Room Information and Room Facilities

The rooms also feature a kitchen or kitchenette, so you can prepare your own meals when you don’t feel like venturing out. There is also digital television (paid) and plenty of seating in each room.
The apartments come with one or two bedrooms, so the guests can decide which is best for them depending on who they are travelling with. Families will be best suited to a two bedroom apartment, as this will keep everybody together while still ensuring everybody has enough space to call their own.

In terms of activities, there is a playground for children and a dedicated children’s swimming pool, so they can play by themselves without disturbing the adults. There’s also a solarium, and a massage service available for those who really want to treat themselves to something special while on holiday.
The resort places a high priority on making sure its guests are entertained, so expect to hear plenty of laughter around the hotel — if it’s not the children’s entertainer, it’ll be the staff making someone’s holiday extra special.
Just a short trip away from the hotel you’ll find beach activities, including volleyball and windsurfing, along with golf courses and theme parks.
Food and Drink Options
The Atlantis Las Lomas Apartments resort is room-only, but there are options to dine at the hotel. There is a buffet restaurant on-site, which is ideal for breakfasts. There are also two bars (season dependent) in which you can enjoy a few drinks with friends.
Just a few minutes away from the hotel are many bars and restaurants offering an affordable dining experience. Take your pick from any number of food types and enjoy yourself.
Alternatively, as each apartment has cooking facilities, you can head down to the local supermarket and enjoy your home-cooked food on your private balcony or terrace. Pick up a bottle of wine, too, to make it an extra special occasion.

"As a family we have stayed at Atlantis/Las Lomas for the last four year's. Think they are now getting it right by putting new window's and door's in. When we stayed there in 2005 my husband witnessed two burglary's. So we would recomened you don't leave clothes on the drier over night if you have a down stair's appartment! Our bedding was only changed once a week but the towel's were every other day. Had everything we wanted in our appartment but I'm afraid the bad weather has sent us to The Gambia this year. Last year in Lanzarote for 2 week's and we spent too much time in the appartment's and not enough time round the pool soaking up the sun. We even had to hire a fan heater it was so cold!!!. If you want a holiday as a couple away from kid's, ball games and the like ask for the Las Lomas side."

great value for money
"I stayed at the atlantis las loma between the 7th and 14th dec with my husband and parents. We had booked a two bedroom apartment on alpharooms for a very reasonable price and were a little concerned that there would not be much room for the four of us in just the one apartment. However when we arrived the hotel had arranged for us to have two separate one bedroom apartments at no extra cost, which was great as we then had plenty of room.
The weather was the worst i had seen on a canary island before (it rained non stop for six days) and we had a problem with the balcony doors leaking a bit. The staff were very helpful and sent someone to clean our room straight away.
Overall i enjoyed staying at the atlantis las lomas and would definately stay again just not in december!"

Great for families
"My husband & I travelled to the Atlantis las Lomas with our family including 2 granddaughters aged 4 & 6.
For them it was ideal....they made friends and the pool was on the doorstep so they had a ball. The apartments are well equipped with kettle, toaster & microwave and we found they were clean, spacious and fairly well kept. The maids came in regularly and the towels and sheets were changed when we expected it. The pools were all well kept but I felt that the walkways and external areas could benefit from an upgrade. We were in a little annex of blocks numbers 5 & 6 which should have been quieter but unfortunately if you are in a lower apartment and you have party animals up above you it can get a little noisy! That is the luck of the draw and no reflection on the quality of the accommodation.
The apartments are well placed for the beach and although 'cardiac hill' is steep it is mercifully short...
We found it easier to exit the complex beside Cesar's restaurant and it was a short and fairly flat walk to the Biosfera CC and a well stocked Spar."

"Returned to Lanzarote for the 3rd time this year between 21/9 to 5/10. Have previously stayed at the Flora Appts in the Old Town and Ria Olivia at the other end of Puerto del Carmen. Was really surprised bythe Atlantis. The apartment we had overlooked the main pool and was upstairs, which I would recommend, a couple staying below us had their room broken into one night! The resort was clean and the staff extreemly helpful. I would recommend paying for a late check out if you have an evening flight becasue it can be very hot sitting around after midday!
Yes we found Cardiac Hill on our first day but managed to find 2 short cuts down to the main strip one a set of stairs which come out by Linekers Bar and another that takes you round the back and a less steep hill.
Although we spent the first week around the pool we decided to try the beach and I would recommend this to anyone as the sunbeds come with an umbrella, there is not alot of shade around the pool and it was hot!
Would recommend the Grand Tour of the Island, good value for money and you get to see area's of the Island you wouldnt normally see.
Eating out in PDC is an experiance, you name it and you can get it!. We found a restaurant called Pinnochios (next to Waikiki Bar) on our first visit and would recommend this to anyone, good food and friendly staff, brilliant with kids!
The only downer is the bar PR's. they will hassle you and when you are just walking along for a quiet night and get hassled every step, think they should start curbing this as it has definatly got worse over the last few years!
Would recommend this for both families and anyone who wants a nice time."

