Facilities, Entertainment, Activities
The Aparthotel Club Atlantis’s star attraction is its spacious pool and sun bathing area, boasting a knockout view of the ocean. There is a snack bar on site, serving a host of snacks and refreshing drinks, while those up for a bit of pampering and preening can head for the salon, to prepare for an all-night party on the Port.
WiFi can be purchased separately, though guests can also feel free to use the free WiFi in the reception area. The complex boasts a self-service laundry, meeting room and a car park for guests.
The staff speaks English, German and French, and help you plan an excursion, change money, rent a vehicle, etc. For a small cost, guests can avail of a towel service for the pool or beach.
There are a variety of sporting activities as well, both on land and in the water; just ask the staff for the ample list of activities. Families with kids should also pay a visit to Siam Park, a fun water park for the whole family.
Food and Drink Options
The only food establishment at Aparthotel Club Atlantis is the poolside snack bar, though the proximity of the complex to Puerto Colón means that a good meal is just a short walk away. Foodies will find local and regional dishes, as well as a wealth of tapas style treats and of course, international dishes from Asia, Morocco and much more.
If a visit to Siam Park is in your plans, you can’t fail to try at least one of its numerous restaurants. The Park is home to Thai House, serving traditional Thai cuisine, while cosy bars like the Beach Bar, right on the seashore, are the perfect place to have a refreshing cocktail

"Very polite and friendly staff, on arrival Christmas eve, the lovely receptionist told us that Father Christmas was in the bar giving out free gifts in their sister hotel 'Panorama'! and mince pies. I thought this sounded too go to be true but we went along and was plesantly suprised. Well it definitely made my 4 year old's holiday.
Beautifully kept pool, reception, wifi and amazing studio with a stunning seaview, can't wait to my visit next year.
Definitely would recommend."

"This is a very quite apartment hotel, although family friendly, they do not allow games in the pool, lilo, diving, any sort of mucking about really. There is not any music around pool, so take your own headset! they are a bit strict even down to the blue parosols, you cannot get your own unless it matches theirs! They watch who comes in around pool, and all areas are very clean, but all this amounts to a very pleasant holiday, which is why we choose it, no rowdy teenagers or drunken adults..not that Im old, but I just like sunbathing in peace, I save the raving till night time!. They are building some new apartments so this could get a bit noisy soon. Its right on the Puerto Colon harbour, which is lovely at night, lots of nice restaurants and bars, try Manhattans if you like Northern Soul, family run bar with some of the best entertainment on the island. For a cheap but good food try The Ship, (opp. Ocean view) There is the walk along the front to los Cristianos really pretty when all the flowers in bloom. The receptionist can be a bit moody, I have now have learnt some spanish even though its only a few words, I actually got her to smile. I will keep going back there anyway."

"From 08.00 to 17.00 every day of our 2nd week we were treated to the sound of pneumatic drills outside our apartment. Couldn't contact the rep - wouldn't answer the phone, and on return to the UK Cosmos were as useful as a chocolate teapot. Will never travel with Cosmos again or indeed book through Travelcounsellors, as I did on this occasion."

"very good value! We paid less than £300 each for the week inc flights from glasgow. The hotel is in an excellent location & the car parking is very useful.
the staff were friendly & helpful despite reading the opposite in some reviews. (perhaps it depends how you treat them!)
A couple of bad points: the much heralded air conditioning does not work! Not just our room! However a/c is not really required in tenerife with its dry heat.
Also the charge for a key to the safe is very expensive (after the deposit was returned it cost us 18⬠Ive never paid that much even in large city centre hotels!
Overall tho I would definately stay here again."

"We thoroughly agree with the latest comments on Club Atlantis! We have stayed there several times and would actually much rather stay on the road side of the hotel. The apartment we stayed in is on the fourth floor and is excellent, well furnished, up to date and equipped to a high standard.
What takes us back year after year is the fantastic view that in my opinion just cannot be beaten by many of the pool-side rooms. We sit for hours on the balcony, particularly at night just drinking it all in and never tiring of it. It's beautiful.
Yes the road can be quite busy but, quite honestly, we're out most days so it's not a problem. Sometimes however when we do sit on the balcony in the daytime we really enjoy watching the world go by! It's so interesting! The patio doors are so substantial that we have never been disturbed by noise at night.
Some of our friends are much more irritated by all the noise from the youngsters in the pool when they stay on the pool-side of the complex! They also get far too hot on their balcony at times and end up sitting indoors in the air conditioning to escape the heat!
We find that the sun comes round to our balcony in the afternoon when many of the pool-side rooms have lost it so we often come up from the pool to enjoy a quiet and sunny end to the day. We can easily sit down by the pool if we want the sun for the whole day anyway. It can actually be a very welcome and pleasant relief to go up and sit on our balcony after sunning ourselves all day! We just don't see any problem.
We would recommend our room any time and will enjoy returning again and again I'm sure."

