Primavera Park Apartments Hotel

"We recently stayed at the Primavera park apartment hotel in Benidorm and really where should I start the holiday started off to a great start until we arrived at the hotel, the staff where very rude on check in not advising any extras that we could include i.e. no information about the safe, WIFI or pool times or even the maintenance work around the pool. We then headed up to our room (room 309) which looked lovely at first glance until we go settled in and set our bags down did we notice how dirty the floor and bathroom was, the balcony area was covered in cigarette ends and was thick with dirt my partner swept all the balcony and mopped it as we wanted to sit out there later to enjoy our relaxing mini break. The toilet with in the bathroom was filthy all around the toilet bowl was disgusting and the edge of the toilet had a mark which we assumed it was a scuff on the actual bowl we did not expect it to be feces marks which made both of us feel sick as this is not what anyone wants to see. In the bedroom there was cigarette burns in the curtains and the sheet on top of the bed also had cigarette burns. On each morning of our break we where woken up by very very noisy builders! which started around 8am right through to 6pm which for any holiday maker was a nightmare as we where not warned about the noise of this as we would have gone to a different resort. Both me and my partner have never received such bad customer service and such poor room standards! We chose Primavera park apartment hotel as we read all TripAdvisor comments stating how lovely the hotel is and how excellent the service this but unfortunately the hotel did not live up to the standards that everyone was saying. hotel run by thief's
"Without a shadow of doubt the worst and most unsafe hotel I have ever stayed....We and numerous guests Was Robbed (Some While They Slept)! With no sign of a break in clearly the cleaners are helping themselves to anything that's not nailed down....They even pinched all our toiletries. We reported it to the manager who basically couldn't care less, after much arguing he reluctantly rang the police who when they arrived said there was nothing they could do with no visible sign of a break in. .....TripAdvisor is a sea of the same story has ours.....Please please avoid this hellhole. ...or you will pay the price! "Room robbed on 3rd night. Staff not particularly bothered demanded police but they were reluctant until they realized how serious I was. Obviously with no forced entry it was the staff confirmed by reviews seen on TripAdvisor. Wouldn't recommended anybody goes within100 miles of this place."

Suited me just fine
"Don't know what everyone is moaning about. If you want 5 star standards then pay for a 5 star hotel. If you don't want to mix with the Spanish then don't go to Spain. If you want to stay in the midst of the modern touristy bit then don't book a hotel in the lovely Old Town For me the location was perfect, sea view to the left, mountain view to the right and lovely park in front. 5 mins to centre of the Old Town, 10/15 mins to modern tourist bit. Went self-catering so can't comment on the food or service. Accommodation was basic but adequate and for the price I paid I was perfectly satisfied. Nice pool, plenty of sun loungers, nice poolside bar."

"Would never stay here again, it's not based in the tourist bit/main square, 90% residents are Spanish, if you want to go to the main square you need to get a taxi, food is really not good at all, we paid half board yet had to get a taxi to the main square and pay to eat a meal out as after 2 nights we just couldn't eat there food, breakfast consisted of ham, cheese, croissants, bacon which was streaks of fat, eggs and skinny burnt sausage, only decent drink was water. Pool was ok but small, good kids pool. Apartments were quite clean until the third day and it was covered in ants, good 20 min walk from beach. If you want to go Benidorm research and find a hotel near the main square!"

don't go there. appalling
"Just returned form these apartments. Absolutly disgusting. Dirty rooms. Bathrooms had hair all over it. Sofa was covered in stains, didn't really want to sit on it. Satellite TV consisted of sky news and BBC world news. Oven/Toaster was so dirty it was a health hazard, so was the shower head. No cleaner at all for the week we were there.Pool didn,t get sun until after lunch.Complained to reception and was offered another room, which was no better.Never ever again. Be Warned."

