Robbed while sleeping
"The worst possible accommodation. My mums apartment was broken into during the night while she slept and everything was stolen!!!! Hotel staff were useless... no compassion, no one cared, absolutely horrendous! Avoid at all costs!!!!!! (Mam was arrested for this crime) "

what more could you want
"Just came back from a 2 week styay here and we had everything we could possibly want. Great location very close to the beach, shops, bars. The room was spotless and cleaned 5 times a week with fresh linen twice a week. Pool area and ground were kept spotless everyday. We had breaskfast and evening meals that were faultless, plenty of variety and very tasty considering they have to cook on mass. I have been going to Tenerife for 20 years and this is the first visit to this complex and to be honest i won't look to stay anywhere else as i will go back here each time now."

Never Again, Horribly Rude Staff
"We booked the Parque de las Paz because we read online that it's a 3 star hotel within minutes of the beach and Veronica's strip. How this establishment ever, ever managed to claim 3 stars is an absolute joke and astonishment to me.
There were seven of us, all from 22-26, and not one of us have a good thing to say about the place. The rooms had no iron, no washing machine, or even a basic mop or sweeping brush to clean the rooms up after ourselves. The food you could order near the pool was lackluster and don't even get me started on the computers in the parlour, you pay a euro for ten minutes online, and two of three times I done so I was waiting 4 minutes for the internet signal to reboot and work for me (provided I could even get a computer, as they were constantly being used by kids checking their facebooks).
From the moment we arrived the rooms were sweltering hot with absolutely no air conditioning, as a result we'd have to keep our balcony doors open constantly, which would result in security constantly coming up to the room and giving out to us if we even had the iPod on a low volume in another room, or had a chat or a drink on the balcony at night. When we tried to speak to the Reception about it, the staff (Juan Luis Bello was his name, the staff who works the night shift) cursed at me, stormed off on me as I was speaking to him, and was incredibly hostile and unprofessional considering I was only asking for an alternative to cool the room down that night without disturbing other guests. I had asked the manager the next day would it be possible to have another fan brought up to the room or even to have our own fan speeded up, and nothing resulted of it.
From the moment we arrived we felt like we were unwelcome due to the ages of our party despite two of us working in the Hospitality business as Receptionist's in Hotels back home in Dublin. The whole trip was completely ruined for us due to the hostile and aggressive attitude of this particular staff member, and regardless if some of the girls in our room were a bit high-pitched there was absolutely no excuse that can justify his lack of professionalism. In Ireland, you'd be fired for it, and I see no reason why any paying customer should be treated the way we were. Having a family or minors with you should be no indication as to how the staff should treat you, and we felt very uncomfortable here.
In summary, the staff were horrible, and the rooms were sweltering hot with no ventilation (bar a very slow moving fan in one room) and very few self-catering services. I'd never recommend it to anyone again, I'd rather sleep on the beach on Veronica's Strip than bother going back to Parque de la Paz. The only thing I can say about the customer service is that the security officer on patrol is a lovely, genuinely nice guy who was far more apologetic for the rude receptionists than the management were."

Fantastic Holiday :)
"We went to Parque de la paz last month and its the best holiday we've had in years. The entertainment was great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was fine and was cleaned loads whilst we were there. We stayed self catering but ate at the hotel a few times, no faults at all. Siam park and loro parque are fantastic, and was enjoyed by all ages. You wont be dissapointed and we have already booked again for next year. :)"

Wonderful Apartments spoiled by noisy entertainment
"We have stayed at these Apartments several times, and have always enjoyed out stay. This year, was the first time we have been, when they are now also all inclusive. We chose to stay self catering, again this time, as we like to cater for ourselves and eat out. We arrived and as always were pleased, however, we had not bargained for the afternoons of boring,Bingo. Which most of the holiday makers did not want. At nightime the entertainment started, it was so very noisy and again always a couple of games of Bingo. It was impossible to get to sleep before 11pm, which when you have children with you is late every night. In the past, the entertainment during the Winter months was inside, but be warned it is now outside, and so having a quiet night on the balcony is not a possibility. "

"my family and i arrived to parque la paz on 1/10/2010 our plane was an hour late and we had missed dinner so they left a bag of food and fruit for us in our room there was a entertainer called ben he was great with the children and was funny the entertainment you get is amazing when you arrive there you dont want to leave the food was great and there is a wide choice there was two restaurants to choose from there is about 15 bars down the stairs every pub has entertainment but not as good as the hotel lol at night time we went to linekers it is the best club in tenerife and it is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel everything is just a few minute walk away i would never ever ever choose anywhere else for a holiday it is a hotel for seniours familys and all ages really there is 3 games of bingo a day and there is very good money to play for there is also 2 raffles a day i won 7 times within 2 days my mum and my sister won at least 300 euros between them it is the best hotel i would never choose another hotel u have to try that hotel you would never find another hotel with better entertainment and there is beach volleyball in the pool exercises and other things going on during the day if people say that hotel was not good they are nuts lol the best hotel in tenerife and i have been to a lot of hotels xxxx"

"Just returned from spending 7 nights in this hotel (8/10 - 15/10).
I have visited Tenerife for the last 15 years and have stayed in hotels at all star ratings.
We arrived at the hotel at 02:30 A.M. Check in was fasttnd efficient and friendly. Room was a surprise, kitchen was small but functional (we didnt need it as we were staying on a half board basis), living room area had two sofas, table chairs and T.V (Coin operated). bedroom was large and airy.
Booth the living area and the Bedroom had access to the balcony area which was large and furnished with table and chairs.
After breakfast (Buffet style but with plenty of choice) we noticed a poster next to the dining area offering upgrade to All Inclusive for 14 euros per day each. This is a bargain as it covers everything.
Pool area is large and has plenty of sunbeds but as usual these tend to be grabbed by the dawn raiders who dont seem to make use of them till late afternoon.
All Inclusive only area is behind main poolside bar. here Draught Beer,Fruit juices,Tea, coffee and ice water are available on alf servicebasis. Spirits and cocktails are served to you by barman. Longest I had to wait for a drink was approx 2 minutes (Big difference from other hotels I have stayed in).
Entertainment was great, everything from Bingo for the women, games etc for kids, quizzes for everyone and a wide variety of acts to suit all tastes. (Highlights were Rat Pack singer, Comedy Drag Act and young female singer brought in at very short notice who sang Alicia Keyes numbers note perfect.
Location of hotel may not be to everyones taste but my days of 24 hour partying are long gone so the quiet at night was appreciated.
An integral part of my enjoying of the holiday was Van and Ben the entertainments team who know how to get a crowd going and are consumate professionals.
To sum up.... This was my first visit to this hotel but it wont be my last."

"Just came back from a weeks all inclusive holiday at this hotel and had an excellent time from start to finish. Our apartment on the 3rd floor was spotless on arrival along with the rest of the hotel. The all inclusive package was great with plenty of choice each day. Our children aged 2 and 6 loved the pool area which again was spotless on a daily basis and at this time of year had plenty of beds. The evening entertainmnet was good but didnt start until 8.30 pm this could be improved by having a little mini disco etc prior to this for the younger children. The entertainment is loud but does finish at midnight.
To summarise the hotel is in a great location, had good food and entertainment and is clean."
