Bristol Park Hotel

"Stayed for 7 days on half board basis. This is a spanish hotel so you must be aware it is not uk 'abroad'...
Food excellent ,accomadation good and clean, maid service every day.
Service in reception, bar and resturant top class.
Pool not heated so cool in April, and the kids club not running until high season. Entertainment 'spanish' so do not expect disco night after night.
Would consider a return visit without hesitation"

give it amiss
"We stayed in this hotel 17/12/05 - 24/12/05 & really recommend giving this hotel a miss.
Sorry guys, but our views are not the best.
The restaurant did not open at the specified times. The food was terrible. There were only 5 uk couples in the hotel over this period, and they mainly provided for the 60 odd spainish couples that were staying. The receptionists although friendly were unhelpful & barely spoke english. The maids were pounding on the door by 8am. Apparently they were on earlier shifts over the xmas periods. The lift only holds 3 people & when there are children pressing the buttons on ever floor.. well, you can guess..i should think that at high season this would be abissmall. On check out, we had to carry the cases down 6 flights of stairs!!! The one good thing though... you can use any of the hotels in this chain.... happy holidays & happy new year xx"

Happy Holiday in Hotel Bristol Park
"We have just returned from a week in Benidorm ,staying at the Hotel Bristol Park. It is situated in the old town ,just off the main street.
The hotel is small with only six floors and has a very tiny lift which only takes four people or two people with suitcases. This causes a queue to form ,usually at meal times. The reception area is very unimpressive but has two settees situated at the window to watch the world go by.There is a large bar with a small dance floor leading out to a very small pool and sun terrace. The bedrooms are basic but clean with maid service every day. There is satelite television and air conditioning. It was quite cool when we stayed in March, but the room was well heated with a thermostatically heated radiator. The television unfortunately only showed two English speaking programmes and the hotel lacked the provision of a television lounge. The restaurant was large and bright and the food was very good . Breakfast was cooked or continental with plenty of fruit to choose from.Lunch consisted of a different soup each day, all types of salads ,meat or fish ,vegetables etc ,desserts, ice cream or fruit. Dinner at night was of the same standard. To be recommended."

loved the hotel
Just read through some of the reviews and thought that the one from jackie was so far fetched. I have stayed at the hotel on 3 occasions and have only been home for 4 weeks and have already booked for next year. The hotel is in the ideal location, the rooms are cleaned every day, and the staff are so friendly especially hermon the bar tender. As for the food just because you have paid to go full or half board doesnt have to mean you eat there all the time and I didnt have a problem with the food, part of being on the holiday is exploring different places to eat the hotel is a back up."

"Just got back from the Bristol Park Hotel in Benidorm on the 31st July 2004.This hotel is in a perfect location and hotel itself is lovely.Food lovely and plenty of sunbeds!!!I would definitely go back to this hotel but would ask for a room at the back as the front is on a main road and would be rather noisy at night."

"Hotel was great -friendly staff, near to all amenities close to the own town as well for something different, food wasn't bad. Just one problem-couldn't get much rest because of the 24 hour noise from the traffic. Surely in an hotel in such a location double or secondery glazing on the front of the hotel should have been implemented before now"

When can we go again?
"We went to the Bristol Park Hotel to celebrate my parents Ruby wedding. Our party included young children, teenagers, slightly under middle-aged parents and grandparents. We all thought the whole package was fantastic! The Hotel was situated in the perfect place-close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms were basic but, cleaned often with all facilitys in good working order. The food was delicious at all times. Excellent choices of all meals catering for many tastes. The staff were very friendly and always eager to help or just chat to make sure you were enjoying your holiday. To be honest, we can't think of anything bad to say, except the holiday was so great, it went far too fast.Poppy. Aged 8, says, "It was the best holiday we have ever had!"Lee. Aged 7, says, "I will always remember my friend, Paco (the waiter) and wish Mummy could make food that nice!""

REALLY GOOD HOTEL
"The hotel is located very close to the old town - a 50 yard walk. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard. We went early March so the town was not very busy. Most of the guests in the hotel were Spanish. However, all meals were of a very high standard, and they catered for English tastes as well as local tastes. We went full board, and each meal included water and wine. Freshly baked bread was always available. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Only drawback was that the hotel was quiet during afternoon and evening and lacked decent entertainment suitable for tourists from the UK. But then again this didn't matter as we were in Benidorm with loads of entertainment on the doorstep.
Would definitely go back."

"sorry but we wont be going back to this hotel ..the rooms were spotless but that was about it...location good...staff very sullen...food very average and very greasy with very tough meat..as for the breakfast it was total rubbish unless you like raw sausages, eggs and bacon swimming in grease..uurrgh..but the best of all was our balcony.it consisted of 3 10 ft high whitewashed walls like a prison excercise yard to be exact..entertainment was the same every ,paco on the organ singing spanish songs very badly..also the kids club goes on until midnight...do not go full board as we did thats if you are unlucky enough to stay in this no star hotel..plus the staff are rascist against the english..especially the fella on nightshift..worst of all was the lack of music in the whole place like a morgue..had to buy a radio the second day we were ther for around the pool"
