"Think your perception of this accommodation depends on how lucky/unlucky you are with stag/hen parties. Personally I liked the place our group consisted of 2 adults in their 40's,2 in their 20',6 y/o child and a 20mnth old toddler. We were on the 11 floor which is a good height to avoid some of the noise. Pool area gets busy and was disappointed couldn't use it before 10 am however the small bar is fine if limited in choice. Only really had bad behaved lads once and I suspect they were asked to leave as they disappeared after 24 hrs, Rooms clean and large enough for purpose with large balcony.Rooms had kettle, fridge hot plate and oven also small wet room for washing any clothes. Beach and town are 5 mins wlk with supermarkets bars etc within 1 min walk. You can buy tickets for most attractions at the reception for less than the gate price of the attractions themselves. As we were a family we didn't have to pay the 100 euro deposit for the rooms I would use this place again "

nice place to stay if your a drunk or slapper.
"arrived at the halley on the 28 of august as a family,it was lovely from the monday untill friday, thats when all the drunks turn up. we could,nt get near the pool not that we wanted to because the swearing was from the gutter, not to mention grown men coughing there lungs up and spitting it the pool, glass and bottles and litter surrounded them.we had to take our grand-daughter out for four days to avoid teenagers and adults who were there for one thing beer and more beer and to stay drunk the whole time and abuse anybody and everybody.the only good point is that the staff are great and will do anything they can for you,it not there fault the manager will let stag party,s drunks, and any other yob stay at the halley."

"my partner and i just arrived back from a weeks stay at the halley apartments. the apartment itself was very basic but clean all the same, we had asked for a high up floor which we got (considering it was easter) as we had heard that it can be abit noisy at night, but it is benidorm afterall but it wasnt as noisy as we though infact the only noise to wake me up was the sound thunder on the first night. i would however advise you to take a travel kettle with you as 1 isnt provided and maybe a fan as there is no a/c in the room and it can be quite warm at night. if you have walking difficulties i would advise you to get a room on the ground floor as we hired a wheelchair for the week and found it hard to get into the lift, you can hire a wheelchair for around 20 euros + deposit from amigo 24, it is advisable to hire a wheelchair or mobility scooter as benidorm is a big place with a few steep hills infact going to the hotel there is a small inclimb but its not that bad, the beds have got to be some of the most comfortable i have slept on. for going out i would recommend the gallowgate bar for food and drink they do a brilliant scottish breakfast (and was the only place i could find black pudding). if you are only wanting a snack there is a kfc at the bottom of the corner. the hotel is situated in a place where everything you need is close by so you dont really need to walk anywhere. the guys on reception are brilliant and friendly so dont be afraid to ask for anything. i will be returing to benidorm and will be staying here again, it might not be luxury but all you need is comfort and this place it brilliant"

"We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Halley Apartments. Firstly let me say we have been coming here for several years, mostly 4 times a year and have always loved it. We always ask for the same room on top floor, and have been delighted management have mostly been able to accomodate us. This holiday has been a massive disappointment, and we will never return again. The first thing being the room needs a lot of attention, mostly the bathroom, but it just needs mentioning. Our main complaint is the terrible disgraceful noise, foul language and the rabble of dreadful youths and girls etc. that the Halley are encouraging to spend 2-3 days at a time, The last night we were there 27th June 2008, was so frightening we were woken up at 3 am in the morning with some youths standing in our lounge drunk and disorderley, we have no idea how they got there, smoking and laughing, we asked the night porter if he had given these "drunks" the pass key, he couldn't speak english, so we don't know now how they got in our room. Anyway, we think you have made a terrible mistake in letting these young people come for short periods, it's up to you what you do with your building, but we will not come again, and I would never recommend it to anyone."

"Although at night the mozies did bite (my fault) i found this apt block to be very good the staff were very friendly and helpful, i took my son and daughter-in-law with me, there is a good hotel bar with happy hour (2 4 1) stunning!!, good sized pool for adults abd the little ones, the rooms are of a good size and are clean and tidy, the bathroom was clean and had the towels changed every 3 days (also bedding), the beds were very comfortable, i only had one minor complaint no one explained that you had to pay a deposit for room key (60 euros refundable, also rent for key to safe, and a hire charge for the tv remote, as tv does not work without it) the monies paid (which i did not mind paying) were very low, in all i would not hesitate in staying at the Halley Apartments again, hopefully in 2009 with my granddaughter and grandson, 8 out of 10 not bad. Good value for money
"We stayed at the Halley apartments in June 2007 with 2 other families 12 in total. We were all abit aprehensive because some of the reviews werent good plus I had heard about a break-in before we travelled. I was really pleased when we arrived the rooms (2 bedroom) were quite big with a nice big balacony. We had fresh towels maybe 3 times in the week. The maid service wasnt bad she changed the sheets once, the night before we left which I found bit strange. The pool area was great when we were there as there were not too many people at the start of the week - the sun shines all day at the pool area which was very clean. The only downfall of these apartments is the lift broke a few time and you had to take the stairs which is a bit much if you have kids and are on a high floor but they were fixed pretty quick. Also there was no pool bar or snack bar opened. This wasnt a problem for us as it give us an excuse to bring our own drinks and food - we even had our own mini bar-b-que. Also there is a few great bars just outside plus a sub-way and many more restaurants within walking distance. Would def use these apartments again staff were very friendly."

"Having read reviews I was a bit worried as to what we would find. We could not find fault with our accommodation, it was a lot bigger a lot better equipped than we thought it would be. The situation of the Halley apartments is excellent for the beach and you are about five minutes from all the night life. There was no restaurant but you could eat your own food around the pool. The staff were always available if you needed them. We would definitely stay there again."

"We arrived on Saturday 23rd June and stayed for 1 week. The Apartments are in a quiet area, but with quite a few eating places around. We liked the Stretford End (Manchester United fans!), lovely basic food and run by very friendly people. Our studio apartment was spotlessly clean, with the towels being changed three times during our weeks stay. The Apartments have a nice pool with plenty of sunbeds available. Benidorm itself, the beach is beautiful, but there are a lack of public toilets anywhere in the town, if you need the loo you must buy a drink in a bar, only customers can use the loos!"

"Arrived last week to an absolute shambles. The reception area was a building site, workmen everywhere, wires hanging from the ceiling, dust and debris littering the floor. We arrived with our ten month old baby so we were not at all impressed. Room we were given was filthy with no fridge, I mean no fridge and we were staying self catering. We ended up moving ourselves to accommodation elsewhere as staff and manager so unhelpful. Thankfully hotel we are now in is excellent, Hotel Nereo, but we are now out of pocket. Definitely do not recommend Halley apartments to anyone."

Very Cheap but Very Cheerful!
"Myself and two friends stayed in a one bedroomed apartment and we had a great stay! There was plenty of room for three people ~ the apartment on a whole was very roomy as was the balcony. The apartments were very clean and while fairly basic we still managed to cook a lovely meal one night and had all the needed equipment! The pool area is good as well, with it being in the sun all day. The location is also excellent, being a short walk to the beach and main night life and it has a real good assortment of bars and shops rouond about. The staff at the reception are lovely and friendly and offer to watch over your bags if you are a late departure ~ they also let you use a bathroom and shower facility if you want to freshen up. As these apartments were also so very cheap, I really cannot fault them. They would be improved by the opening of a bar or snack bar in the reception though. Would most definately stay here again!"
