"I was booked into this hotel from 29/2/16-1/4/16 hotel closed for a refurbish told to go back on the 4/3/16 hotel closed told by one of the workers that it would be closed for another two weeks yet on their website it said would be open in one week. I had been there for three months last year October till December and asked if I could leave my case there till I got back they said it was no problem, guess what discovered my bag has been stolen from a locked room, make your own mind up bout this. I got blisters on my feet looking for alternative accommodation as this is a very busy time of the year"

Royal Queens Benidorm
"Hi. My self and my Wife went to Benidorm in late February. We chose the Royal Queens after we read the reviews on trip advisor, and also we wanted a small Hotel in Old Town. This Hotel is basic but spotlessly clean, the Staff are a laugh a minute, the food is great. If you are going to Benidorm for a break this is the Hotel you should choose. Our many thanks to all the staff at the Royal Queens for making our stay very enjoyable."

"An excellent hotel that definitely does NOT have staff with an attitude problem. This hotel is highly recommended as it is so friendly and absolutely everyone is welcome (even the previous reviewer!!!!!). The rooms are quite basic yes, but you get exactly what is advertised and if you look at the brochure then you would know what you are getting. For £115 a week you obviously do not expect to get a 5 star hotel. The rooms are extremely clean and any request will be met by the management if possible. The food is absolutely excellent and I have never had a bad meal anytime i have visted the Queens. The staff are extremely welcoming and always remember you time after time. The management are wonderful and work extremely hard to keep everyone happy. Bear in mind that the management work in the hotel in the day and they also do the entertainment on a night. Which is free!!!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a sense of humour who wants a relaxing, friendly holiday. Sarah x"

TWO WORDS DONT BOTHER
"Dissapointed is the understatement, this hotel is recomended by so many people and is a huge dissapointment. Small cupboard sized rooms. Staff with MAJOR attitude presumibly taught to them by the arrogant, ignorant management. Only bother to go to this hotel if you are (a) The type of man who the managers are attracted to. (B) If you are a middle aged loud drunken woman who is in ore of outdated sexist drag shows. Food was........Ok but the hotel is seriously over rated. NOT gay friendly.............NOT relaxing........NOT a place where I personally would ever go again.......Waste of a decent holiday."

For party animals
"The staff were friendly. There is a great terrace bar on the 8th floor. Went as a group, some rooms at the front and other on the side. The noise is really bad at night until about 4am. There are bottle banks across from the hotel at the front where all the local resturants empty their bottles until about 3am, loud is not the word for it and on the side, rooms overlook 3 bars which are open until the early hours in the morning, about 4am playing loud music. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms even smaller, I could just about get in there but could not dry after a shower. Towels and sheets need replacing as they are tatty. Would suit party animals who stay out until 4am otherwise you wont get a good nights sleep. I wont be going back here unless things change. One of the owners, Wayne, was fantastic but Derek made some feel uncomfortable due to his abrupt manner."

GOOD FOOD , EXCELLENT STAFF AND PRICE
"hi Been staying here for several years, what can we say the hotel has had a massive quality refurbishment, with new rooms and bar area , terrace and soft furnishings The price is guaranteed and value for money, the staff are professional , pleasant and fun. Julie the manageress is a star and has always time for a chat whilst controlling the Queens hotel . Benoir the little French waiter has a wonderful manner and should be on the stage with his wit and one liners. Wayne and Derek the owners have given the British a haven to stay where they know they are safe and secure whether your straight ,gay, or a family and deserve to succeed after all the time, money, and sheer hard work they have put in . Where else can you have a 1st class meal competitively priced and at the same time enjoy a 1st class variety show thats free in Benidorm We shall definitely return and many of our large party reserve rooms for our next visits before we leave . Well done to all at the Queens keep it up Steve and Carl xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

What building site
"We stayed at the Queens for a week we were not told that there was builders working on the hotel when we booked .We spoke to the Manageress Julie who said that there is nothing they can do if we wanted to find somewhere else it was up to us. When eating our breakfast the dust was so bad that we just could not eat and had to go somewhere else to eat.On one night we had to endure bits of the ceiling falling whilst we where eating our evening meal again we could not eat the food When we spoke to one of the owners Wayne his only response was to shrug his shoulders and say what do you want for the price. We reported the matter to the tourist board and they did not seem surprised about this problem."

Great place to stay.
"Stayed here in June 2004 with 8 friends. The hotel is in the best part of Benidorm - the Old Town with great Tapas near by. The rooms were cheap & the food was great. Wayne & Derek are a couple of characters! The rooms are basic but i've since heard that they've bought the building next door to expand & update. We are all going back to Benidorm this June but aren't staying there but will be visiting the lads for some food & a beer."