stay well away from this place
"We stayed at the Primavera Aparthotel from 6th to 16th September 2011. When we arrived we were told there was no apartment available so to compensate they offered us full board. We refused this and was then told an apartment was available but would only be ready some 3 hours later, I found out that other people were told the same story they accepted the full board offer, but the food was so bad they had to eat out anyway. The apartment was filthy, bare wires were exposed in one electrical plug in the kitchen. The head board on the bed was bashed in, there was a hole in one of the doors and ceiling. The room was never cleaned, after a week I had to ask for clean towels and sheets. I found the head receptionist to be very rude, loads of British people were complaining at the time I stayed there. To be fair one member of staff was helpful and polite but unfortunately I did not get her name. The hotel caters more for the Spanish people and this is reflected by the entertainment that was on at the hotel. I don't mind basic and I firmly believe that you get what you pay for, but I do expect cleanliness, my apartment was the worst I have ever stayed in and would certainly never go near the place again. Worst hotel iv stayed in
"I stayed in the primavera park on the 2nd to the 9th of september with some family members on our arrival i found the staff very unhelpful and rude as we had a child with us we were looking for a low floor but the staff never looked into it and didnt even try move us during the week. Also three of my family memebers money and jewellery were stolen and when they approached staff they replied with there was nothing they could do the reception staff were so ignorant they barely lifted there heads as you spoke to them. The hotel is very unhygenic the sheets were not changed once during our stay when we asked for them to be changed they said they were only changed when we left. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and i would never stay there again"

Basic - Good value for money
"The apartment was basic but very adequate for our needs. Living room, bedroom, bathroom & kitchenette with fridge/freezer cooker, kettle and grill. There was also a hairdryer in the bathroom. The location is just a few minutes walk from the night life, bars, restaurants etc and about a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Being right at the end of the "new town" was ideal for us as we had the best of both worlds with New and Old town Benidorm more or less right on our doorsteps. Good sized pool, clean accommodation and helpful staff and to top it off, good price. If you go, visit the Castle Inn just down the street (calle Finestrat). It's a British famil run bar / restaurant - exceptionally friendly and make a great breakfast with a real (Nescafe) coffee. Mmmmmm."

Well worth the money
"We paid only £59 each for 7 nights. All communal areas were clean and tidy. However, first impressions of our room were bad - broken door frames & missing door, selotaped broken glass door to balcony which was difficult to slide, cracked ceiling tiles, ancient oven/grill. However, the bathroom was almost brand new with good shower & plenty hot water. We had more than enough towels which were changed every 2nd day. The beds were clean & comfortable with extra blankets for the cold nights. The kitchen had fridge, 2 electic rings as well as the oven/grill, whistling kettle, various pans, cutlery, crockery & glasses. Perfectly adequate for our needs. The view from our balcony was of the lovely park & the sea & mountain & it was a sun trap for 5 hours a day. The apartment was clean where it counted (although dirty round the edges). We got what we paid for & did not need anything more. The cheap supermarket is just 3 mins walk away & the lovely beach about 10 mins. The clientelle were mainly Spanish & very friendly. The night life didn't suit our tastes (karaoke or tribute bands) but we did appreciate our pints of strong lager for just 1 euro. If on a limited budget we would recommend these apartments. We did not try the hotel restaurant or bar."

Towel changers - not cleaners
"My wife and me and son have just cone back from a 14 night holiday at the primavera park on the 18th of april 2011. The holiday was ok but first of all the downsides:- you will be dropped off at the bottom of a hill and picked up at the same place as they say the bus cannot stop there. you will then be asked at reception for 60 euros (which you get back on leaving) but when you are not expecting it, 60 euros is a lot of money. The apartment are very basic and the only service you get is your towels changed but not your sheets and also they do no cleaning at all. It is not in a good spot as you are in between the old town and the entertainment point of town,so, either way, you are going to have to walk. the good things are is that there is lots of entertainment going on (not at the apartments as it is all spanish orientated) there is bingo, karaoke, shows discos etc etc etc and if you shop around you can get a pint on amstell for a euro, no problem, good holiday but would not go there again"
