"A group of 4 seniors booked with ON THE BEACH.We booked the Gemelos 2 apts in Benidorm. We all stayed there in January this year, and liked the location, at that time we booked with another company, we then had to collect keys from Castilla Hotel, a short walk away, that was no problem. On this occasion, there was no mention of where to collect keys. Iprinted of 15 pages of instructions, but still no mention of key collection. With staying there before i thought it would have been the same hotel. On arrival at resort, which was 1.30 am I asked the driver, where do we get keys. He told us at Alpha apts. We went there, and was told No there not here. The man was helpful, he let us sit down while he made a few phone calls. He then got a map out and told us our keys was at Buena Vista, which was a long way. Two of us got in taxi , the other two sat on street corner, we finally got keys. It cost us 10 Euros each way. We finally got to bed at 4am.We will never ever book with this company again. Why cant they tell you where to collect keys. Two of our group are disabled, We met others in same apts, who went through the same, one old lady having to sleep on someones sofa. Be warned.DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY."

Do not go to Gemelos IV
"Our first trip abroad AND IT WAS A SHAMBLES!. Booked via CO-OP Holidays who nissued a very poor iternery. We were not told where to get the keys, which took more than two ours to resolve Apartment 4A in Gemelos IV was shabby, with bad electrical sockets, grubby decoration, no washing machine nor airconditioning despite both being promised. Will go the Benidorm again, but will never go to the Gemelos II-IV. Do not waste yur money."

Another Benidorm Holiday
"Just returned from another holiday in Benidorm. Stayed at the Gamelos iv apartments in the centre of town. Apartment was spacious, clean and secure, booked through a local agent.
Found a great little bar just around the corner on the Yellow Brick Road, The Welcome Inn, run by Alan and Sylvia. If you're looking for good food, good company and a warm welcome, call in and see them. We were in most nights for either the soaps, or the football. Our holiday just wouldn't hace been the same without our regular visits to see Alan and Sylvia. Can't wait to get back next year!!"

Been to Benidorm before so knew the area...
"Been to Benidorm before so knew the area but not stayed in these apartments before. Our friends lived in these apartments for a year so we thought they would be fine for us. Wrong!
On picking up the key for us, my friend discovered that the room hadn't been cleaned from previous guests and dirty sheets and towels littered the apt as well as bits of food and rubbish. We had to wait a couple of hours for them to sort it out.
The apt we were given was in a poor state of repair with handles falling off drawers and cupboards, dirty looking walls, filthy shutters and the bathroom needed updating. There was no washing machine although I understood there would be and none of us dared lock the bathroom door as it was too hard to open again!
Because it's mainly residential, there is no noise from drunken youths which was good but don't try to play volley ball in the empty swimming pool because the security guard appears from nowhere to tell you off (in Spanish)!
On the plus side, the pools were lovely and the sunbathing area is kept very clean and tidy. There is no bar or any other facility here so don't expect anything. Apparently the block next door (Gemelos 4) is kept to a much better standard.
Would I come back to Benidorm? Yes! Would I stay in the Gemelos 2? No! But I would stay in the Gemelos 4!"

Just arrived back from Benidorm. This is...
"Just arrived back from Benidorm. This is the sixth time for the Gemelos apartments (2/4).
Love it, situated in the center with bars restaurants & shops all around it.
Great fish and chips from Sharkeys, Kebab shop opposite as well as a Chinese and Indian, also loads of cafes for you breakfasts etc. It is not in a noisy area though and this month (May) most places were closing by 1am. But 5 minutes around the corner the place is just coming alive!
1 & 2 bed roomed apartments are available, some of the 2 bed roomed apartments have also 2 bathrooms.
Facilities:- Oven, 2 hobs, microwave oven, washer, fridge/freezer. Coffee machine, iron and ironing board. Loads of crockery and cutlery too. You have to pay 100euro deposit on your room and it is returned the day of departure or the day before if you have an early flight.
There are 24 hour porters and are very strict with adhering to the rules of the apartments and pool area.
Note: Gemelos 2 Torre (tower2) has no sun beds, but a large swimming pool and a huge paddling pool for the kids.
Maids are in only once a week, so no being disturbed on your lie-ins.
Rubbish chutes on every floor. But bottles and glass have to be disposed of outside in the special containers.
Plenty of hot water. if you donât leave your shower till after 7pm. then two of you may struggle for a bath each. Beninter agents are just up the road and bend over backwards to help. Iâm booked again for October!"

Short and to the point: These are well...
"Short and to the point:
These are well kept and secure apts with porter there most hours. Kept clean and quiet.
Location was great... less than 5 mins to the main strip and 5 mins to the beach.
No bar at the pool as alot of these apts are lived in by locals and that makes it all the better..... no mad young Englishmen causing bother.
Great value for money too.... 350euros for a week (per room)
Not sure if I would go back to Benidorm, but if I did Gemelos IV would be a good place to stay.
