Dont go there..
"We have recently returned from this accommodation following a week holiday on the 14th February 2014 in search of some winter sun. The weather was not a disappointment but what was was the so called 3 star hotel.
The hotel has a pleasant facade but the pleasantries end the minute you walk through the revolving door at the entrance. It's as if you've just gone through a time warp back to the nineteen seventies. Gaudy colored furnishings and dark wooden cladding is what greets you.
We were in a "suite" on the eighth floor. The word suite in my mind conjures up pictures of luxury. NOT......it was basically a one bedroom apt with a couple more single beds put in the living room area. That said it was liveable..the room was tidied daily so that was a good thing.
Getting up and down to the eighth floor was an issue as the lifts had to be the slowest in the world.
We only ate the occasional breakfast and lunch as the food was not the best, nor was the eating experience. It was more a cafeteria free for all as opposed to a restaurant. The drinks also were not drinkable in particular the white wine. As such we went out every night to Costa Adeje/Los Christiano's and Las Americas. Which I suppose defeats the object of all inclusive but with the food not good and the evening entertainment non existent and the unavailable seating due to a rather elderly clientele who sat there all day we had no choice.
The pool area was totally inadequate for the amount of guests at the hotel unless you were mindless enough to join a queue in the morning prior to breakfast for the grand 9 o'clock opening of the pool gate. Looking down from the eighth floor at this phenomenon was unbelievable(English people. Do not call Germans) to think people do this. They were like ants out of an ant hole.....ridiculous.
The one and only saving grace for this hotel was the "Lago Lido" across the road from the hotel. This was free entry for hotel guests but AI benefits did not count. That said loads of room and sun beds, away from the cramped idiocy at the hotel pool.
To conclude I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who have some standards.
The three star rating is far too high.

You must be fit!
"This hotel is down a short but very steep incline from the main road, think about getting back up again!
Whilst I agree on the reviews re cleanliness and the fact that it is dated, please be aware that there are many steps within the hotel to access the amenities. Dining room is down a flight of stairs however you are able to go to level -1 and use the wheelchair door but be prepared for be told off unless you can show a blue badge. (Take a copy of yours if you have one)
For the same reason the Lido is out of bounds, here there is no other way to it other than down (and up) many many steps
I can't do stairs or inclines so this was a real problem at this hotel.
It is a very quiet area, many bars & shops shut down and not just for the winter months.
As always the sun loungers around the pool were taken up from guests who bagged their chosen spot as soon as it opened @ 9am.
Food is much the same as most 3star hotels, mostly just very warm but there is a microwave which I discovered on the last day."

Plesant quiet peacful what more could you ask for ??????????
"Having just returned home on the 10th dec ,i can honestly say my friend and myself had a fantastic 2 week stay at the Fiesta Floral in playa paraiso. I have stayed in a few all inclusive hotels and and found all the staff were brilliant they could not do enough for you ,the entertainment team were fantastic with kids and grownups alike ,the cleaners did a great job in the rooms. BUT and there normally is a BUT one of the waiters or bar staff who normally works the bar in the foyer area is extreemly raceist while the kenyan boys and enygma who are all black lads and by the way were brilliant ,was walking round the hotel foyer telling people there were dancing monkeys on the stage ,i found this very offensive. He was the only downer on what was a fantastic fortnights BLISS THANK YOU THOMSON HOLLIDAYS I WILL BOOK AGAIN XXXXXXXXXXX "

been 5 times have booked 3 more
"Sad you say - but with this hotel you get what you pay for! We go for a complete chill out - the terrace past the pool bar is great seems to be adults only! The rooms are yes dated but really clean and spacious. The bar have been there years and always give everyone a warm welcome - if you smile then they will to!!!! We have met some wonderful people on our stays and see them again and again. Give it a go - yes the food is repeditive but think about what you eat at home!!"

