About Elena Apartments
Guests love staying at the Elena Apartments resort, and it’s not hard to see why. The hotel offers a straightforward and pleasant holiday experience, with thoughtful and clean apartments — maid service is five times a week — and a traditional pool area ensuring the needs of the guests are met. It is located right in the centre of Lanzarote’s busiest resort, Puerto del Carmen, which means there is plenty of nightlife, bars, restaurants, and shops as soon as you leave the hotel. With well-sized one and two bedroom apartments, which include a kitchenette, you’ll be well positioned to have a relaxing break in the sunshine of Lanzarote. The beach is just a short walk from the hotel while there’s also a bus stop should you want to explore other parts of the island. With a pleasant pool area and sun terraces that have plenty of sun loungers, the Elena Apartments resort is the place to be for a memorable stay in a great resort, without the expensive cost.
Room Information and Room Facilities
Elena Apartments offers two types of accommodation styles: one bedroom apartments and two bedroom apartments. The one bedroom apartments feature a twin bedroom with a pull-out sofa in the lounge, while the two bedroom apartments provide the same, but with an additional twin bedroom. Larger families will prefer to stay in a two bedroom apartment, as there will be enough space for everybody and you can create a good, homey atmosphere. Whichever room type you stay in, you’ll have the same great facilities. Apartments come with a kitchen, which features a sink, burner rings, oven, and refrigerator. There’s also a small breakfast bar. Each room also comes with a balcony or terrace.
Facilities, Entertainment, Activities
As you’re in the heart of Puerto del Carmen, the options for entertainment and activities are endless. Just a short walk from the hotel is the beach, where you can try your hand at water sports, including banana boats and windsurfing. At the hotel, you can relax next to the pool or jump in to cool down from the island’s formidable weather. There’s a small pool for kids, so they can splash around in the water without any danger. The on-site pool bar is a great place to hang out and meet some of your fellow holidaymakers, or just sit and enjoy an ice-cream in the evening. There’s a pool table, so you and your friends and family can host your own pool tournament — get some of the other guests involved and find out who is the true hotel champion! To help you have a comfortable stay, the towels are changed twice-weekly and linens once per week. There is also a safety deposit box to keep your valuables safe. Internet access is also available, so you can check in with your family back home or take care of any urgent business while you’re away.
Food and Drink Options
As you’ll be staying in the heart of Puerto del Carmen, you’ll be within easy walking distance of dozens of restaurants and bars. Because of this you’ll be able to sample a different menu every meal, should you wish. Restaurants are typically affordable, while there is just about every type of bar in which you can stay well into the night. At the hotel, there is a pool bar that serves drinks and small snacks to keep you going throughout the day. As you have a full kitchen in your apartment, you also have the choice to purchase your food and drinks at a supermarket and prepare the meal yourself, which you can then consume on your private balcony.

Elena Apartments very welcoming MAY 2012
"The Elena was my first of hotel in Lanzarote as I have had previously been before. As we arrived the coach transfer drops you off near the road the apartments are on which has the pub called Bottles on the corner. The reception staff were polite and very helpful giving us a clear to read map of the hotel room plan and facilities. The room was quaint , clean, smelt fresh. (not a single cockroach seen in the whole week in Lanzarote) The apartments are cleaned 4 times a week to make beds etc. They have a reasonable sized pool and also a kids pool which were both spotless. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from scattered around the pool area. The hotel bar has 3 big screens and shows all televised sports including football, F1 etc. It also plays music from MTV mostly, Bar sometimes offers karaoke when the resort is busy. At the side of the bar outside is a pool table (american pool style) which cost 1 Euro to play. The bar has a selection of reasonable priced drinks from a pint of Tropical lager (local beer) for only 2 Euros to spirits or cocktails and it also has a wide selection of food. The bar staff are exceptional at their job and would entertain you throughout your stay. I would definitely be going back but for longer next time. "

Good location for beach
"E-mailed the owner before travelling to ask for a sunny room, never got one though, instead got room 402 which has a great big palm tree touching the very small balcony and putting us in the shade. Apartments are set in 3 blocks, the third being across the road which would have suited us better as they had large balconys all facing the sun.Our room had two bedrooms and a large bathroom all very clean although the second bedroom smelt musty & damp which we did'nt use. There was a large fridge freezer and full size oven.Towells and bedding changed once in the week. It seems if you had a room around the pool you could get one or two of the many old broken sunbeds and put a towell on them to stop anyone else from having them then go out for the day and collect your towell when you return, you could do this daily...!!!The pool bar was clean with food served all day."

