fantastic complex, fantastic food, fantastic accom safe and friendly, what more can you ask?!
"We arrived here on 25th May, me, my husband with 3 children aged 7 and two 15 yr olds!! We booked a family suite and it certainly had the wow factor..Bedroom and bathroom upstairs for the girls, gorgeous dining/living area with balcony. (Decent size kitchen, not that we used it!) Downstairs a massive bedroom with super king size bed (2singles pushed together) with memory foam mattress toppers...heaven, I usually don't sleep well on holiday cos the beds are so hard, but these beds are perfect!! Large downstairs terrace, bathroom and 3 wardrobes and lots of drawers!
The buffet area is tiny and I thought that was a bad sign...not to be, the food is brought out fresh constantly which is better than having lots just sat waiting for people to finish it. The last review said the food was awful? This person didnât stay all-inclusive so how would he know..We did and have done all inclusive many many times, this hotel I have to say is the best, steak most days, chicken, pork, turkey, its not the food that is repetitive it is the choice that people make, I had something different everyday, they cook your meat to your liking on the griddle and most days there is always a fabulous sauce to go with the meat, Roquefort, pepper, mustard, coronation, red wine sauce..They were all delicious!! The breakfast is lovely...I am missing those gorgeous sausages already!!
The pool area is immaculate with false grass all the way around so no slipping which is great if you have kids! Both pools were great temperature.... definitely not cold.in fact on some hot days i would have said not cold enough!
Enough sun beds and parasols for everyone!
The snacks for all-inclusive consisted of crisps, cakes fruit and individually wrapped sandwiches, which I think is ideal..Rather that than burgers that have been sat out for 4-5 hours!!
Entertainment is same as anywhere, eagles parrots snakes, singers etc...If you want large cabaret acts you better stay at the 5 star very expensive Bahia hotels where you will pay to watch them in your hol price!
5 mins to Siam park, courtesy bus, if you get a taxi back its about 4 euros!
The Bombay blue Indian restaurant in the safari centre is fabulous!! Donât bother with the oriental garden, itâs not great, the Chinese night at the hotel is far better!!
All in all this is a lovely place, I would recommend it to anyone and I am fussy about my holidays!!!
The kids club is great they charge for things like making cookies and sweetie night etc...., which are fun for the kids, but the reps need to buy the stuff so fair enough!!
Have great time...I am going back here in October hopefully!!!"

Nice Hotel - Not ideal if self Catering
"We arrived, were treated well by the Hotel Receptionist and given a map to our room. We were very happy with the size of the room, facilities and cleanliness. We were self catering in a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 camp beds for the kids. We moved the room about a bit and left the beds up throughout our stay. There was still ample room for us.
We could not fault the room and the pool area for what we paid. The pool was nice (freezing cold though) There was space, but the second week was busier, i wouldnt like to be there in high season. What lets the hotel down is making you pay through the nose for everything. It was our choice to not go all inclusive - i would still stick to that decision, but i probably spent the same anyway.
During the end of May only the pool bar served food and drinks. To eat at the buffet for adults It was 8euros for breakfast, 11euros for lunch and 21 euros for evening meal!!! There was a separate menu for lunch that was ok, but this was not available for evening meal. So you were forced to cook or go elsewhere.
There was no way any sane person would part with 63euros with 2 kids, (thats before any drinks!!) to eat the hotel food at night. We got a taxi into 'Safari' and ate well for 60 (including drinks and cab) The food was similar every day, chips, salad, pasta, chicken. Im glad i wasnt all inclusive. A few people we got friendly with ate out too, even though they were all inclusive (that tells its own story)
The supermarket was ok, but did not have enough variation for Self Catering guests. It was a bit pricey, but then complex supermarkets always are.
The entertainment and food work on a weekly cycle, so by your eight day its all a bit tiresome. The kids club wanted money at night events (up to 10 euros per child), Which i think is appalling, and the Hotel want 4 euros a day to watch TV!!!
Siam Park is close and well worth a visit (we had the free entry too)
All in all, the hotel is great, the food is awful and the entertainment is average. If it was in the town centre i would go back there tomorrow, as good food and nightlife could be found easily, but as its a bit out of the way it doesnt offer enough to stay on the complex for self catering."

