all inclusive TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
"Not a very Merry Xmas at Flamingo Playa part hotel..we were prepared to eat and drink and be entertained at sister hotel,as we had done our home work before booking..avoided the stag and hen parties because of time of year...would use these apartments again but on a self catering basis.nice and roomy clean and staff great to deal with.BUT.....food at flamingo Benidorm very poor..menus read well but fail to resemble edible HOT food.and the in between snacks are the left overs of the last meal kept dangerously warm..therefore we used most of our spending money on self catering."

A good family holiday enjoyed by all!
"Arrived on Tuesday at lunch time to the hotel and were one of the lucky families who were able to get into our room. First impression of the room was good, clean and spacious not at all what I expected for all-inclusive as these were self catering apartments to. The reception was always manned and so was the bar, we had clean sheets and towels every other day and our rubbish taken too. Were able to get a safe for our valuables, but beware don't think that the top shelf is a a safe place like i did and then knock the key down the gap at the top of which you need the maintenence man to help retrieve :-/, beware of the wardrobe doors as they may come loose and fall from the runner but i think that was just me being heavy handed. We were all hungry so went to the restaurant which we were very dissapointed with the quality and variety of food, at this point we then thought OMG what have we booked here, so as not to put you of holiday makers are able to use all the facilities at the sister hotel just down the road road Flamingo Benidorm of which there is a big restaurant with good quality and variety of food, snacks and drinks through out the day. There are 3 pools in total 2 at the Flamingo Playa and 1 at the Benidorm of which the front pool at the Playa was never overcrowded so no need to put your towels out at 7am in the morning. We visited the beach 10 mins walk down the road which was nice but extremely hot, visited Aqualand which you can purchase tickets from the receptionist at a discount price, beware the water at the park is sea water rather than chlorine like our pools in england but don't let you put you of it is a excellent water park to visit. Also we went on a jeep Safari with Marco Paulo excursions, All in all a nice chilled family holiday another country to check of our list of places to holiday, "

BRILLIANT apartments and benidorm is great!
"Came here to stay on march for for a weeks hoilday. Wasn't sure as to where the apartments where and was worrying a bit, i've been to benidorm three times before coming here, the other apartments i've stayed in where all in the same area, these apartments weren't. Though we soon figured how to get to where we wanted. We where Self-catering, as we always are. So haven't a clue as to what the food is like, i think you actually have to go to another apartment-down a wee bit from there to eat and so on. There jointed apartments/similar name. Room- i was so shocked as to what are room was like, a full kitchen, so modern! place looked lovely! we never cooked in the kitchen, but everything looked up to scratch. Had two sofa's/think they where maybe pull out beds as well? in the livingroom they where so comfy/soft. We watched a bit of tv the nights we where too tired to be out and about, didnt have to pay for it either and had good english channels on it too! Shower was great! towels can be changed when needed. bed was comfy as well! only thing that i was a bit disappointed about was the patio doors, they wouldn't lock and i dont like to complain, so i dealt with it. Another downside, though not the hotels fault, the people above us where terribly noisy, which i wasnt a bit amused about, i know you cant be completely silent, though they where like elephants up above, banging, could hear them walking about, moving things, shouting(partying) though never happened again as a few people had complained about them (group of boys) staff- seemed friendly enough and not rude at all. downstairs bit, had a few pool tables, a hockey table, two computers, a bar and tables and a platform, but seemed very quiet down there and not up to much, hard to get a drink downstairs through the day, though not a big problem. This only was opened to a certain time,(not very late) maybe this changes in the summer time. Was never outside laying on the sun beds or in the pool,(not warm enough) pool looked lovely and so did the outside bit. At the reception the sell some bars and sweets lol so if a bit peckish in the way in at night you could get a few things. And at the front door theres machines(to get drinks) bottles and cans. And if you come out the front of the apartments turn right and walk straight, you should see the apartments there jointed with, we went into it a few times and its lovely! its a better version than the flamingo playa. The other apartments is always so lively, a lot of stuff going on in it. A lot more computers and you can go on them any time of day or night, had a massive sitting area and stage. So always a lot of entertainment going on to keep everyone happy. If you walk straight from there joint apartments then right you should see the supermarket, where you can get almost everything. if you keep walking straight from there you'll find everything you need. Its a longer walk to the beach and so on but if you keep walking am sure you'll find it. (The water-park) which we went to on july last year is a must go! was brilliant, everyone who loves water il love it from young to old. We booked online before we went and it would be also cheaper that way. Food places-If you ever see the other flamingo(though its a good bit away) its near the tropical bar, theres a chinese up that road its called (the wok) best chinese in town, bit pricey. Other chineses rotten comparsion to it. We ate out of burgerking, mcdonalds and kfc(theres to kfcs) we sort of stick to the food that we know what its gonna be like. though this part of benidorm is so british you shouldnt have a problem. Beach is nice, though in the summer-time you do have to pay for the sun loungers, when here in march theres barely a sun lounger in sight. Entertainment, morgans tavern/valetines, both good. Drinks also pricey, If you have anymore questions to ask email me [---] your very welcome to ask anything. "

