Great value for money, good location, nice & relaxing
"We had a lovely relaxing stay at Nazaret, and I would say that these apartments have a better feel than the Mansion Nazaret. Yes the apartments are a bit dated, some minor things didn't work (lamp/radio) and the TV doesn't have English channels - but who cares when you're on holiday? The cleaning/towel/bedding change was a bit random as others have stated; we found it funny when our beds weren't made one day but the staff were out sweeping the lava around the trees!
The staff and all the guests were lovely and really friendly - we met many people from many countries which was brilliant.
The pool nearest to us was great and cleaned daily - my daughter was never out of it. The sun loungers were a bit dated, but you put your towel on and it's fine. No one rushed down to 'secure' their favourite, everything was easy osey, generous and amiable. The pool area has a nice private feel because of the walls and terraces, which are enhanced with beautiful greenery and flowers.
We were disturbed Friday night and hardly slept because of the noise from a local bar - we wouldn't have booked an early morning trip on the Saturday had we known we would hardly sleep. I wish reception had let us know Friday could be a noisy night at the start of our stay so we could plan accordingly. When I suggested they should have done this, they were not very pleased. It didn't spoil my overall love of the place though.
We loved the area, and weren't too snobby to enjoy some good English grub as well as trying German and eating Tapas. The atmosphere in Costa Teguise was perfect for us; not too busy but with a nice buzz and everything close to hand so you could enjoy lovely walks in the evening.
We will definitely go back."

Excellent Value winter break
"Had an unexpected opportunity to take a week long winter break and stayed at the Nazaret apartments. My expectations were low based on some of the reviews but I was very satisfied with our stay. Firstly the location is excellent, within minutes of all the main bars and restaurants all of which offered excellent choice. Bus stop 2 mins away and about 8 mins. walk to the beach. Not a problem for me as i am more a pool person. There was a choice of 4 pools in the property 2 heated, the kids pool was not heated which was unfortunate so had to spend a lot of time in the pool with my child for safety reasons. The apartments are very basic but had all the essentials required for a sun holiday. The tv had no english channels at all which would have been useful when indoors in the evening babysitting! The approach to servicing rooms was unusual, somedays towels were delivered, other days some cleaning was done and then linen changed twice. However, extra towels were always available at reception on request and no problems taking them to the pool. I had a buggy and there was a narrow stairwell to our apartment which was a little awkward but manageable. The fresh rolls delivered daily is a very nice touch. Check with reception what time the gate to complex is locked at night, we went out one night and were unable to get in and had to walk around looking for an open door/gate. Overall though, this apartment offers great value and i would go back. On occasion, some music can be heard from one of the street bars but this did not cause me aproblem. I spoke to some other guests who were complaining about the older apartments, so best to check that you are in the newer ones if choosing this location."

Top class value
"Just returned after 12 days and our 5th visit to the place. Excellent value and so handy for the main beach and commercial centres. Lovely setting. Apartments a bit basic but are clean and all staff are very friendly. Recommended."

Stayed 2 weeks in march 2007 in this complex and were very pleased with it. Very helpfull woman at the receptiondesk. Big and very clean appartment with a good equipped kitchen. A lot of space for sunbathing in the complex. A bottle of wine when you arrive and every morning fresh bread at the door. A good supermarket just under the complex, so very convenient and the busstop at 50 meters. Recommended. Should stay there again."

"We booked through Travel Republic for a week in January. On arrival we found a bottle of Rioja. Not the nicest, but a nice touch nonetheless. There were also fresh rolls every morning. The apartment was cleaned 5 out of 7 days, and we had our bedding changed midweek (Unusual), and towels changed three times in seven days - not bad.
The apartment had a very spacious living area, and had a ceramic hob, oven, grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee filter machine, iron & board, plus decent knives and cutlery (including a corkscrew which we always forget). Hot water seemed to go further than most places too, and fantastic water pressure in the shower.
There are plenty of pools, and sun terraces, and the staff are very friendly. The whole complex has a relaxed feel about it. There is also an on-site laundry and a supermarket next door.
The reception does not change money, but this is hardly a problem as there is a bureaux de change and two banks straight across the road. The pool bar, is on the Mansions side, so we didn't visit, but being so close to everywhere else, we didn't need to.
Nazaret is handy for most of the bars and restaurants in the area, but without being too close.
Costa Teguise itself has gone downhill a little since we started going many years ago, but we are still regular visitors, and money is being spent on it (not before time). It's not as "Blackpool" as Puerto Del Carmen, and not as quiet as Playa Blanca, and to be fair to other trip advisor users, there are a lot of "British" bars, and a few "Irish" bars that are as Irish as I am, but there are also a few Spanish bars to make up for it, and thankfully there are still a few really good restaurants that don't offer "Full Breakfast and Sunday Roast".
All in all we had a fantastic week at the Nazaret, so much so, we are hoping to return for three weeks later in the year."

Money well spent.
"Myself with my husband and 19 year old daughter stayed in January, It was a really lovely find. We were left a bottle of red wine on arrival and fresh rolls left on our door every morning. The apartment was cleaned 5 out of the seven days we stayed with fresh towels on four occasions. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its in a very handy location with all your needs close but not too close. We will definately be returning. For a relaxing holiday at such a good price I could find nothing to moan about."

"Dont get misled, Nazaret Apartments and Mansion Nazaret although joined, offer different standards. We stayed at Nazaret Apartments which can best be described as basic 2 star. Every where needed a real good clean but was just about passable for 2 star. Pool furniture also needed a good clean. Mansion Nazaret has a nicer feel about it, but as there is no evening bar or restaurant the whole place lacks a central focus. Cats seem to roam the place and the occassional smell of cat pee is a bit off putting. Staff friendly and accommodating. If you are in Nazaret Apartments get a room numbered in the 200's -best views and quiet. Costa Teguise is full of Brits and Irish all wearing football shirts and throwing dog ends all over the flower beds. Far too many tacky English/Scots/Irish sports bars. Whole place needs a good clean up and a quality lift."