Ideal family resort close to Siam Park and Playa de Las Americas
"I stayed here with my wife and two daughters (8 & 10) for a week during the Whitsun holidays. We had an unlimited access package to Siam Park so chose to go self-catering. We also paid extra for an apartment with two separate bedrooms and were blown away by the quality and size of the apartment - a sound investment. The beds were comfortable, the bedrooms roomy, the kitchen was small but well equipped. We had two bathrooms, one with a shower, one with a bath/shower, and the lounge area was big and very comfortable. We had a balcony off the lounge and a patio area off the main bedroom which was down stairs. We asked for a quiet room and were placed well away from the bar and entertainmnet area. Our apartment faced the road which is quiet. We were surprised how the apartment managed to stay cool, even without air conditioning.
The pool area was fabulous with two main pools and a small toddler pool. Even though the pools were busy there seemed to be enough sunbeds and just enough space during the busy periods. The pool area has astro-turf which makes the surfaces walkable even in the heat of the day. The restaurant serves bar snacks in the middle of the day but the breakfast and evening meal buffets were far too epensive to contemplate. There is a minimarket on site which is a bit pricey for some items. There is a Spar supermarket a 15 minute walk away and a small Spanish one about 10 minutes walk away. We chose to walk to and from Siam Park which is a 15 - 20 minute walk away and to the restaurants in Playa de Las Americas. There is a taxi rank near to the hotel and it seems to cost about 4 Euros to go to Playa de Las Americas of Siam Park. The reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, everywhere was clean and well kept and we wouldn't hesitate to return. There is a Kids Club which our girls used on two occasions."

Excellent family resort but definitely consider going all-inclusive
"The resort is very family friendly however its worth considering going all-inclusive due to the distance to other eating / drinking places. We have 2 young boys (4 and 2) and to get to other eating places in the heat was tricky and sometimes not worth the hassle. We upgraded to all inclusive while we were there, but it would have been a lot cheaper to book it on this basis in the first place. Kidsworld facility is fantastic, staff are very very obliging and the pool facilities are great. The 2 storey apartments are very spacious and well kitted out."

Great Relaxing Break
"We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and were the only ones checking in from our flight, reception area lovely but very small. Given a map and sent off to our room, which we found very easy, the room was massive and really clean with a large bedroom and dining area and the pull down beds. Pool area is lovely with 2 main pools and a small baby pool and around is all artificial grass so no slipping!! Kids club was great and included if you are All Inclusive, they run some activities like Chocolate Parties and Cookie Making which has a small cover charge and good fun for the kids, the staff there were all really friendly and made sure the kids were having fun. Food at the hotel was good and have different themed nights like Italian, International, Chinese and BBQ which we loved, nice selection of salads and desserts. Entertainment was OK, kids disco, bingo then a cabaret act or snake, bird shows, think they could do with a bit more and be more organised, but we still enjoyed it. Taxi into Las Americas or Los Cristianos about 5 euros we never walked down as were told not to on a night. Rep asked us to go on a hotel visit and recieve 100 euro voucher off a excursion which we did but it was just to get you to sign up to another chain of hotels which were very nice but not for us.. wasted 4 hours of our time! However the resort we were in was Fanabe was great and has street entertainment, crazy golf, trampolines, great family bars and cabaret acts, lovely beach, so we had a great day there after it finished, and a free taxi back to hotel.. Went to Loro Parque it took about 2 hours but was well worth the journey, had a fab day there, a must while in Tenerife!!"

Very Nice, but......
"We stayed at this resort along with another couple, and our first impressions were very positive. The staff on reception were very friendly, and the layout of the resort is very pleasing on the eye with lots of flowers.
It looks like the rooms have had a recent refurb, and were fresh and airy. There was no air conditioning, which was a bit disappointing, just a ceiling fan in the bedroom There is nothing major wrong with this place, but over the week we noticed a few annoyances which indicated to us that the resort is being run on a shoestring. For example, the tv was an old CRT model, and to use it required a 15 euro deposit. Otherwise they didn't switch on the connection to your apartment. Trivial things like taking one bulb out of the 3 bulb fitment on the fan (in both our apartments), and not renewing the soap every day, all point to penny pinching.
However, we had a relaxing time, and didn't really mind the fact that we were in the middle of a golf course, with no shops or bars to compete with the(slightly expensive) on site ones. 5 euros in a taxi and we were in Los Christianos or Las Americas. The nightlife is fantastic in both of them.
So... the resort is fine for a week, but don't expect it to be 5 star accomodation."

