La Era Park - More like Filthy Towers
"Just come back from this Hotel and were unhappy with the standard of cleanliness of the pool area and the rooms. We found Hair of every variety on the bedroom and bathroom floor which had been there for god knows how long. When you walked bare foot your feet were black (but not as black as the bath!!!!). We received fresh towels twice a week and 1 x change of sheets. One time we were in the apartment when the maid came to clean-she was out of there in less than One minute.
Would have to also say that the position of the Hotel is ok but would not recommend this for females walking back at night as it is sited off track. Additionally it is very noisy till 5am which is fine but gets waring after a while."

oh what a nite
"we stayed at la era park in june of 06 its not family oriantated its more for stag and hen parties and the 24 hour bar next door dosent do it any favours as we soon found out. when a large group of lads were stripping off naked and jumping in the pool, they had been drinking non stop so they didnt seem to care if there were children present or not. the staff were friendly and any trouble was delt with it was clean but very basic but i personly would not stay there again not with two children anyway"

Not for families
"I stayed here last summer for 2 weeks with my family. The apartments were in a great location 10 mins walk from the (square) centre and the beach, which is excellant. The apartments were basic but fairly clean. My problem with this holiday was with the amount of stag & hen parties that were ongoing all through the day and all night. It was just like 18-30 holiday. I do not recommend this holiday for families although i would recommend it for a stag or hen night!!!!"

"We stayed at the la era park for one week and found it ok apart from when i hired the remote for the tv our son started surfing the channels for cartoons and to our horror on came a hardcore pornographic film turned out this is on 24 hours a day some warning shouldhave been given from the desk"

"Arrived at the hotel and was welcomed by the manager took no time at all to get checked in and up to our room (1st floor) which was great as i hate heights, room was lovely and tidy very nice, also had 24 hour reception which was great for leaving our key and collecting it into the night!!!
Had a bar and pool only downside to this was the bar closed at 11pm and the pool was cold when you first got in to it
It was a little walk away from the beach and centre however if your looking in the shops on the way it was ok!
We would have preffered to be somewhere closer to the centre as it was a bit daunting walking home late at night away from the centre as there was just me and my boyfriend ok if your in a group though!!!
We were very wary about our valuables but we put them in a safety deposit box and it was very secure. didnt have a problem at all we had a balacony which was lovely very big so we spent a lot of our nights drinking on our balcony
Lovely hotel would stay again if there was a few more of us for walking back at night"

Drunken Roudy Stag Parties
"Went on a hen weekend - apartments ok but full of drunken english stag and hen parties.
Very dangerous as no security by the pool and lots of 'play fighting' - glasses and beer bottles all around the pool area.
Not somewhere I'd recommend - especially not for children as some of the antics by the pool were entirely inappropriate and not behaviour I'd like my children to see."

Will be going back (with a group of friends)
"My friend and I stayed at La Era Park early March 2004 and were pleasantly surprised as most of the places we looked at were disgusting and very run down. We moved in, in the middle of the night and the staff were very helpful and friendly and helped us with our Spanish.
We stayed on the 4th floor (as families are normally situated on the 1st 2nd and 3rd floor) The apartment had one bedroom, with twin beds, small kitchen/bar area with electric hobs, fridge, kettle etc, a sofa bed and cable tv (which you have to pay extra for) The apartments were very bright and comfortable and warm (which we really appreciated as it was freezing for most of out stay) There was a swimming pool and and a bar downstaires but we didnt actually use any of these and a laundry service was available for an extra charge.
The apartments are conveniently situated, near the old town and also within walking distance from the beach and the Square where all the bars and nightclubs are and there is also a big supermarket at the back (Mercadona), where food etc is very cheap in comparison to the UK (which is great when you're on a tight budget)
The apartments were cleaned regularly and were also very cheap. I would reccommend La Era Park to younger/independant travellers or groups of friends who want to stay somewhere nice and cheap in Benidorm. We both enjoyed our stay there and would definately go back again (with a group of friends)"

"Stayed at these apartents in March - they were filthy, no maid service, no clean towels and very noisy. We arrived after midnight and had to start cleaning the loo!!!!! If you want clean towels you have to pay for them.
Not advisable to anyone to stay there, unless you don't mind a dump!!!!"

Era Park Apartments (Benidorm)
I live in Alicante and often go to Benidorm for a day or weekend. My partner and I went for two days and stayed at the Era Park Aparpments, they where situated in the center of town with easy access to both the old town and the beach area. The apartments where made up of one twin bedroom Lounge (with sofabed) kitchenette and bathroom. It also had a huge terrace with table and chairs. It was well worth a visit."

Great location rooms and staff
"Stay at Era Park every Xmas and New Ŷear. Comfortable beds good heating and plenty utensils if you want to cook on the halogen hob. Huge Supermarket nearby, ask friendly reception staff. We are an older couple but like a lively evening. Walk into Old Town 5-10 mins, we usually walk to New Town 15 mins or a little more, depending how far you want to go. We usually get a cab back 5-6 Euros. 3 or 4 great British Bars down the street. If you want good British food the St James is great. Ask at reception for remote for TV some English language film channels and News, no charge."
