"We visited in July with 2 kids. Yes the hotel is slightly dated but i think its ok adds to the character. I found all the staff nice. Pool area could do with a few more sun beds and new parasols but other than that brilliant. Truus and her staff are all really nice. So nice we have booked to go back next year. "

"Had 10 days here 25th June 2016 to 5th July 2016 The manager of the apartments was very unfriendly, sour faced. Everything cost money air con / WiFi we were there for a week before we had a change of towels. I asked if we could have a change earlier but they wanted 1 euro per towel to change. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pull down bed the slats were broken. It felt more like a prison camp than a place were you can relax and enjoy your hols. My advice to anyone is to stay clear of this establishment. "

"Have just been reading the reviews on this website for the Picasso Apartments, I have been going to the Picasso for over three years now and would never stay anywhere else, The Staff are all lovely, and the rooms are clean and tidy, they even have an ironing board & iron, which is a plus, (not for me as I don't iron, but Jim my partner irons everything!!) Going back again in June for a month and can't wait. If you need anything you only have to ask the staff and they will accommodate (within reason!!!) and as for clean towels you only have to ask!!!also you have all the channels you need on the TV. ie. BBC1,ITV 1, 2 & 3 Chanel 5 etc. Can't beat them. Ann Boner"

"This hotel was a disgrace. Next door to us was a couple and they had crokcroches in their room and the manager did nothing a bout it. There was no seats to sit in at the pool and in the pool the shallow end was about 6 feet high...DISGRACE"

"These apartments are the best i have stayed in Benidorm. There was 6 of us staying at the Picasso apartments and when i first got off the bus i thought oh no we have arrived at faulty towers. The sign was falling off the building and it looked really grubby from the outside, anyway we walked across the road and got inside the gate. The pool area looked clean and when we got inside the reception area looked very old fashioned. We checked in by a women that looked very crabbit but she was actually ok. When we checked in the lady gave us a form to go to our rooms and count everything and i mean everything including cutlery. After we had counted everything we had to sign the form and give back to lady on reception. The rooms were very big and spacious. The balony was huge. There was only 2 of us that shared a room and the other 4 friend shared a room on the 2nd floor we were on the 5th. I think they got the rooms mixed up as we got extra cupboard space and the room looked a lot bigger. We also had maid service twice a week with the beds changed and the towels but for our other friends they got no maid service at all. The view from the balcony....well there was no view just looking into another hotel but thats Benidorm for you. The picasso apartments are up a hill but i didnt think it was that bad as everybody said it was a nightmare. Right enough we did walk down but got a taxi back. The apartments are situated in the quiet area but it's only a 10 min walk to the square nad 5 min walk to the beach. The apartments are beside mcdonalds and burger king. The taxi's only charge 5 euro to get to the main drag. These apartments are also good for food and drink. The food is really cheap compared to other apartments and drink well you get happy hour. Also please do not lose your keys as you will not get in at night as they lock the door to get into reception. The reception is not 24 hours. The last day of our holiday the lady goes to your room and checks everything to see if you havent broke anything and then you get the deposit back. I would def recommend these apartments. We are going back on the 23rd Nov 08."

This was a bit of a rundown hotel to loo...
"This was a bit of a rundown hotel to look at, lovely on the outside but not inside, but it was very clean-however it was very comfortable and relaxed to be in. The staff were very inviting and helpful and I definitely enjoyed my stay there, plus there were a couple of good views around, from our balcony, and from the front corridor leading to the room. There was a large pool and pool table outside, with the bar just a little while away- serving up a great cocktail menu might I add, that served both food and drink- and it was only a maximum of 15 minutesâ walk away from bars, restaurants, shops, the beach even closer. The room was very minimalistic, which was ok, and had everything you'd need. Overall it was a nice place to be."

better than i expected
"i have just returned from staying at these apartments there was me my partner and teenage twins of 15 . on reading the reviews i was a bit wary about what i was going to they are about 45 min from airport we got a taxi that cost us 60 euros which was not bad as transfers were £145 in our money to book this end . when we got there we were very surprised the apartment was lovely all apartments have just been revamped it had lovely kitchen and bath room it was alll very clean all doors open up onto a big patio which the sun was on all the time .the windows in the living area alll opened up and the veiw was quiet good. we had food around the pool bar every day which is run by a lovely lady which has took over 4 weeks ago she had to ladys working for her that are english they were really nice people . the food was very cheap all english.for big breakfast it was 3.95 euros and that was for double everything . the pool was cleaned every day and apartments were cleaned once a week .were there are only 36 apartments everyone spoke to every one we made some very good friends .we went along to the square which comes alive about 10.00 every night. you have to go to the irish bar called the shamrock it is the best pub ever so friendly and music till 2 after this there are loads of other bars to go to but you must see michael jackson i am not that kean on michael jackson but this bloke is good .every where promotes sticky vicky well that was an expereince not to be missed .well any way will deff be going back to these apartments next yr so close to every thing but away from the noise . oh one last thing to the person or people that said it haad big hill you must be very lazy as hill was very slight"

Fab break would go back
"Had a great week in Picasso Aparts. When we arrived first impression was that it looked a bit grotty from outside and the missing letter P from the name made me think of Fawlty Towers but not so inside.Basic rooms but large and clean could have done with a change of towels midweek but then you get what you pay for.I personally would not go back to that area of benidorm but it was lively for my two daughters 16 and 22.Handy for the beach, very warm in the room which made sleep a bit difficult so hire a fan right away as numbers were limited."

"we read the reviews just before we flew out and we were dreading it after some of the things that have been said. When we arrived we had to pay 100 euros deposit, but we knew this before we went out which was fine. We got allocated on the 11th floor, and we were very surprised, the apartments are huge with a massive balcony. Nothing to fault in the place in the slightest. The only things we could say was that the cleaners did not come in at all the week we were there, you had to take your own rubbish down, and we didn't have clean towels and had to buy our own toilet roll, as we only had one left for us for the week. We read reviews that the pool does not get the sun, that is certainly wrong, as it had the sun the whole day. The pool was rather small though. There was no entertainment in the apartments which was not a problem, as the reason you go to Benidorm is because there is that much to do. These apartments were very central. I would recommend these, and i would certainly go back to them."
