Best ever family hotel
"Just returned from a superb self catering holidayat this hotel. we were there for two weeks with our two boys aged 4 an 8. Both of them went to the onsite kids club which was run by the animation team who were excellent. The accommodation was of good standard but could do with air conditioning, as during the night it can get really hot. Whilst we were there it reached nearly 37 degrees in the day and at least 26 at night. Many of the staff speak spanish, italian and german, there english is good too. Most of the other holiday makers were from germany and italy, which sometimes made it difficult for the childeren to make friend as they did not understand each other. However during our second week more english speaking holiday makers arrived and the children were able to make some good friends. The onsite pool bar is cheap and the buffet in the restaruent is also of good quality. The animation team are very talented and provide excellent entertainment in the evening. Every evening there is someting for all the family to enjoy.During our two weeks we made sure that we were back in time to see the shows. The Hotel is close to the beach, the beach accross the road is rocky however if you walk another 10 minutes you come to a lovely white sandy beach. The restaurants around the commercial centre are reasonablly priced. We hired a car for three days from accross the road from the hotel which was more than enough to see the island and visit the volcanoes. All in all our holiday was wonderful and the hotel and the animation staff just made it even better."

Great, absolutely great !
"My wife and baby daughter (10 months) and I, sister-in-law and niece (2 yrs) have just stayed in the Lanzarote Gardens for a week. I can honestly say for three star accomodation it was the best value for money I have ever came across. Upon checking-in the staff are warm, friendly and helpful and our room was clean, tidy and spacious. The cot which was provided for our baby was large and clean, and when asked for another travel cot for my niece another was provided early the next morning. The rooms don't have air-conditioning, however the ever present off-shore breeze meant that the rooms were kept comfortable. We stayed on a half-board basis and the food was good with a wide and varied selection. The hotel guests are a mixture of nationalities with the predominant one being spanish, therefore the food reflects this which allowed us to enjoy some things we had not tried before (it was also nice NOT to see football tops worn everywhere as you see at many other holiday destinations). The childrens clubs and services can be summed up in one word - SUPERB ! The staff around the pools (which is large but not heated, however you got warmed up once you were in) were always coming round asking if you wanted to participate in various activities, aimed at both adults and children, so the children were never stuck for somthing to do. The night time shows were good and varied and involved everyone.
All in all a great family holiday destination, in a great location (quiet, 200m from the beach, lots of supermarkets, restraunts etc near by), with staff who are helpful and have your enjoyment of your holiday as their main priority. I would be more than willing to return to this hotel and have actually become a member of the H10 group, as if the other hotels in this chain are as good as this I will become a regular visitor.
Other points of info - 16 Euros in a taxi from the airport, maid service is early (around 10am) which makes a change !"

Fabulous in every way
"A friend and I stayed with our two kids (both 2 years old) on a Mother's getaway without our husbands. The Baby Club was excellent (Julia took great care of the children and they actually looked forward to going to it instead of crying to stay with Mum! It is half outside/half inside so they were able to use a small play area when it was not too hot. We were originally worried that there was no air conditioning but found the weather - even in July- to be perfectly pleasant. There was a perpetual breeze that cooled off the room as soon as you opened the door. The staff, especially David at the front desk and of course Julia, were tops. We would love to stay again. Food was good although drinks are not included with supper. You are across the street from a shopping area and the beach (sandy but as you got above the knee it became rocky so I would recommend water shoes). If you forget anything there are 2 grocers within 2 blocks that stay open until 22:00."

Accommodation excellent. 5 minute walk...
"Accommodation excellent. 5 minute walk to centre of Teguise. Unfortunately there were no other teenagers at the complex when we were there which was unfortunate as my 14 year old son did not meet anyone. The complex was immaculate and the entertainment team seemed to entertain all the children and adults alike. We tended to go out of the complex as my son did not have anyone his age. We did not go to the entertainment in the hotel either, but on speaking to someone they said it was of a high quality. The apartments were very nice. We had a ground floor corner apartment with a huge balcony. There are a lot of Germans go to this complex but I did see more British people our second week.
I would return to Teguise, possibly not these apartments only because it appeared to be younger children who were at this complex. Having said that we were maybe just unlucky the two weeks that we chose."

We, that is 2 adults and 2 children aged...
"We, that is 2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 7 went for 1 weeks holiday in July 2004 with Eclipse Holidays.
The accommodation was ok, perhaps needed updating a bit, but we had cooking facilities, sink, and fridge, even though we were half board. We only used the fridge for beer, etc. and snacks for the kids. The buffet food at breakfast and dinner was ok, but it catered more for a European pallet than British. There were not alot of British people staying at the Hotel. They were mainly German, Spanish, and French etc.
The Animation team (the kids club) was run by the Hotel, and they were excellent. Even though my kids didnât join in during the daytime activities, they loved watching the nightly entertainment that was put on by the team.
The bus stops right outside the hotel to take you into Playa Del Carmen, and to the Aqua Park. Do not walk there. We did. We nearly died doing it in the hot mid day sun!!!! It only cost 4 Euros for a taxi back. Oh dear.
We are thinking of going back to this Hotel again in a month or so. If you donât like the food, but I am sure you will like some of it, then there is a McDonalds in Costa Teguise to treat the kids, and there are numerous restaurants in the resort that looked very appealing. Not alot going on in the resort, but it usually is a bit breezy which is lovely, and there are African hair braiders and trampolines with harnesses on the sea front which are great.
Will be going again this year hopefully."
