very very poor hotel
"Stayed in Hotel Rosamar end of June 2016 food awful and cold rooms very dated and dingy not enough sunbeds about 150 for 900 guests do the maths been in a couple of poor hotels in the past and am pretty easily pleased believing you get what you pay for but the Hotel Rosamar excels those if you are on a high floor you will spend most of your holiday waiting for lifts we ate out on a few occasions as food is so bad very much the same every day but still poor even breakfasts are bad the wastage of food returning uneaten to the kitchen tells its own story. On the plus side the hotel is central for all that's going on in Benidorm I would not stay there again and would not recommend the Rosamar."

Worst family hotel we have stayed in
"Kids/adult entertainment was very poor and even worse when there was wet weather.food choices was not very good and had to take son to McDonald's every day, could not get served at bar in nights as only 2 people working the bar and some times waiting over 20min to get served, bar staff would not serve my 8year old son as he had a Barcelona football top on which they didn't like so my son could not get served, I will never consider this hotel again"

value for money break
"We have stayed here before in 2007,its still clean and comfortable. Our room was clean and tidy,a tv With remote and 3 english channels,bbc1,itv1 and channel 5...The only fault with the room is that you can hear next door,[common problem with hotels]Being a fussy eater there was plenty of variety, especially cakes and trifle..lol.My husband had duck salmon tuna ,all of the meats [not at once]with everything edible.Breakfast was abit chaotic, but once settled theres,no problem.Try to get a table done by the girls as they seem to care what they are doing, the male waiters seem lethargic/miserableThe entertainment was mostly dancing, and the occational variety show.We would go over the road to peds bar, then go to see different shows in the area.Elliot did the activies, shooting, archery, etc but not many takers. As its in a good level position, its suitable for all,and would use again..chris talbot"

"We was a group of 8 ladies in our 40's, hotel is definately focused at the elderly and all the entertainment is all aimed for them, which was ok as the hotel is situated quite centrally to bar's, eateries, shops and the beach. Rooms were clean and although there was 3 of us sharing 1 we had adequate room. Clean linen and towels daily. Food was fantastic with a great choice at Evening Meal, the only downfall was the evening meal did not include drinks of any sort, not even water. Beautiful pool, just a shame that it was that cold it took over half an hour to get in, inbetween screaming, and once in u had to get out after 5 minutes as you was turning blue. The one bad weather day we had we thought we would use the indoor pool, but they charge extra, which I don't feel is right when you are staying there. There was also extra charges to get the remote from reception so you could watch t.v in the room, and also to get an outside telephone line from your room. We saw some trouble at the bars and beleive it or not it was the bouncers that were the cause of it, so don't for one minute think they are there for your protection, as they were the ones that got arrested. Enjoyable break, but wouldn't go back to either Benidorm or the hotel."

"We were a group of 8 ladies in our 40's, and was half board, Hotel reception very clean although on checking in there was only 1 female receptionist who was very rude to a guest who had problems with his key not working. Food overall was fantastic, and a great choice at evening meal, the only downfall was that there was no drinks included, not even water, you had to buy them seperately. Rooms were adequate, although to watch t.v you had to pay extra for the remote and also pay to get an outside line on the telephone in your room. Rooms were cleaned daily with new linen and towels. The hotel was in a central location, near to both bar's, eateries, shops and the beach. The hotel entertainment was only for the elderly, comprising of waltz,s most nights, hence why our group went out every night. The swimming pool was absolutely freezing, it took over half an hour to edge ur way in and once in after 5 minutes you turned blue and had to get out. We had one bad day of weather and thought we would use the indoor pool, but again you had to pay extra for this. Overall good hotel, comfortable enough, no noise from pub,s nearby and great food."

"Just returned from 3 night's at the Hotel Rosamar celebrating ours and also our friends 40th Wedding Anniversary's Rosamar was brilliant, Staff very polite and attentive, room very clean, and room cleaned every day also clean towels daily, excellent food in the restaurant, hot, varied & plentiful. Central for all the night spots & ten minutes to the beach. Uncle Peds Bar just across the road is very reasonable for beer at 1 Euro pint, and Sinatra's is well worth a vist for the great cabaret acts. We all had a fabulous visit and would reccommend this hotel, and can't wait to visit again soon."

Staying at the Rosamar Benidorm
"I went to the Rosamar in october 2008 with my two childred, my parents and also my sister. We had stayed at the Rosamar twice before although the last time was a few years ago. Overall the hotel is of a decent standard and I would say better thank most other 3 star hotels in the area. The food was decent with a good choice at each meal and the frinks were cheap. The pool area was also nice and my son really enjoyed playing in the kiddies section. On the downside, the air condition didn't seem to work properly making the rooms very hot especially at night when you are trying to sleep. Whilst the rooms are very clean they are now beoming rather dated and a bit scruffy. The drains also smell a little bit in the bathroom. We also hired a fridge and had no end of trouble with it but they did refund us the money. Overall we all had a really nice time, the weather was fantastic and would more than likely use the hotel in the future. "

This was our second visit to the Rosamar...
"This was our second visit to the Rosamar hotel and we were really looking forward to our holiday. We were not disapointed. On arival (2200 hrs) we were allocated a room on the 14th floor but as my partner was not good with heights (an understatement) we asked for a room on a lower floor and by 1230 we had a room on the 2nd floor. Staff were friendly, polite and always helpful. The food was excellent with several themed evenings. The pool area was lovely and very clean. The pool bar staff were good and always a good laugh. Although the entertainment is probably aimed more at Spannish guests there was always something on. The only down side were the lifts which did get very busy especially at meal times. After reading some of the reviews on the Rosamar we were a bit concerned but we certainly would recomend the Rosamar we had a magic holiday. "