"Just got back yesterday from staying at Club Atlantis and I would like to say the hotel was clean but most of the staff was very rude and would keep you waiting until they was ready to deal with you which could take up to an hour. As for children it is not the best hotel for under 5's they have a baby pool and 2 larger pools but my daughter 3 got bored of the little pool and wanted to go in the big pool but there is no shallow end so someone had to be in with her all the time which caused tears as she wanted to do it herself. So clean hotel and very good location but that's it!"

"We booked with someone that owns their own apartment in the complex. We had a fourth floor room overlooking the road. Despite the comments of other reviewers here we thought the room was fantastic, completely refurbished to a much higher standard than the rooms run by the hotel.
We loved the views which on the road side consisted of both the sea and mountains (Mount Tiede the island's volcano). Much better than at night just staring out into inky blackness! We could often see firework displays from our balcony! It's true you don't get as much sun as the rooms over the pool but with friends staying in one of these we found their flat far too hot and oppressive with everyone sweltering under sun blinds during the day. Give us a side view anytime!
Loads to do you can be on the beach in about thirty seconds! Tons of bars and nightlife with shopping centre and supermarket at the top of the road. We travelled all over the place by the local Titsa bus service. Buy a bono bus card as this makes travel cheaper.
Trip to Loro Park a must - go by organised coach tour it works out cheapest. Complex very popular and usually full Sept to April each year. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have booked early with the same owner to go back again next!! Terrific!!

" From day one definitely request a pool view this is a must as the views of the pool and the sea are amazing.
No restaurant available as this is under refurbishment but daytime snacks at the pool are available but are pricey.
Extremely poor air conditioning we had this running for the full week we were there and the room still felt warm and stuffy and very unpleasant to sleep in.
As for the apartment itself it was average but felt it wasnât 4 star standards but it was clean and the staff were helpful and pleasant enough.
** Note of warning **
I know this might sound strange but if you don't put your towels in the bath before the maid comes she will not replace them, even if you leave them on the floor they still wont get replaced, also if you are thinking about taking a lilo forget it as they donât allow lilos/ rubber rings in the pool.
Overall we still had a fantastic holiday here it was situated in a ideal area which was convenient for shops, restaurants, bars, beach and also the jungle park, aqua park and go-karts.

"Nice hotel, clean, well located near the beach & bar/restaurants, extra towels provided when requested, nice room with balcony and with sun in the afternoon.
*NOTE* when booking your room request a pool view room, as a room on the opposite side of the hotel will overlook a noisy road and will barely get any sun.
We requested a pool view as I had read that I should do so on a different review website, although when we arrived they tried to palm us off with one of the rooms facing the road.
Subsequently I grumbled enough to get us a pool view room, which contributed to it being a great holiday, my advice - hold out for a pool view room as opposed to a 'road view' as it has the potential to make or break your holiday!
The local bars & restaurants are good, plenty of bars almost right on the beach for a drink during the day, and plenty of entertainment in the evenings, although it depends on what sort of entertainment you're into, mostly there were things like Elvis impersonators and comedians, a bit 'Blackpoolish', but all light hearted and funny all the same.
A tip is to have a good look in all directions when heading for a night out as if you go up the hill to the cross roads there are bars & restaurants in either direction, as well as down the hill (to the sea front) in either direction. Can't recommend any single bar/restaurant but all I would advise is to try as many as you can!
The other people were pleasant too, in the hotel there were some kids, some pensioners, and some couples, and in the resort (Costa Adeje) there were the same + a couple of small groups (or example 3 or 4 people together on a 'lads' holiday), and fortunately not even one large group of 'lager lout' types.
It would appear that these sorts of large partying groups appear to stay in Las Americas - which is like a very grim Blackpool from what we saw, as we had a nostalgic wander down to 'Veronicas' one evening (I had been there on a lads holiday about 10 years ago) and to say it's gone downhill is an understatement.
Some of the neon is still there, although half of the lights have gone out with no attempt to replace them, the street looks like a bombsite, and about 25% of the bars are now derelict!
Anyway, back to the hotel Club Atlantis; because of my 10 minute grumble and hold out for a pool view room, one of the staff was a bit off with me for the first day or two and the fact that to get a pool view, we had to put up with 2 single beds (and had to pay for the use of the safe in the room) the hotel will only get an 'Above Average' rating from me rather than a 'Excellent', as other than these relatively minor incidents, the hotel, it's location, the room, the pool, the other guests and holiday on the whole, were excellent."