Relaxed, central location
"Good location near to old part of town and close to beach via short but steep hill. Apartments basic but clean, towels and sheets changed regularly. Swimming pools clean and no problem getting a lounger. Childrens entertainment low key but kids love Daniel especially when he does his clown act. Mini market on site very basic but 2 supermarkets within 5 minute walk. Apartments on right hand side of complex can be a bit noisy when refuse bins emptied early in the morning but otherwise quiet location. Would recommend Mario's resturant in old town a long walk but well worth it."

Clean, friendly, well situated
"My boyfriend and I have just returned from a weeks stay in the atlantis apartments, puerto del carmen and, after a bad first night, overall had a fantastic week away!!
After being one of the last to be dropped off we were led by the rep to the reception area where the check in process was extremely quick and efficient. The receptionist was friendly and spoke very good english, explaining on a map exactly where our apartment would be found.
There was a lot of steps to carry my suitcase up, which was a bit of a struggle, but it didn't bother me - after all these apartments are only 2* and I didn't expect any special treatment, i'm not one to complain about something as trivial as that!
However when we got to the apartment, we unlocked the door to a pitch black room. We searched around for the light which we eventually found to discover we had no power whatsoever. I then saw something small and black on the floor and said to my boyfriend 'what's that?' to which he laughed and said 'it's a leaf!' and kicked it, which to my horror, scuttled across the floor and under the bed!!!
So we left our suitcases and went back to the reception. Again the receptionist was very helpful and phoned the security guard who agreed to meet us at our apartment. He went in and flipped a switch in the kitchen area (something had tripped - god knows what that means!!!) but now we had light. We then asked him what to do about the cockroaches to which he just shrugged his shoulders!!!
We decided to leave the apartment and go and get a drink at the bar to try to pluck up the courage to go back and deal with the cockroaches.
On walking to the bar we saw another couple who looked very unhappy and we asked them what was wrong. It turned out they had the same problem - cockroaches!!! We all ended up having a few drinks before returning - armed with coca cola cups!!! We captured 4 in our apartment and a couple in theirs!! Needless to say I went to bed very scared that night!!!!
The next day at the welcome meeting we informed the rep about the problem and without any hesitation she got us a room change to an apartment upstairs (we had been given one downstairs before). And I never spotted another one inside our apartment for the rest of the week!!
We had booked a studio apartment and I was expecting it be quite small and cramped, but it turned out to be perfectly sized. The kitchen had everything you could want - hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and they were all brand new appliances aswell. The bathroom only had a shower - no bath but it was ok. The wardrobe was massive with lots of hangers.
The apartment was cleaned most days, the towels were changed about twice I think and the bedding once. I found this to be more than satisfactory.
The apartments are also very close to the pool so you can return with ease at any time. There was lots of sunbeds to go round and the pool was fantastic - the sort you would expect to find in a 4*, never mind a 2*!
While we were there we went on the catalanza trip - a trip on a catamaran!! It worked out about £45 each and it was a good day which I would recommend. It departs from Puerto Calero which a bus will take you to from Puerto del carmen. It then sails out and drops anchor near papagayo beach. You then have the chance to go for a swim round the boat, sunbathe and there is a jet ski too! You are then served lunch - pasta, tomatoey sauce, salad and bread. Its great on a really hot day as you catch the sun without feeling too hot and sweaty as it is so windy. However, because of this, don't take too much stuff with you as things have a tendency to go flying overboard i.e. someone's ipod!!
The apartments are also only a 5 minute walk from the centre of puerto del carmen where you will be spoilt for choice with restaurants - easily somewhere different to eat every night. If you want to go out drinking however dont go on the organised bar crawl with first choice, I thought it was rubbish and a bit boring! You can make a better night yourself! Route 66 was really good!
Although the centre is so close, it is reached via cardiac hill - and yes - it is as bad as everyone makes out!! It is quite short, but i'm sure it was more or less vertical!!!
The shopping centre is quite close to Atlantis also with shops such as Mango and Zara. The best shop to go for food-wise is definitely Spa although it took us ages to find! So make sure you ask your rep exactly where it is!!
Our flight home wasn't until 9 in the evening and so we booked a late checkout from our rooms - we didn't have to leave until 6pm. I would definitely recommend this if your flight is a late one - otherwise they ring you up at 12pm asking you to get out!!!
Overall we had a fantastic week away and can't fault the Atlantis apartments or First Choice, especially in the way they dealt with the problem we had."

loved the room home from home
"idealy located in the centre of all the action between the more quiet romantic old town and the non stop wine bars pups and clubs of the new part of porto del carmen. links to all excursions within walking distance, and the beach is a totaly breath taking experience the appartments are comfortable and spacious the staff could have been more helpful but i found my first choice rep a valuable addition to the holiday. you have to go up the volcano i went on the sunset tour it was totaly magical a site i hope i never forget and i also recomed the submarine it was unbelivable suitable for all ages (as long as you dont mind enclosed places ) the best thing for me though was the safe felling i had in and arround the appartment blocks i am planning on going back by myself as i felt that comfortable i cant wate to go back and i aim to do so every year till i die i am definatly in love with the island the fantastic beach excellent cuisine and the mixture of all sorts of shops and bars make it suitable for everyone no matter what you want from youre holiday."