Shabby, dated hotel. Very shabby area.
"Very disappointed with our trip to this place. Hotel is very dated and in need of refurb, although the housekeepers keep the place very clean. Rooms are large, basic and a bit tatty. Lifts inadequate and often dirty. Hotel is high rise, concrete, 1960's soviet style, noisy from both corridors and other rooms, also from bar across road playing loud music til gone 3 am.
Food not brilliant, although there's plenty of it, and they will not attempt to cater for special diets. Will not even help in finding out which foods are gluten free (my husband is a coeliac). Dining area incredibly busy, you need to "bag" a table before getting food. Entertainment about 3rd class club type acts. Bar area in reception resembles a waiting room. Did't use pool area. Main bar packed and again like a social club. I'm surprised that it rates 3 stars.
There is nothing at all to recommend Playa Paraiso, we like quiet resorts but this place is dead on its feet. Empty shops and bars, half-built apartment complexes, very few bars or restaurants (none at all on the seafront)
If you like to lay by the pool and spend evenings in the hotel, then maybe this could do for you if price is cheap enough. If you like to actually feel you are in the Canaries, have a drink or a meal al fresco and enjoy a stroll around this is just about the worst place. We are only glad that we did'nt book a fortnight. Spent a fortune on day trips to escape the place. "

"The hotel is old. Apart from MOMO the daily entertainment worker the place is full of germs as a large amount of people found out. We were ill. The food is all fat, so take your SIMVASTAINS.I will say no more. Find out for your-self if you dare. However, the weather was good for the time of year."

Didn't want to come home
"we have just got back from 2 weeks at fiesta flora, and have to say we have had one of the best holidays ever! the staff were very friendly and polite, the rooms were kept immaculate every day with beds being made and towels changed. the animation team were the best i have ever seen , they had a mini club twice a day for the children which lasted a couple of hours each session, and it was free, they also had a mini disco for an hour at night where they taught all the kids dances, Roberto had so much energy and patience he was absolutely fantastic with the children,Miriam was more on the adult side and was a great laugh. each night after the mini disco there was a game of bingo which most nights the prize was over 300 euro s on our last night it was 378 euro s , The food catered for all tastes there was always something for the kids like pizza , chips fish fingers and lots of steak , pork chops paella etc.etc..The lido across the road was absolutely stunning free entry for guests of fiesta floral however you did need to buy drinks here, but so much more space plenty of beds which the hotel pool seemed to run out of. the only complaint i would have is that the hotel shop sells inflatables for the pool but the lifeguard will not let you use them. Overall we had the best time and the effort that all the staff put in made it a truly amazing holiday. we would not hesitate recommending or returning to this hotel x x "

not very good
"Lifts are too slow, food is great entertainment is good if you can actually get in the room, the cleaners are great, theres no shops with in walking distance and its not very disabled friendly as my mum found it hard and everyone we spoke to in the hotel said never again there is too much noise at night personaly not very good place also the picture of the pool in the brotcher and on the internet is not the pool that is shown that is across the road and there are far too many steps and you have to pay for food drinks and a brolly even if your all inclusive we went down there and never again. Great value for money Hotel
"Just returned from a 10 night stay. Our kids (aged 10-13) loved it - we hardly ever saw them. The Hotel could benefit from a make over but it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We stayed in a junior suite which was fine for the 5 of us with a good size bathroom.
The food was fantastic, loads of salads, hot dishes, pizza's, burgers, nuggets, hot dogs, fish dishes etc. Kitchen staff constantley replenishing and maintaining presentation of food. Snacks available all day ranging from sandwiches, biscuits, fruit, ice cream, ice lollies to hot food including chips, hot dogs and burgers.
Pool area could do with being a bit bigger but you do have free entrance to the Lido, which is just down a slope at the side of the hotel and the hotel pool only opened at 9am so nobody was up at 'stupid o'clock' putting towels out.
Entertainment was the usual mix of daytime activities and a 2 week programme at night.
Staff were friendly.
Would we go back? - Definately!"
