentary drink , we had a gala dinner with complementary bottles of wine and caviar everybody in the hotel received a Christmas present from father Christmas -which was a nice touch. Then on new years eve -yet another gala dinner with a goody bag handed out to everyone with a mug and various treats to see in the new year. yet again we were all given complimentary wine and caviar. on the the 6th(which was the Spanish equivalent of Christmas day, we were offered various traditional Spanish treats. All in all a wonderful and memorable holiday for us all. Thank you Hotel Riudor. "

BOUNCING BENIDORM AT 60.
"Wow! First time in Benidorm and the place never sleeps. The hotel Riudor definitely punches above its 3 star rating. The food choice was fantastic and totally edible with the breakfast as good, if not better than at home. The all inclusive was by far the best that we have had in Europe. The bedroom was compact but totally adequate and very clean. Unfortunately the pool area is quite compact and crowded but you soon get used to it and it is a great place to meet people. The hotel does have a no reserving of beds policy but this is not adhered to but we still found sunbeds every day. The hotel is in a good position to sample the local nightlife if you don't fancy the hotel entertainment but we found it to be very good. Amazingly it is the only hotel that we have stayed in that was tuned in to both the ITV and SKY sports channels in your room which was fantastic. We will definitely be back. "

Lovely Friendly Hotel
"We spent one week at the Riudor from 22nd until the 29th September 2011. We arrived fairly early...I can't remember the exact time, but our flight from Gatwick was at 6:30AM, and our room was ready for us. We were on the 1st floor facing the front entrance, even though we were right on top of a couple of noisy bars, we were not kept awake. The air conditioning was excellent so there was no need to have the balcony doors open. We paid for the all-inclusive option, which was well worth it for us even though we went out to other bars quite often. The food was very good with plenty of choice. The pool area is a little on the small side and the pool is quite deep, we didn't have too much of a problem with sunbeds but there were several people who saved the best with their towels and disappeared for the best part of the day! We walked to the old town (about half an hour) well worth doing. We got a number 12 bus to the Carrefore and Marina shopping centre near Finestrat...we weren't impressed and wouldn't bother again! We visited Terra Mitica last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, unfortunately we didn't have time to return this year! We did make it to El Cisne, which is a boot sale/ flea Market on the way to Altea (number 10 bus, 1.30euros each way each). It's open on Saturdays & Sundays and I would strongly recommend a visit El Cisne has a wonderful bar and restaurant with live acts all afternoon, the atmosphere is amazing! Be aware of a money exchange place called DOMO, it's on the same road as Las Ocas/ Pelicanas hotels, they are a rip off, they tried to charge us 35 euros commission on £200! My partner kicked up such a storm they had to give us back our £200 or they wouldn't have had any more gullible customers to rob! We found the indoor market, just passed the Las Ocas/ Pelicanas hotels, the best place to exchange cash. I would definitely go back to the Riudor, I loved it there! "

"Really good hotel, me & my husband was there for 2 wks and my mother in law for 1 wk. We had no compliants with this hotel, my husband and I are young and we enjoyed the entertainment in the hotel. The hotel is located very close to the beach, and the nightlife around is 2nd to none. Once the window door was shut you never heard the noise outside. The food in the hotel is very good, as my husband is fussy and he enjoyed everything he ate. The only quirk we had was with the rep, they never told you enough about the hotel i.e TV, air con, day time food etc. I would visit this hotel again and there was no kids, so you could just relax around the pool, and sleep off the hangovers."

" Just got back from two weeks in benidorm stayed at this hotel with 4 other friends. we are all of the age of 19 to 20 we had such a good time staying at this hotel the staff were so nice and friendly and made sure we were all right every night when we were going out and coming back in. the rooms were very clean and are a good size as there were 3 of us in there i thought there woulnt be much room but i was shocked at how much room there actually was. the food was good most nights but i only say tht as i am a fussy eater. there are plenty to try and the food it always hot. we didnt stay in to watch the intertainment as it was mostly for the older people and we usually wanted to go out into the square. i would say tht the hotel isnt suited to the young but i would go back and stay as there was no noise or hassle. The hotel is right near all the shops and pubs i would recommend john and joesphs as the staff in there are all very nice. had the best girls holiday ever and i would go back to this hotel in a flash :) "
