"Situated perfect: close to (small and large) beaches, close to the centre of the boulevard, but no "sound-pollution". Each and every apt. has a bath! On Lanzarote unfortunately nowadays theft and crimes, but Playa Club has an 24-hours reception with vigilant personnel.
You must pay (rent) for the safe, but watching TV is for free! Yes there are cockroaches, but you'll find them all over the island! No guarantees, but on 2nd floor (and higher): less cockroaches!
Check the bar: it's spacious enough, see inside, say hello to Salim for me!
In the (any) restaurant: unless it's very buzy, be a little bit assertive, explain you're in a hurry (white lie).

Very friendly staff
"Start of visit 12th February 2006
We stayed at the Playa Club Apartments for a week; the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and garden areas were kept spotless. Our apartment, although basic was quite adequate and comfortable and cleaned on a regular basis. Nice touch of a bottle of wine for us on arrival. A Netto supermarket can be accessed via the pool area, just ask in reception for a card which opens the door. Plenty of bars and places to eat out, we particulary liked Puerto Bahia, which is at the harbour. The apartments are situated just off the main road, we didn't encounter any noise from the clubs, bars, restaurants etc. at night. On the downside, the bar promoters do get a bit annoying when you're out for a stroll but they can also be amusing. Trips to Timanfaya National Park, Los Hervideros,El Golfo and Jameos del Agua well worth a visit."

Playa Club good
"We recently stayed at the Playa Club apartments in Lanzarote. It was our first "sun" holiday and we didn't get much sun but the hotel was very clean and right in the middle of everything.
It is just off the main street and a short walk down to the big beach. The pool is a good size and there is an inexpensive food shop just behind the complex.
Our only complaint is that they do not have double beds, but this appears to be the norm for "continental" Europe. Even the four star hotel down the road has two single beds shoved together.
Anyhow, if we head back again we'll certainly stay here and eat at the Brassiere (sp?) on the main street. Several people recommended Il Tomatoe. It was horrible. Service was snarly, food average and price expensive. Instead hit the tapas bar down the hill instead- bogata I think was the name."

"Beautiful apartment complex. We spent 2 weeks there and enjoyed it thoroughly. Rooms are nice, clean with a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Good kitchen with all the basics.
Lovely location just a few minutes walk from the beach and the commercial centre but also taxis are very cheap if you didnât feel like walking! Friendly staff also. The only thing about the place is the pool sometimes had dirt floating in it and could have done with a clean and the bar was tiny!!
Other than that great place great holiday. unforgettable will definitely be going back here"

"Just come back from Lanzarote, our stay in the apartments was pleasant. It is in an ideal location, with just a short stroll down the seafront to the main strip of bars and restaurants, and the main beach 'playa grande'. The rooms were very spacious-we stayed in a 5bed apt and we were very impressed. Some of the smaller apt are not as nice and do not have a bath. The grounds are clean and tidy, always staff about doing odd jobs and clearing up. The pool is fairly big with plenty of sunbeds.
The pool had dirt floating in it though on the last few days so could do with a clean. The bar is tiny we didnât go there. The restaurant did a great English breakfast!! 3 euros and delicious!, service was really slow though. Lots of cats and kittens live on the complex but they are cute! Overall good choice.
