"These apartments are situated in the Old Town up a hill from the harbour area, therefore not really suitable for anyone with walking difficulties or the elderly. Some of the apartments have steps too although we were lucky enough and were on the same floor as the pool etc. We overlooked the harbour and a big part of the coastline and Fuerteventura, the sun always shone on the balcony - all apartments have one and we had a very relaxing holiday, just what we went for. Staff were very helpful and friendly the spacious one bed roomed apartment was cleaned five times, towels changed three times on our one week stay it was also well equipped. We had no complaints at all whilst there. We did not use the pool but many did and we could see both children and adults alike there. We took the one day trip round the island and it was amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed it, we even took the included Camel Ride! this was very well organised and no the Camels did not smell and were not dirty!!. This was the only trip we took and it was well worth it, if you only take one trip take this one. The visit to the Los Jameos Del Agua park (included in the Island Tour) is something else and really not to be missed. Our favourite place to eat whilst there was Bodecos Restaurant a Polish/Irish Restaurant. On the way down to the harbour from the apartments on the left hand side passed the Aquarius apartments (I think that is the name of them) you will find Bodecos, another must!. Food was excellent and the craic was too. There are also some good eating places round the harbour area."

Good Location, Nice views, Everything you need from a 2 key Apt.
"Stayed here for a week in early April. The location is fine situated west of the old town but only a 2-3 min walk to the harbour. The apartments have a lovely view over the Harbour and sunbathing on the solarium is reccomended for this. The apt itself is normal size and I must say it was spotless. Add to this the room is made up 3 times while you are there (maids change sheets and tidy whole apt for you). You have all the bits and pieces you need if you wish to cook yourself or just make lunch. The pool is a bit small but this isnt a problem really. Also there are not many sunbeds around the pool so you have to be up early to get them. All in all this is a lovely place to stay and I would go back to them no problem. the staff are excellent and very, very helpful. Free internet access is available also. One gripe would be that some of the balconys are not very private. They sometimes face directly onto the pool or the solarium area. Maybe request with your travel agent to get a more private one."

Basic apartments with friendly helpful owners
"Apartment booked late direct with owners. Basic but everything you need. We had an excellent outlook overlooking the harbour but unfortunately the weather was poor all week. It rained continuously for two days and got quite cold in the unheated accommodation. Couple of problems with electrics both put right quickly by the always cheerful reception. Highly recommend the Mardelva restaurant just a short walk away."

gorgeous views, lovely people
"I decided to bring my three daughters (ages 19, 17 and 28) to Lanzarote for a week during Midterm last February because we were planning the wedding of my eldest and the other two were to be bridesmaids - we all needed some uninterrupted planning time....that is what we told their father anyway! We booked through our local travel agent and selected these apartments because they looked so gloriously Spanish and we were not disappointed! Our jaws dropped as we took in the gorgeous decor. It was obvious that the owner had great taste. We sat on our terraces, watched the sun disappear into the sea and congratulated ourselves on our own good taste for selecting these apartments. What we loved most about the Aguamarina: the view, the decor, the owner's friendliness, the location and the poolboy (!). What we would change: the arctic temperature of the pool. What we would like that wasn't there: a bigger selection of food in the bar. Gracias, Estefania."

Lovely place to stay
"Me and my husband stayed christmas week in the augamarina apartments on the 4th floor which i recommend to people if you are booking as you have your own private balcony and sun loungers. The apartments are very clean and spacious. The staff are lovely and understand english and can speak it too!! The apts are over looking the marina in the oldtown which has fabulous views and is only 10/15 mins walk from the newtown strip of Puerto del Carmen and about 2 mins walk to the pubs and resturants in the oldtown so the location is perfect a few hills but nothing major. Overall i would recommend these apartments but not to familys i think they are more suited to couples. We will defintiley go back and stay there!!"

Aguamarina apartments are located only a...
"Aguamarina apartments are located only a short walk away from the old town of Puerto Del Carmen and are in a lovely quiet and peaceful area. The beach is a little further but if you want to get a taxi it is only about 2 euro or less. Loads of beautiful restaurants and pubs and everyone very friendly. Staff in apartments are extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely views of the harbour from our room also. Small pool and pool bar but food good from it. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning and the rooms are really, really hot and stuffy especially at night. Would recommend them though and will definitely be going back."
