Hotel Malibu Park
About Hotel Malibu Park
Malibu Park Apartments are the ideal choice for travellers seeking a home-away-from-home, while they bask in the warmth of the Tenerife sun. The Apartments are a 15-minute drive away from the Reina Sofia South Tenerife airport, and a short walk away from many of the Costa Adeje’s top beaches, including Fanabe and Torviscas beaches, famed for their powdery sands and pristine waters. The Apartments are ideal for families travelling with little children, since they are a one-minute walk from the Aqualand Water Park, which features fun slides, a variety of pools and entertainment throughout the day. The Apartments are also just half a mile from the brand new Siam Park, a Siamese-themed water park featuring an array of Thai restaurants and the largest man-made wave in the world. When you’re not surfing at the beach or working up an appetite at the nearby water parks, you will find it easy to relax your cares away at the Malibu Park — Apartments’ grand-sized pool, with its free sun loungers. All Apartments boast a lounge with a sofa bed and kitchenette, complete with an oven, fridge and kettle, so you can whip up a delicious meal for the whole family. Nearby, you will find shopping centres and chemists so you needn’t worry if you’ve left any important items at home.
Room Information and Room Facilities
You can opt for three different types of accommodation: the Studios accommodate one or two people, the T1 Apartment is for one to four people, while the T2 Apartment is meant for larger groups, since it accommodates between one and six guests. Don’t worry about bringing any equipment; all apartments are fully equipped with an electric kitchen, oven, fridge, kettle, cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc. All Apartments also have a safety deposit box, hair dryer, and television.
Facilities, Entertainment, Activities
You may be heading for Tenerife to unwind, but be prepared for a host of fun activities if you wish to keep active. Malibu Park Apartments boasts a children’s playground and a multi-sports area, where you can hone your skills in tennis and football. Internet is also available, so you needn’t miss out on answering important emails or uploading your latest pics to Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. An ample play area houses game machines, dart machines, air hockey and ping-pong, and there are two separate pools for children and adults. A popular terrace bar serves delicious meals and drinks and there is a well-stocked mini-market where you can source all your cooking needs. Rent a car or a bicycle if travelling on wheels is your thing, and let the friendly staff help you book a wide range of excursions (boat, plane, walking, etc.). Just a 15-minute drive away, you will also find a golf club, Karting Tracks, and Cristiano’s harbour (where you can depart to other islands). If business is your pleasure, you will also meet your match here, since the Conference room seats up to 50. If health is an issue, rest assured; you can count on 24-hour medical service during your stay.
Food and Drink Options
Apartment living is ultimately meant for those who wish to prepare most, or at least some of their meals, but if you’re feeling a bit peckish, the Terrace bar serves up snacks and larger meals alike. Nearby shopping centres also contain an array of Spanish and international restaurants, so make it a point to order local dishes so you can savour a slice of the rich Tenerife culinary tradition. Siam Park, meanwhile, may be a water park, but it is already building up quite a reputation for its tempting Thai cuisine.

Management not being truthfull
"Malibu Park apartments- its a bit of a maze when you are in very difficult to find your room not enough directions. Some apartments are owned or rented next to yours that you are using and it can become quite noisy with people coming and going particularly when they are on shifts. The restaurant is still not available and you are farmed out to a lovely cafe and an Italian restaurant for half board The only difference was when it was Xmas day another family got the choice to change dinner restaurant for Xmas day and we did not. we were treated very unfairly. They told lies saying that the family had this booked before hand. I spoke to the family and they asked for something else on Xmas day as one of them did not like Italian. this is why they got it. There was no choice for us and Malibu Parky told me that this has been booked previously before they arrived.. This is untrue very unprofessional and very discriminated. I do not like being treated unfairly very disappointing of being told things that were not true. All we expected was to be treated like the other family which we were not. "