Atlantis, a heavenly stay
"What can I say, except a wonderful, calmful 2 week stay topped off with 2 weeks of pure sunshine. The people who have left previous write ups must have stayed at another hotel.
When we arrived at the hotel our room was ready. On entering the room we were very impressed with what we got. Definately value for money.
During the holiday the room was cleaned 5 days a week and the cleaner was very friendly. The beds were always re made and floors swept and mopped, the bathroom cleaned and fresh towels on every visit. The cleaner also made funny animal shapes out of the towels which we found very funny.
The grounds are swept up every day and all loose leaves and any litter was picked up. The pool was exceptionally clean and to be honest the whole complex was kept well.
I am a very fussy person as my wife will tell anyone, but I could not fault this complex.
The French maintenance guy is hilarious. He speaks Spanish and French and a bit of English and is a must see if you visit the hotel. You must say 'bonjour' to him.
The safe in the room is like Fort Knox. It is huge and is available for hire. But we had no problems and the cleaner was very trustworthy.
If you like hot water, you will get it here. It comes out piping hot.
The TV in the room is free and there are 8 channels to choose from.
The kids entertainer man is very loud and you can hear him on the beach, which is a short walk away.
One thing to also tell you is the small walk to the beach is down a hill. Downside is when you have to walk up it to come back to the hotel. It is called 'Cardiac Hill' and believe me it is VERY steep!!! Especially when you are drunk. The brochure does mention this.
So overall a superb place to stay, staff are very friendly and complex very well kept.
We will definately stay there again."

"We Stayed at the Alantis/Las Lomas, Puerto Del Carmen, for one week beginning 3th April, we thought the hotel was good, the complex was clean, spacious rooms, nice swimming pools, good location for numerous bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The only negative comment i would make was that the maid service wasnt the best as we didnt have our room cleaned for a few days! The hotel is located on the top of a hill which didnt bother us to much after we needed the exercise after all the lovely food we enjoyed, if you cant make it up the hill taxis were only 2 euros. We would recomend THE TAVERN for a good english breakfast and snacks, which is located on the beach front. Lanzarote is great for many bars, restaurants but not too lively as there is something for every one, we also enjoyed trips to the harbour for fresh seafood and breath taking views. Linekers bar is also a good spot too watch all the sports and friendly bar staff. Would recomend this hotel and resort to all ages! would visit again soon!"

"Have just returned from a week's holiday at this complex and was very pleased with the value for money. I travelled with my parents (acting as their tour guide) and we booked a 2 bed apartment. The bedrooms had 2 single beds (which were very comfortable) and plenty of space for clothes. The kitchen equipment was in good order and clean (kettle, toaster, microwave, 2 ring hotplate, fridge with freezer compartment). Plenty of cutlery/crockery (but no mugs, only cups). The complex was very clean and well maintained (swept and tidied every morning) and the pool water was checked twice a day and cleaned every morning. Maid service was 5 days out of 7 (so your bins don't get emptied on 2 days). We were towards the back of the complex in the Las Lomas area and it was really peaceful.
The reception staff were very friendly and efficient and spoke very good English (when my patchy Spanish wasn't quite up to it). The location of the complex is very good - 2 minutes to the beach albeit via the steep 'Cardiac Hill' (c/Guanapay). The only slight negative about the whole place was the on-site restaurant. We had food from there on one evening and were extremely glad that we were self-catering not half board. We booked online through Eclipse Direct and travelled with First Choice (but didn't have a transfer as we hired a car). I would be happy to go back to these apartments again, as long as it was in the quieter part."

"myself and my partner visited atlantis las lomas last year and as it wasn't in the school holidays there was always plenty of pool space and plenty of sun loungers. My only bug bear is that there were always at least five cockroaches in the room when we came back from a night out. one of them was so big, it wouldn't fit under a cup. we had to put a bowl over it. Wasn't very nice when you've been out and had a few! they seemed to hide everywhere ... in the sink, in the bathroom, in the cupboards. Also seemingly the walls and floors of the apartments are very thin as we would constantly be awoken to the room above having sex at ungodly hours, Made the whole experience very disappointing. We stayed at the kontiki apartments just across the street the year before and had no such problems. id recommend staying there instead"
