Very clean and good value for money!!
"These apartments are fantastic, they are in a very good location and offer very good facilities and very clean. I am a travel agent/tour operator and inspect hotels/apartments quite alot and these apartments in my opinion are a very high standard for the price you pay. I have just booked to go for christmas for the 3rd time.
Try a restaurant called the Montmarte(wonderful french restaurant) a short taxi ride away from the apartments but well worth it."

Nice for families
"Resort is well located in the middle of Costa Teguise and not far from beaches. Pools are really nice, with different spaces for children and kids. We have found the resort very "multicultural", with kids from different countries, such a Spain, Italy, UK, Germany, France... It was very good for us, because our 6 year old kid could find other kids speaking Spanish to play with. In previous experiences in Canary Island, most of guests were British, and it was imposible for kid to make friends.
There were plenty of good restaurants in the area, not expensive. In the other hands, supermarkets were really expensive for our Spanish standard. I think this is the price of insularity."

A week was too short
"My wife and i have just come back from a week at the Oasis Lanz. It was very clean and very quiet - in fact the loudest noise was made by the birds nesting in the palm trees. The staff were helpful, but unobtrusive and the other holiday makers (some of whom have timeshares) friendly. We spent our days lazing by the heated pool. There was a well stocked pool bar, but seeing as our room was only 10 paces from our sunbathing spot we got our drinks from there - note only plastic glasses are allowed by the pool. Whilst not advertised by the travel agent we were aware of that there was a fitness centre within the complex however this just turned out to be a sauna and massage table.
The resort itself was also quiet and both the beach (which we avoided as it was very windy) and shops were all a 5 minute level walk. The local Spar sells just about everything you'll need - restaurents are similar but have a good variety.
We went with Thompson, and save for trying to flog us the usual trips at the welcome meeting were invisable. Not that we minded as there were no problems. All in all a great relaxing week"

Very nice hotel, great for relaxing holiday in the sun!
"I stayed at the Oasis Lanz resort for 2 weeks in October 2003 with my girlfriend, this was a great time to get away from the colder UK climate as it's hot all year round in the Canary Islands.
Accommodation was ideal and the swimming pools were fantastic, I'd definitely recommend the Oasis Lanz to anyone looking for a Spanish style holiday.
I'd researched Costa Teguise before going on websites such as this one and lanzaroteguidebook.com/costa-teguise and I liked the idea of a quieter holiday for a relaxing break in the sun. There is also good nightlife and restaurants just a short walk from the hotel complex but without being quite as lively and loud as other areas like Puerto del Carmen or Playa d'las Americas in Tenerife."

"Just spent a week there in a 2 bedroom "suite" and have to say that the apartment was absolutely superb. Each bedroom also had its won bathroom, the kitchen was fully equiped with quality equipment, and there was also a huge pool facing balcony to boot.
2 pools, one heated and was warm enough for a nice swim. Sun loungers easy to get, although still annoying to see people "saving" them with their beach towels when it was marked clearly as not allowed. Would have been nice to have seen the lifeguard remove them.
Location is great, 2 mins from shops, bars and restuarants, 10 mins from a couple of good beaches. Worth hiring a car for a few days to see the sights, but wouldn't recommend the hotel arranged car, its very poor compared to others around.
Finally, Costa Teguise is 15 minutes from the airport, don't pay the holiday company £15 return pp to take and drop you, put it towards the car hire and collect at the airport.
All in all, excellent and highly recommended."

"We went for a week in mid-March, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is in a great position, close to beach and restaurants but no noise from pubs/ nightclubs. Beach was good, lots of watersports no sailing though which we were disappointed about. Loads of restaurants, inc. tapas, italien etc. Hotel is very tastefully done, two pool areas, games such as table tennis, table football etc, rooms all good size and quality. Internet access is available too. Weather was brilliant all week, all in all great for sun, sand and sea."

Great Location, spacious apartment
"Spacious 2 bedroom apartment each with own bathroom. Double frontage balcony with furniture including loungers! Our apartment overlooked the heated pool and was south facing-excellent for getting out of the wind whilst still sunbathing. Superb location with everything within 2-3 minute walking distance but not noisy. Staff were very helpful and obliging. Costa Teguise is not a Blackpool with sun and caters well for families with no smoking sections in all restaurants and high chairs galore. We were never out late (young kids) so not sure about the late night entertainment however several bars were advertising that they opened until 3am. Rancho Texas Western Night is a must - approx 20mins from resort. Kids get pony rides, bouncy castle, stage coach ride and dancing and singing whilst adults get free flowing beer/sangria and a toe tapping, side slapping show. Tip - shop around booking agents for best price. Excellent family holiday - would go back tomorrow!"

The pool was cool and certainly not heated but climatised for a swim the weather in feb when we went was cloudy in the morning but after 12pm sun came through and temp was circa 22degrees but felt hotter! excellent resort and apartments would defn visit again only 15 mins from airport too!!"

"Fab place, short distance from airpost, although i would just get a cab next time instead of arranging transfers as waited around for ages at airport for "resort hopper" could of got there quicker by cab. Apartments airy and spacious. Reasonable clean and modern, all overlooking one of the two pools. Staff very friendly and helpful. Oasis Lanz really well placed for shops and restaurants etc and the food was fab, didnt have one bad meal. all in all great hols"

Holiday club scam
"I cannot honestly say anything about this Hotel as we didn't stay here. The hotel itself looked very clean and inviting except for the pushy sales people working from their foyer. We spent 5 hours with these people they showed us around the hotel and showed us some fantastic holidays. They then offered us a deal that sounded too good to be true this is when we should of realized this was a scam but we continued as we are holiday lovers we signed up for a week back at the Oasis Lanz and 5 weeks anywhere in the world and they also gave us a free cruise and stay for £4200. After talking to other holiday makers and being put off this deal while still in Costa Teguise I emailed them telling them we wanted to cancel we were invited back to discuss the matter. When we returned to the hotel we was told there was no cooling off period and we couldn't claim our money back the manager Paul then got quite angry with us but offered us an exit deal of 1 week back at Oasis Lanz and 2 weeks any were in the world for half the price. We are now trying to claim our money back through our credit card. PLEASE KEEP WELL CLEAR!"

timeshare salesmen working from hotel, SCAM,BEAWARE!!!!!!!
"Its a shame what is happening at the Oasis Lanz Club because it is a lovely hotel. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly, having said that, what spoils this place. Is that there is an if you call office based inside the hotel with salesmen selling travel holiday memberships. Which is basically another word for timeshare, the touts on the street will ask if you want to have a look at their refurbished rooms and you will win a prize on a free scratch card if you come in. You will get in and can't get out because then all the flannel starts, we signed up for a 3 year membership cost 3800 with 7 free weeks accommodation to take anywhere in the world in 4/5 star hotel/resorts,
Lovely I thought we were getting a good deal but felt very pressurized into signing,we were told that if we left the building together to go and get my credit card then the deal was off,my husband was taken in a car to our hotel to fetch my purse, alarm bells started ringing but we signed on the facts that were told to us of other benefits and we had to fly back out within one year to activate our membership, first week back this January we discover that unless you upgrade to full membership cost 6000 pounds you didn't get any benefits at all that were told to us before signing, even though this was not in the contract but said verbally,we found out when we got home many bad things and that in the first instance its against the law to not give a cooling off period, which we thought was in the deal 14 days after you sign and you can cancel,,we are now claiming through our bank, paid by credit card under the consumer protection act 1974,to get a full refund, what they have done is fraudulently misrepresentation a product for sale by with holding information for us to buy this scam, please be aware if going anywhere near this hotel."