"A pretty hotel with nice flowers and nature around the hotel area. Good food for breakfast and lunch, but the dinners what not so good. But when they had BBQ nights it was very good. Some of the people who worked there were not so friendly. The poolarea was very nice and it was a calm area. The realy bad thing was that it was a pretty far walk and the roads you had to walk besides were not so nice and almost dangerous."

Very nice resort
"We recently stayed at Green Garden Resort, which was a very nice resort in a quiet (golf) area. The apartment (2 room) we stayed in was very spacious and had a big balcony. The hotel area was beautiful and clean with palmtrees and various plants, wooden benches with cushions. The buildings were only two-storey and it was a very nice hotel area.
The pool, half of it was heated and the other half wasn't, was very nice. The kids' pool was also nice, but only about 40cms deep, so for bigger small children, it's probably a bit too small.
Just next to the pool, is the casual restaurant, where breakfast was served and you could have lunch. Breakfast was great, and lunch was good but not great. There is also a "nicer" restaurant at the site, and that one is also good but not great.
There is a small shop, where you can buy the most necessary things.
The hotel isn't by the beach, but there is a bus service to the beach every day. We rented a car during our stay, and the beach was only about a 4-5 minutes' drive away.
When you buy something at the hotel, shop or restaurant, you need to open an account. You bill everything to the account and then pay when you check out.
Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful."

Great holiday worth the money
"We have just come back from Green Garden Resort there were 11 of us in our group ranging from 7 years of age up to 69 years of age.
The photos that we looked at on the web pages were just how it was, clean, neat and tidy. The people at reception were very helpful and would act on anything you needed for the room as soon as you asked. We misplaced 3 valuable items on the resort and all were handed in and given back to us.
Would definitely recommed this resort. There is a walk from the resort to the town which can be a bit hard going if it is hot but you can get a taxi to the town and back . Nice quiet place."

Nice tourist village, nice swimming pool
"10 minutes walk from Plaja de Las Americas, or circa 4 euros by taxi, this nice resort can offer you what you need for a relaxing vacation with its nice double swimming pool, activities, massage facilities, a golf club nearby.
The apartments are clean, quite big, we had a double bed in the sleeping room and a single bed that could be placed in the living room. To go to the beach you need to walk around 20 minutes or you can take the shuttle bus leaving from the resort. There is no wireless network but you can access the internet from their computers for 1 euro for 10 minutes."

Nothing to worry about
"We read reviews on this resort after we booked it and were extremely worried! We needn't have been. Security was our main worry, as our 10 yr old daughter would be sleeping in the lounge on her own! The balcony was very secure, with a high wire fence (Didn't restrict the wonderful view!). Just to be on the safe side, we kept the door locked at night. There were lockable vented shutters and glass patio doors, you could use one or the other or both. Despite the heat, as we were out most of the day and kept the shutter down, the apartment stayed cool, so the heat wasn't a problem with the door locked.
The place was immaculate, not a cockroach in sight, clean towels everyday, bedlininen regularly changed. Poole was lovely, nicely laid out. Staff helpful and friendly. Food fairly good, average UK prices, cheaper and more variety in town though.
No cash on sight, you put cash or credit card over the reception and pay using your room key. Watch out that teenagers don't overspend without you knowing!
Bus service reliable and regular, taxi's cheap. Would definately go there again."

Look Beyond the Landscape Gardens
"On arrival this resort was very impressive.
A bit too far from the resort, it was a nice enough walk to the resort apart from the gravel path at the top of the hill - it was covered in condoms and at night men could be seen lurking in the bushes.
The resort had a policy for the sun loungers but the residents seem to claim all the loungers for people who never showed up, in the end i lifted a towel from a lounger and got a right mouthful from a resident who said it was for her grand child (who was sleeping in the apartment) I used the lounger for about 2 hours and there was no sign of this child when i was leaving.
A lot of robbery in the complex and the staff tried to hide this fact. Because of this we kept our shutters and doors closed so the apartment did not feel very welcoming.
Apartments were basic and ours was full of ants & roaches, cleaners were not very thorough. Our sheets were only changed once.
Entertainment is dreadful
I would not return to this resort, but maybe we just got a bad week after all other people loved this place. I think it is just luck on what room you get and what other guests are like."
