"We stayed at the parque cristobal, the staff was very friendly and rooms clean every day, there was much on a night day, but there had things for kids to do, the bingo was great, as we won, we stayed for 2 wks and i would be very happy to go again soon! as the meals were great, no problems there, the pool area was clean. The rooms very clean. And the beach 5 mins down the bank, but its a bit rocky. There is a better beach for kids abount a 15min walk along. But saying that we didnt go as there are 2 big pool so you no need to. The staff what runs the kids club there very nice, there have parrots shows and other shows coming in to the hotel, put there charge 10 euros a photo of you holding them. We didnt get to the hotel till very lats in the middle of the night and the hotel had us food ready, which that was very great... Overall. I cant fault this hotel at all. And would go again very soon, as we had no faults what so ever...from kim, simon and family... Co durham, england."

Perfect for families with kids
"This hotel was perfect for kids. There is everything you need. Staff is very helpful and they changed our bungalow near the pool when we asked. Cleaning was 5 times a week and there were big washing machines (4 euro/ wash) awailable around the clock. There is also a gym in this hotel, but that was really nothing. One old running machine and two crosstrainers which were kind of broken. If you are a partygroup, don´t go into this family hotel!"

Great hotel for a family vacation
"We stayed a week at this hotel with my spouse, two children (4mths, 2 yrs) and spouse's parents. Bungalow (2 bedrooms) was spacious and it could easily accommodate two baby beds, which were readily set up as we arrived. Kids' pools were great and there was a wide choice of pool toys you could choose from. You could easily get around the hotel premises with a stroller and there was an abundance of baby seats in the restaurant. Baby changing facilities didn't exist (at least I didn't notice any), so we had to go back to our room if changing was necessary. House keeping was very efficient and they even did the dishes. We took all inclusive, which was a great choice with small children. Gladly there was a different dinner theme every night, so during one week you didn't get bored of the same restaurant. Food was really delicious, and even the house wines were drinkable. And pool bar's Sangria was excellent! Hotel is very close to everything, even a supermarket was just a few blocks away. Even though there was a busy road just outside the hotel, you didn't get a lot of noice inside the hotel premises, thanks to the heavy walls. You could easily sit outside on your own terrace and enjoy the evening without the hassle of the village."

Great value for money and a friendly place to stay
"Excellent accommodation and a good location. Food was good if a little limited for the children with a chef freshly cooking meat in front of you (crepes at breakfast) Staff were excellent and friendly from the receptionists through to the restaurant and bar staff and the cleaners. Mini club reps were great, very friendly and relaxed with kids and adults alike. Accommodation was good and clean. Any issues (eg ants) were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Hotel was handy for shops and the beach. It has 2 great pool areas with plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommend it."

Loved the place, going again.
"We had a very nice and pleasent stay at Parque Crstobal with my family (me, my wife, our son 6y, my wifes parents). Breakfast was more than you can hope for. Zurros, eggs, fruits, and more. Bungalows were clean and commofort. 4 times in week bungalow was cleaned and towls and sheets chanced. Even that Hotel area is in the center of everything it's so peacefull and trafic noise doesn't bother at all. Walking from hotel to anywhere you might want to go is most likely under 800 meters away from hotel. That is more that big + when you travel with young children. That 800 is to beach were you can swim. Partyanimals this ain't the place to stay. In the morning staff cleans up the poolarea with their floorcleaning machines and families are heading to breakfast so early that thouse who had partied last night can's sleep their hangover probably away :) Staff was good and very helpfull. I was amazed when our sons wallet was forgotten to table and even the whole bungalow was cleaned up, the wallet was still in the table and all his money was still in it. :) I just booked another vacation in same place and bigger group."

dont mention the war!
"I was a bit dubious about going to these apartments as nobody seemed to have heard of them before we went but we got a great deal so thought we would give them a try. The apartments have a great location, lots of bars and excellent restaurants in walking distance. Apartments themselves were lovely, we were in fact given a two bedroom apartment and as there was only 2 of us we had plenty of room to spread out. Facilities both on the complex and in the apartment were excellent. The pools were spotlessly clean and even had a toy store of inflatables for the children to play with. The only 'drawback' if it was one, was that we were the only English people there! This didnt bother us as we did our own thing , although I did miss the general chit chat round the pool. There was lots of activities for children during the day but it would have been difficult for british children to join in, make friends etc because of the language barrier. I think Direct Holidays are featuring these apartments in their 2009 brochure so hopefully things will change for next year."

Nice familiy apartments
"We had one week at this place and was very pleased with the stay. All apartments are small bungalows with a little terrace in the front. The surroundings was quite where we lived. The pool area had one large swimming pool and one pool for children. My 2 years daughter really liked the pool area. There was a pool restaurant there that we tried once, but the food was not very good. It was a 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach."

"Spent ages trying to find a agent who could book this accomadation. When we arrived staff rude and said there was a problem with water in our bungalow (other non english speaking booking in beside us had no problem) when i asked what they where going to put us they pointed to a hotel they had already circled on a map. We tried to refuse but they had phoned us a taxi, when i asked how many nights we would have to stay in this other hotel they said all of our holiday. They then charged us for the taxi !!!! Arrived at other hotel, it was awful, so we checked out and booked ourselves into apartments which we had to pay for ourselves, Travel agent back home was great and refunded our money but imagine if you did not have a credit card with you. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE."

"Spent months finding the perfect accomodation for our first holiday with our 8 month old daughter and choose two bungalows at this newly renovated hotel. Also my brother was celebrating his 50th birthday so he and his partner had tbooked the second bungalow. Arrived at hotel after travelling for 12 hours to find the hotel had double booked us, but not bothered to email us of this fact. Staff were rude and told us basically to go and find other accomodation or take the one bedroom apartment that they had left!!! However they said they would not refund any money if we took this. I would recommend that no-one touches this hotel if they want to experience a good holiday."

"Five lads from the UK abroad usually expect to be put into a typical "lads abroad" style apartment. Imagine the surprise we got when we found this place! Your bungalow is painted in a fetching bright white that really sets off the whole site. Nice patio to the front with your table and chairs, AND your own bungalowâs sun beds! Inside is immaculate, really clean all the way through, especially the linen.... the maidâs are in about every two days. Only downside is there is only Sky News on the TV in English. Two pools, one decently sized and one smaller. Be advised though, even though the welcome leaflet in your bungalow says "NO" to putting your towel on a sunbed, people do do it so it can be difficult to get a number of poolside sun beds next to each other. Really helpful receptionists and the site is a 2 min walk to the nearest supermarket. There is a small shop on site but it hasnât got a massive selection. Reasonably quiet due to the main road being about 2 mins away. All in all a top place that Iâm back off to next year! "
