Worst hotel ever!!
"This has to be the worst "4star" hotel I have been to! Check in and reception staff- appalling very unhelpful Food-very average, also saw 3 cockroaches in the restaurant Pool area- had a dirty feel and sunbeds very limited Entertainment staff- very unprofessional were interested in themselves and who was looking at them Kids club- not a kids club when staff are watching pool and chatting amongst themselves could not leave my 5yr old daughter in there Rooms- we had 2 different rooms as 1st room faced a noisy club which went on till early hours 2nd room was slightly better but not great to have to pay 120 euros to have a bit of peace and quite at bedtime Rooms- large and spacious bed very very hard Maid service- excellent Would I stay here again? Not a chance we were booked on a 2 week holiday and after 5 days we had to get our rep to move us which she did to the Iberostar Torviscas Playa which was absolutely fantastic, fabulous food excellent staff and brilliant entertainment staff. Lovely hotel and staff
"My husband & I stayed here in September 2012. Our first time in Tenerife and we'll definitely return. The hotel is lovely, lots of pool space and no hunt the sunbed which was great. The staff are very friendly, polite and attentive. The entertainment was varied ( day and night ). My husband's a fussy eater and I'm a veggie and we found lots of choice at mealtimes. The rooms were kept very clean with daily maid service. Air-con kept the room nice & cool at night. We'd stay at the Jacaranda again without hesitating. Our thanks to the staff for ensuring we had a great holiday!!"

END OF MARCH 2012
"This hotel is large and clean, but we dident like having to give our room number every single time we went to a bar. also the beds are rock h ard, and there was no sandwiches or food in the piano bar as instructed.and what really did grate on us was we arrived at 10.15 pm on the tuesday, and dident leave until 7.30 on the following tuesday, but they cut our bands off and stopped all inclusive other than our lunch that day, i mean i have never known the likes of that ever."

a thoroughly brilliant holiday, enjoyed by all?!
"as a family of mixed age group, we can honestly say we have enjoyed this holiday, the rooms we're a fantastic size, clean and spacious. the pool was brilliant for everyone, especially having 2 young children who can't swim. the entertainment at night was really good, the kids couldn't get enough of the dancing and are still dancing at home. the hotel was beautiful, clean and the food was good and the surrounding area was nice. can't wait to go back again! Loud music, poor entertainment and average food
"On arrival we were greeted by very loud music which we could hear within our room, we asked to move rooms but none were available. Be prepared to get up early to claim your sun lounger,as they were all taken before breakfast with the placing of towels !!! The food is average, much the same choice each day and the dininng area lacks any atmosphere. Staff unfriendly and appeared not to want guests to stay in the hotel day or nighttime. Alcoholic drinks appeared lacking in taste. Beware of the beds moving due to castors !!! The entertainment, if you can call it that is very amateurish. The safety rail in the bath and shower head were loose. Not what we expected for a 4 star hotel. The only plus for this hotel is the location, great for the beach, which we spent most days on and the Divine bar nearby, owned by Joe and Tina, with fabulous singers each night and a very warm welcome. We ended up eating out most days, with a fabulous choice of food. Make sure you visit Harriets tea shop, their cakes are lovely. Well worth a visit or two. The beach and shops at Los Christinos are worth a visit too. But we would not advise the free excursion, ie the blanket trip, unless you want to sit in a classroom for over an hour listening to a sales talk on murino wool products. We eventually moved rooms as the loud music was spoiling our holiday, ended up listening to the traffic. If we had wanted music blaring out by the pool we would have booked Ibiza !!!"
