Excellent wee apartments
"We were re located to these apartments because our hotel had overbooked us. These apartments were a bit dated but absolutely immaculate. Cleanest pool we have ever seen. No fighting over sun loungers. Louis was the nicest, nicest man you will ever meet. Would go back to these again. There main hotel should invest a little money to promote these apartments."

"When arriving at Mozartâs apartment we were allocated to the wrong apartment at 11am on 3rd June 2007. Louis was very helpful we were re - allocated to apartment 16 with sea views front and back, it was heaven. Also my girlfriend Sarah had her suitcase taken at the airport on arrival at las Palmas airport the Spanish staff there could not understand or help in any way. We approached Louis and told him what had happened he informed the airport and by the Monday her case arrived to the door by Louis. He was extremely friendly and understanding. Throughout our stay it was heaven everything we needed was close club, pubs, restaurantâs etc.... not forgetting supermarkets and shops a whole variety what more could you ask 4! It were great value for our money coz you didn't have to fight over the pool or lounger's it was great, would recommend to everyone. Great value for money and will return."

"I couldn't have asked for anything other than this holiday for my 23rd birthday. I and my boyfriend arrived at Las Palmas airport Gran Canaria on Sunday 3rd June 2007 at 3.05 am. It was a beautiful place it was heaven, we didn't have to fight over sun loungers nor the swimming pool the apartment we had was 2 floor room 16 balcony front and back with sea views either side, it was a dream come true . The temperature was hot 28 oc it was boiling hot couldn't complain, it was better than being stuck at rainy Wales lol. The nearest place to shop was out of the apartment turn right down the hill and there were a Netto sign, which is a mini market, but if you wanted more variety and choice go back to the apartments and turn left 5 min walk up the road, and you will see a complex of restaurants shops bars etc. In front of the Mozart apartments there is a chemist and a doctor's there open from:- Doctorâs 9am till 5 pm Chemist 9am till 3pm 4pm till 9pm From Mozart down to puerto rico shopping centre it will cost 4 euro's in a taxi. Watch out for (pick pocket's) also watch out for the promotions, you get offered with tickets you open to earn holiday sales rep's their bonusâs, they are a con and you have a hour tour in a jazzed up apartments which are a part of a time share they want you to buy! The beaches are beautiful at Gran Canaria watch out for the lizards on your travelâs down ha ha. The owner of the apartments and cleaners are lovely and if you have a night flight he will tell you there is a 27 euro charge to keep the room on, but they own Colina mar up the road and there is a place up there to keep your luggage until you leave. Also we found out that all entertainment and bar/restaurantâs up there too."

"Me n my bird (girlfriend!) went there early July for a week have the following to say; Apartments are Excellent Value for Money! All rooms have TWO Balconies Front and Back!!! Which we thought was excellent especially for relaxing in the sun and watching sun set n a good old game of cards. LOUIS is a very helpful, polite good man who even gave us a lift with our baggage a few hundred yards on the day of leaving. Swimming pool is great with nice Tropical Lager on cold tap in the small bar. Tip-go swimming at night- its good cool-down temperature and a good laugh...well you can get a few good photos anyway! Europa centre is approx 300 metres away (across the road and a very short walk). We thought and read the Europa centre was "The LIVELY NIGHTLIFE and the clubbing central of the Canaries"... as we was a couple we got a bit worried! however it turned out to be about 3/4 small bars playing music till 3 but mostly loads of restaurants, Arcades, souvenir shops and x2 Netto's!! ..So all in all it was a good place for couples... ~Also in the Europa Centre (well on the outskirts!!!) was a bar/restaurant/show place called BARBACOA which is a MUST - The Food is TOP CLASS especially the Steak with Mushroom sauce! And the comedian is very good aswell as the dancing etc. Shoppingâs not all that great apart from Puerto Rico town which is HALF decent but still mostly filled with restaurants and souvenir shops! Tip - HAGGLE HAGGLE HAGGLE they will go down loads!! Even if you get called a tight arse or hard man... Amadores beach is walk down hill and MUST Taxi back up (2.40Euros) it is GREAT... Lovely sand, clear water, small restaurants/cafes with available parasols and sunbeds. Would recommend these apartments if your after a good couples holiday and donât want to spend a lot on holiday package (we paid 270 each). Although we ended up spending £350 each AND running out for a Day or two!! Go back to Potatoes currency or whatever it is!"

"We arrived at Mozart apartments after reading some good reviews here. Accommodation is very basic and possibly in need of a refurb but taking into account that we only paid £238 for flight and accommodation then the Mozart is value for money. Staff are very friendly, Louis in particular. Very quiet and peaceful and an ideal base if you don't like things too noisy. The Europa Centre is just across the road but apart from the Barbacoa the other eating and drinking places are pretty average. For a better option get a taxi to the Passerrela Centre just next to the beach (4 Euros) where the food is much better (but slightly more expensive). The Mozart Apartments are not geared up for kids but great for couples looking for some quiet time as long as you remember that is only 2* accommodation and you only get what you pay for."

"Myself and my partner Dave went to Mozart in sep 2005 for 2 weeks it was a relaxing place. Clean and friendly. Amadores beach not far is a gorgeous beach. Mozart is only really for couples as not good for children. Bars across from Mozart are great something for everyone, will definitely go back to see Carlos and balbina this year. Mozart basic accommodation no entertainment but bar open around pool with music from 1 until 6. Apartments, clean and spacious with balconies overlooking pool, pool was cleaned daily. Will see everyone in 2006 Jenny & Dave."

"We were in Mozart apartments from 17th September till 1st October. what a great time we had. The apartments are great with there being only 24 it was great. Shopping centre across the road with a range of shops bars and restaurants. The beach is only a taxi ride away or if you are fit 15mins walk. Everyone was so friendly we met some great people Carlos the barman and Balbina the cleaner were great, we cant wait to go back next year, we have always loved Tenerife but I think Puerto Rico was better. The apartments are basic but clean with no Colin cockroaches inside. The pool is great and no fight for sunloungers cos there are plenty anyone who goes will have a great time. "

"I wish to warn tourists in the area to avoid at all costs the camera shop called the Foto Venus in the Europa shopping centre (up the top) in Puerto Rico. I bought a digital camera (Sony) for 379.50 euros, not cheap by there standards, within a hour I realized it was not just faulty, it wouldn't work. I had been grossly overcharged, and it was not a Sony he took it out of a Sony box but did not give me the box. They were selling in other shops in the centre for 115 euros, big difference. One shopkeeper who sold the same upstairs said to ask them for a refund or a complaints form as lots of people complain about this shop. I got nothing but a load of abuse; he said that all tourists who come here are stupid and they give them anything. Not a very good image for tourists to want to go back again. I have informed Visa Card today on my return and just hope they can do something about this."