"Great apartments...easy to find. Despite using Resort Hopper and being dropped off down the strip near Tropicana and having to find our own way and then paying for a taxi to take us. In fact...don't bother with Resort Hopper they didn't even pick us up either despite calling and calling to find out where the shuttle was. *SIGH* Anyway the apartment was cleaned on a regular basis, nearly everyday and was done to a high standard. Atlantico, the place where all the bars and clubs are, is literally across the road from the front entrance and is handy if your coming back from a drunken night out. I was at the back of the hotel (Room 403, 2 bedroom) and I could still hear the music but it didn't bother me. However the window to 1 of the rooms was right on the street. Security is tight as they close the doors to the front and back entrances every night and need a key to enter. I didn't really use the pool bar or the pool at all. There is internet access...1 computer in reception 50 cents is 10 minutes. Enough dishes and adequate facilities for cooking your own meals. Downside though is that the balconies are not big enough but I barely used mine. And also there are no English channels on the tv just a few shows played in English, Disney Channel mainly is English all the time. Great hotel...great stay. Beach is 5 minutes away. Atlantico is 2 minutes away. Best place for a night out is Nikki Beach. Best place to eat is American Indian Bar. Take an excursion and don't just stay in the resort you'll get bored, I took a full tour of Fuerteventura for 44 euros (lunch included) and I went Costa Teguise for a day too, 23 euros there and back by taxi. Visit the shopping mall as well."

"These apartments were situated close to everything, BUT be prepared for noise from the Centro which these apartments back onto until 5.30am. We arrived back on the 5th August 2010 after a two week stay. The apartments are clean and spacious, BUT the balcony's are small. Whilst we were there we the Elena Apartments were taken over by loads of Irish (ignorant to everyone else who were staying there) families who proceeded to take over the place with foul language all day long even from the youngsters and they did not awake till 12pm and ran riot till 2-5am and hardly anything was said. The people who worked there must of gone home with a headache!! I would only recommend these apartments to people who sleep all day after clubbing all nite!! The Porter Family 22/7/10 - 5/8/10"

"This was the first time at these apartments. The staff are fantastic and so friendly, Paulo from the pool bar is great. Edwardo was really funny and even put on tapas and a karaoke free when it was his birthday. It is really clean and we got ungraded to a 2 bed when we were only expecting a 1 bed. The beds are really uncomfortable but the rest makes up for it. We met in with a great crowd round the pool and thoroughly enjoyed our 12 days there."

"Me and my boyfriend went to Lanzarote as our first holiday alone, we booked via Sunmaster and got a great deal for 2 weeks. My boyfriend had been to Lanzarote several times before with his family, but first time in this resort. When we first got there we was very shocked at the size of the apartment and how equipped it was, although we was only self catering we had everything we needed! Nightlife is great if your looking for a clubbing holiday, there is a mixture of pubs, bars and clubs! Resturants are fantastic! The whole 2weeks we never had a bad meal! Transport is very good, I would recommend buses rather than taxi's, we made the mistake of getting a taxi to and from Costa Teguise which ended up costing $45! We found the buses very frequent and very easy to get! We travelled to Playa Blanca and Costa Teguise for 2 one way it cost under $5! The staff are very friendly, very nice atmosphere in the bar! We loved 'Pablo' the barman! The pool is a good size, when we went it was abit cold but we managed to get in!! The beach is less than 100m away! It is a gorgeous beach, beds cost $8 per day, which works out very expensive! The sea was lovely, definetly recommend taking a bread roll in with you and see the size of the fish swimming very shallow around your feet!! Best Holiday together so far!! Will be going back this year with all the family! Had an amazing 2weeks!"
