10 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
"Seven of us stayed here on a stag weekend in two, two bedroomed apartments. We had no complaints what so ever and the facilities were excellent. Centrally located and close to beach and not too near to noisey night clubs. This is a family hotel with kids and parents of all ages so if you intend to get bladdered and make a nuisance of yourselves upsetting other people don't bother! Would certainly recommend this place."

We Like it and we had a 6 mnt old baby with us
"We had a nice time it was a bit loud betweem 2am and 4am with people coming in from stag nights and hen nights but that's what you get in any resort the hotel is located about 5min away from the beach, there is 4 pools one big family pool indoor pool and a toddler pool and a nice little pool out the way from children and just below the outside bar, there is games and internet accsess on the ground floor the hotel is on a hill but is nice to walk up with children in prams i would say its in a perfect location nice garden areas and pools nice we went HB the restaurant was nice meals was really good great choice. even tho people was picky with the meals but hey your in spain not blackpool there was sea food hot and cold english meals cold and hot meats nice sweets plenty for vegitarians the entertainments not much on the night but who stays in we loved benidorm first time we will go again hotel staff nice friendley really welcome children, look after you we got a great apartment you get cots in your room extra bags for nappys recomend for familys with young children

First Time In New Town
"First time staying at the levante club apartments.
when you arrive you have to give in 60 euros as a deposit per apartment but dont worry as you get it back on your last night. also the saftey deposit box is about 8 euros not refundable.
The rooms were imaculate and for 5 peole staying we had two twin rooms with single beds and one couch bed. would reccomend if you want peace and quiet plus the beach is only 5 minutes walk away and visable from the hotel balcony. The best local pub across the road is The White Horse! which is a british pub. acts usually start around half 8 everywere. ( both old town and new town) Buses are only 1 euro to travell anywhere and only takes 5 minutes ride to the old town.
The meals at the hotel were OK but next time we will only go bed and breakfast as breakfast offered basic fryups but evening meals were bland and would be great if you were a fish lover!!
P.s Spot the staff member at breakfast times that never smiles!
For young ones there is a big tv in reception, pool table, teddy bear machine and two computers ( internet) available to go on.
for those that like th club scene we recomend the jail rock club which was about 10 minutes walk up the strip by the clubs. Also club benidorm was a good place to go and Champions which is opposite. for those who want to see sticky vicky dont worry she is everywhere!! appearing at various clubs every night !!
For those who are less adventiourous in the dancing department dont keep your arms folded in the white horse in eye line of the dj! LOL
Overall a nice hotel and we will certainly come back!
P.s Never opt for a traditional roast dinner in the cafe's even if it says british one word - slop

Apartments are made of cardboard !!
"These apartments are ok and I agree with previous comments about the food being ok and yes, you do get charged for the tv and the safety box.
However the worst thing in the apartment block is the noise of other residents. When in the lounge of our apartment you could hear the conversation of the other occupants next door word-for-word. The walls are a single brick and there is no sound proofing. That was bad enough but all day long and throughout the night you have to listen to the noise of slamming doors and furniture scraping across the tiled floors. I would recommend ear plugs to anyone who is a light sleeper.
The hotel bar (which is next to the entrance and reception is absolutely terrible and you should only get a drink here if there are no other bars open in Benidorm (which is imposible!). Strangely though there were always a number of people happy to watch Sky News without any conversation in this depressing bar area at night !!
Also the apartment we stayed in stank of smoke and so if you do not like smoking then think twice.
If you get a hire car be aware that the hotel will charge you â¬9 per day to park in the hotel car park. Parking outside seemed ok in the winter months but I imagine in the summer it would be impossible to find a spot as athe hotel is close to the beach.
Location wise its great but its a basic hotel with no frills so next time I'll pay the extra and stay in a better apartment block if I return to Benidorm! :-)."

Winter Longstays brilliant
"My husband and I stayed half board at the Levante Club in Jany/Feby '06. The place is spotless and the food was good, their speciality was the Chef's Night which was held on a Friday. The Reception staff, especially a girl called Angela were most helpful. They were cheerful and pleasant. We have been to these apartments twice on a longstay basis in Winter and would recommend it to all senior citizens! Great way to avoid the miserable weather. "Jst returned home from 2 weeks in benidorm with my boyfriend. We are both young (19 and 22)
First arrived at hotel and the staff were helpful.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was a great amount of space. Kitchen was well equipped, altho lacked microwave and toaster! Cleaners were excellent, came in twice a week and were absolutely great
its in a great location, 5 min walk frm beach and main strip.
The mopeds get really annoying tho! and constant car horns cos they're crazy, unpatient drivers over there!
My only complaint would have to be the balcony - it has frosted glass so when you sit down you cant see whats going on which was a bit annoying... surrounded by loads of high rise building so no privacy but it all depends what you want, i lik privacy ;)
Overall me and my boyfriend had a fantastic time and the apartments were in perfect location and are a great base.
Had to pay for safety box which was a rip off, but we got 2euros of our 38euros bak at the end.
Also watch out - you have to be out the apartments by 10am, when we were reading thru the broshure that was in our apartment it said 12 so we got a phone call frm reception after half 11, but we got our deposit bak so no great deal.
Would definately go bak!"

A great value trip
"We returned at the end of March from a week staying at the Levante Club apartments and were impressed with what we found. The apartments were clean and fairly well maintained and the location from the town centre and beach were good (5 min walk).
We only sampled the food in the restaurant 1 evening and for 9euro's per person it was disapointing, there is a great aray of bars, restaurants and cafe's within a short walking distance which all offer good value so it's definetly worth getting out to try these.
Overall these apartments delivered what we were looking for in an early year break."

Nice apartments shame about the location
"Had two weeks in March. Very good accomodation but spoiled by location up a hill from main road. Also close to several British bars which were noisy till midnight and then when people were leaving. Rooms have central heating but there is no air conditioning so expect it will be very warm in the summer. Food was reasonable but nothing to write home about although there was plenty and good choices. Would expect it to be very noisy in summer. If we go again will probably go self catering as the kitchens are well equipped. Unfortunately you have to pay for T.V. and safe which is a bit of a rip=off but only to be expected with Airtours."

Had a great time
"Me and my friend stayed here for a week in may 2004, we had a room on the 4th floor which overlooked the pool.
Pools are lovely, 1 main one and one smaller one, we were told that there was an indoor heated pool but we never seen it. Just be careful around the pool as it does become slippery and we saw children fall.
The apartments are loctaed on a small hill but not that steep, there are good supermarkets nearby and the main strip with the bars and clubs only a 10 min walk away.
Rooms were clean and well presented.
A good base for a cheap holiday."