Worst hotel ever
"Booked this hotel as a last minute deal, so wasn't expecting too much. But what we did expect was basic cleanliness, we didn't get it. It was around 3 am when we arrived at the apartments, so we had a quick look around and went to bed. What we found in the cold light of day shocked us. The oven we had was filthy and didn't work properly. The crockery was chipped and stained, and the apartment as a whole was very jaded and dirty. My wife went for a shower, and let out a scream as she pulled the shower curtain round the bath, half a dozen cockroaches fell into the bath. As i went to her aide a saw some more scuttling across the floor. When we complained to the hotel reception they basically ignored us. We saw the Thom sons Rep and all he was bothered about was trying to sell us tickets for trips they were doing. To cut a long story short we spent every day of our holiday out of the apartment from early morning to very late at night. We basically just slept there. On the last morning there my wife threw back the bed sheet we had been sleeping under to find we had been sharing it with some of our cockroach roommates. My advice to anyone thinking of staying at the Malibu Park Apartments is don't. Believe the many bad reviews on here they are the truth of what you will experience. "

Don't stay at this dump , social housing accommodation .
"When we eventually found the entrance I was very disappointed . The reception area was scruffy dark and dismal . The man who showed us to the room was scruffy and could not speak any English , It was like a rabbit warren inside trying to get to the room via dirty dug up pathways . Our room was located in an unlit concrete area next to some dark concrete steps leading to the easy exit metal gate . The room was scruffy with curtains ganging off the hooks . Our neighbors were local people with scruffy ripped parasol and a push bike on veranda . We was unable to locate a safe in the room. Then after 10 min we felt it was unsafe for us to stay here. We handed the joey back and found another hotel to stay in . It was confined to us later that this is used for a lot of social housing for local people . Had we known this prior we would not have booked here Thus place is located up a very steep hill in a scruffy part of town . The majority of the shops were either unoccupied or boarded up . I am astounded that it has been given 3stars as this is not the case and the pics you see on some review sites are not true pics. I can only assume the one bed apartments differ the the studios but I still would not advise you take the risk if staying here ."

We had a great stay in Malibu
"We are just back from this Apart hotel. We are family of 4 with two small children. The staff was very helpful and nice, rooms were basic but that was all we needed. The rooms were cleaned everyday. Hotel is situated at the hill alright, but is not as bad as people say here, besides you can ask for the key to the gate at the other side of the hotel so you won't have to climb if that is a problem. The pool was great for us as well as for our two boys (3 and 7 yrs old). The splash bar was excellent, lovely friendly owners and good choice of drinks, food was standard and good value. We eat in many different places, our boys like pizza so we mostly went to Italian- Pinocchio across the road from the hotel, it has a little playground so the boys were occupied when waiting for food. Beach is very near less than 2km- few beaches to choose from. There is center near by and other bigger and cheaper supermarket just 1.5 km away: Mercadona. We went to Siam Parke-20 minutes walk from the hotel or taxi â¬4. Fantastic park. We also went to aqua land which is just 2 minutes from Malibu it was good, plenty of attractions but not as breathtaking and modern as Siam Park, Loro Park really worth it to visit but it is all day trip. When in Siam Park buy your tickets to Loro Parke ( you get good discount) and ask about free bus from Playa de Las Americas. We bought twin tickets that included the bus but the bus was going 2h one way, the other is not as long and buying tickets when in Siam Park or the other way around is cheaper. We were very happy with our stay and I honestly recommend Malibu Park to anybody, it is great location, friendly staff, clean and safe! "

