Great stay

Reviewed Fri 11th of June 2010

"We stayed for three weeks at Laguneta we were in the older block across the road from the main complex. For the first week we were the only guests and it was bliss. The apartment was cleaned daily except weekends and towels changed and couple of times a week. Kitchen was basic and functional and they even provide tea towels. It was not the most modern apartment and the furniture was old but functional and the cost was a bargain. Miguel was a perfect host and cleaned the pool twice a week just for us.Hot water was provided by the solar panels on the roof and was really hot. If you want a simple get away from it all budget accomadation this is the place. It's an easy pleasant walk down on to the front and you have a massive choice of places to eat or shop and you are far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas not to be disturbed. The only complaint is that these appartments back on to Los Tulipanes and when they have a karaoke night it can be a bit cringe worthy. Aiming to go back again in 2010 "

Clean but basic budget accomodation

Reviewed Mon 9th of March 2009

"Recently returned from an excellent week at La Laguneta apartments. Within easy reach of a small supermarket, open 8am to 9pm. Highly recommend the wine in cartons priced at around 1euro a litre. Accomodation was pretty basic but cleaned daily (except weekends)Towels changed twice weekly, but sheets only once. Taxi from airport was was 12.50 E and to airport was 10.50E. The pool and gardens were spotless. The pool felt a little cold at first but was OK once you got in, and we had it all to ourselves. Reception was closed between 1pm and 5pm and after 9pm. but only really needed it for bottled water.TV was limited to CNN news, eurosport and the Lanzarote channel, but there are TV's in just about all the bars on the "strip". Serious self caterers who actually like to cook would be limited by the lack of an oven and cooking utensils, but we managed fine with the two rings, fridge and microwave. Found out on the last day that we could have had a toaster too, if we had asked Miguel (the owner) for one. All in all I would recommend these apartments for anyone that wants a quiet budget break."

"We stayed in this apartment as a cheap break and as usual wondered what to expect as we had got such a bargain!

The apartments were clean and well furnished. Great privacy within the complex and as though you have a pool all to yourself.

Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main street and close enough to get right into it. Some fabulous views and excursions. The people of Lanzarote are really friendly and make you welcome. Some great fish restaurants.

Highly recommend the apartment.