Had a brill time here
"I stayed at these apartments in September for a week a/i and had a brilliant time, the reception, bar and night duty staff were all friendly. Rooms spacious and clean, towels changed everyday if needed and rooms changed twice in the week. The entertainment needs a bit of attention but overall it was fantastic value for money. I'm booking for next year at these apartments. "

"We returned from Flamingo playa on the 23rd August and to be honest we cant fault it. Apartment was clean , plenty of room for 2 adults and one messy teenager. Air con a must though , you just pay a deposit of 10 euros for the remote control ( but get that back no probs). The hotel is a good 20 mins walk to the beach and it is up a hill ( im disabled so that was a problem )a taxi cost just 5 euros , a bus up to the old part of benidorm is just 1.20 euros. Swimming pool in the Flamingo playa is a little small but there are 2 more, one is a large pool at their sister hotel ( where the main restaurant is ). Entertainment , well, they tried but mainly bingo.open the box, parrot shows... pretty standard for benidorm"

"been to this hotel 3 times now and when we arrived we heard a few people saying it was the worst holiday ever. we booked through on the beach and were told we had to pay for air con, if u book with thompsons or thomas cook this is included however i got it free anyway. the rooms r basic but spacious. it caters for self catering so theres a cooker and fridge even though we were ai. theres a choice of 3 pools at this time of year which is great as sometimes 1 may be too busy. the hotel is a good walk to the beach, the entertainment at nite only lasts 1 hr and did not appeal to us. we met loads of nice people and had a relaxing time but this hotel is not for everyone. we found the reception staff very helpful. the only complaint is the pool could have been cleaned more. our horrible 'hotel' we got put in !
"we have been going benidorm for years and we love it i go with my nan, grandad and mum. we had a night mare at first when are travel company booked us in this hotel and didn't tell us till we arrived at another hotel in Benidorm. well that all got sorted and we turnt up and thought it dnt look too bad, we had a look round the pool was so small we couldn't believe it . we were booked all inclusive so we had to go to another hotel down the road to use their facilities and to watch their entertainment. the rooms were satisfactory and the lifts that we had to use as we were staying on one of the top floors broke dwn every 5 mins this was not my ideal holiday along with the trouble had at the start. one morning we decided we would try breakfast here well .... there was hardly any and it was very well done ; we wasn't impressed ! However i found some of the staff were nice and polite."

"just come back from 2 weeks all inclusive staying at flamingo playa apartments and friends stayed in the hotel .. cant fault anything at all the apartments were spacious . clean and bright well decorated a fully equiped kitchen .tv .air con towels changed everyday .. we could have breakfast and dinner in the apartment resturant and all drinks or go to the main hotel .. full english breakfast everyday.. roast beef and yorkshires on sunday .. lamb and mint sauce dinners or pork and apple sauce roasts plenty of variety to suit everyone could not fault at all but was disappointed with snacks as only cheese and ham toasties available with lettuce tomatoes cucumber and onions lol .. would definately go back again // but word of warning do not stay at the vistamar apartments down the road as police were there most nights of our holidays lots of trouble there :-)"