If You Stay In This Hotel Be Prepared To Have Items Stolen From Your Room!
"The images shown for malibu park are not the ones you will see when you arrive, the hotel staff are rude unhelpfull and unintrested in you, a number of times we complained only to be laughed at and ignored, they even went as far to swear at us because we complained, as a result of complaining we had are jewlery stolen, you need a safe to put all valuables in, we did purchurse one but it was not very big at all, keep locks on cases to avoid clothing being stolen as that happened to us to, they turned out hot water off because we were not happy with their service we had freezing cold showers the sea was warmer than their showers! They do not give you clean towels unless you ask, even then you have to wait 40 minutes for them, my sister had to dry herself with their euro hair dryer provided by the hotel before they finally give us a towel, Bed sheets were not changed unless you take them off the bed and throw them on the floor, we found bugs in our room and come out in rashes off their bedding, when you book the holiday they say 10-15 min from the bars and clubs its 25-30 mins and steep hills the hotel is in the mountins and you need a taxi to get back the hotel and the taxi will cost you 10 pound a go! They dont give u covers either we had a bed sheet thats all you get Veronicas is the main strip Joycees club is the best club on the island. The weather is hot of a day but cool of a night. "

not as bad as everyone make out
"well what can i say,was so worried about staying here.I did not read the reviews until after i had booked and was mortified with what i read and did not want to go.we stayed for one week during feb half term with my son and his friend, both fourteen and we were all plesantly surprised. The appartment had been recently painted and it was clean and tidy.the maids came in daily to change towels and clean. All the equipment supplied worked although basic. We were not burgled and only saw three cockroaches in our seven days.None of us felt unsafe at anytime during our stay. The pool bar was lovely, recently took over by a father and son, well run with good food available. Not to far from beach, shops, bars and restaurants, highly recommend the grand paella restaurant on the front, very good food although you may have to queue well worth the wait."

"Stayed here for 1 week, the rooms are ok for what you expect for 3 star hotel, the biggest problems are rooms are very noisy, the walls sound like they are made of paper, and the staff at the hotel are not very polite and you feel its a struggle for them to want to help and give advice. Would not reccomend stying here, especially if you want wifi, the hotel does not supply wifi, however the Next door Bar in the hotel does, but you have to spend money in the bar to use it, which is ok, but they are greedy and rude and do not know the meaning of customer service, you could spend 500 euros and they would still complain if you used the wifi without buying something, the owner is rude and tries to intimidate, happy to take your money and put on a fake smile, but thats it."

DONT GO WORST HOLIDAY EVER.
"We arrived to be welcomed by a scruffy reception area with an even sruffy lookin ignorant receptionist!rooms very basics pulled bed out from under sofa and a tennis ball size of black hair blew out from underneath! the towels and sheets had holes in them they werent changed all week we were there.lizards and cockroaches in our room all the time!no air con at all unless you hired it for the week at an extra cost!the pool ruined my kids swim shorts as they put cylican round the pool to stop the leaks but no sign warnin this!the pool didnt get cleaned once we were there, there was grime around the edge from sun oils. My kids came home with verucose on there feet! one final complant was i was awarded on my last day with 15 euro fine...yes 15 euros..for gettin makeup on towels so was fined 5 euro per towel!! never again would i go there i felt dirty the whole week weather was fab. dirty scruffy horrible place"

"considering there is a sign no dogs people had dogs barking throughout the night and had muzzles on. pool area by end of day littered with cans and bottles and lager etc being tipped into pool during day.accomodation wasnt ready so moved to another room not set up for 3 people.had to phone twice for bedding etc .fridge defrosted and ruined weeks shopping had to fight to get a fridge that worked. lights not working in kitchen and balcony took 2 days to get fixed.window in bedroom would not shut or lock that took 3 days to get sorted out, bit was told it was fine, but you cld climb in when shut. Rep was only interested in doing his hours and wanted to get off ontime and wasnt bothered abt guests. He cld not make a discussion for himself, he always phoned the manager of Thomas Cook. Not enough keys for side gate, so if you didnt know abt this, you wld have to walk up the hill and it took 4ever. It was a low star, it took over 4 hrs to boil an egg and even then, it wasnt edible and had to throw eggs out. Wasnt well eguipped to stay there as a self catering holiday, having a microwave wld have made the difference as the cooker didnt work properly, also you dont expect to have to pay for tv or radio also shld have had air conditioning, but the staff advised us that we cld have a fan for the room at a additional charge, which is not very good, as you pay enough for self catering. Spanish people were not friendly at all. "
