"The hotel on a whole was really good the room we stayed in was amazin and as for the food for an all inclusive holiday it was exceptional, but there were a few downfalls, we were the only english couple there and found that everywere we walked into everyone wouldnt stop staring at us eating our food swmming in the pool or just walkin round everyone would stare, and the other bad thing was that in the middle pool there was a very disturbing sight when saw some sperm floating in the pool from that day on i never got in that pool. but apart from that the holidy was really really good."

Beautiful Hotel but everything else disappointing.
"The hotel is very modern and trendy and rooms are lovely. Everything else is boring the hotel has no atmosphere and boring you get the impression they dont want to really cater as an all inclusive hotel as you are treated second best and have so many rules and excusions and they know make you feel as they dont want to incourage you to stay in the hotel as there is no animation team so you have no day time activites barr one women who does excercise classes and at nighttime there is no entertainment on a saturday and wednesday night and when there is any entertainment it it just someone either playing the piano in the back ground or a singer so we were that bored that we ended going into town spending extra money which i think that is what the hotel want you to do so your not draining the bar and also the lounge bar is modern but the chairsa are so uncomfortable. There is no atmosphere at the hotel and it is difficult to mix and people just stare at each other. The hotel is full of international people so food wise it is more catered for the international i am not a fussy eater but i found it difficult to eat decently at meal times and breakfast (bacon and egg were awful) . Snacks dont be fooled by the description for the hotel you will not be getting hamburgers or pizzas etc snacks consist of a baguette with raw bacon or sandwiches ham and cheese available daily in the supermarker. We ended up eating out quite alot which was disappointing as we have never had to do on any other holiday and we had opted for a more superior hotel this time as we usually just stay in a basic 3 * all inclusive hotel. All in all we feel let down by this hotel and feel begrudged that we had to spend extra money to enjoy our holiday and will not be recommending it to anyone and will be pursueing it now we are back home as we feel we have been missold a hotel due to the fact it advertised daytime/evening entertainment and snacks etc. I would only say you would enjoy the hotel is you like a nice place to sleep and you were just using as a base and had no intention of staying day and night in there. The only plus side was free bus to beach and cocktails were included in the evenings. Playa del Ingles and Gran Can in general was abit tatty and dont think we will be going back."

"we stayed for a week and were very impressed by the quality of the hotel throughout. lovely rooms, restaurant and bar area. very clean clean all through the hotel including the 3 pools which were always immaculate with plenty of sun loungers to go round. cocktails were part of the all inclusive. entertainment was poor. lots of gays and germans in the hotel, the yumbo centre being a short walk away. not much to do in playa del ingles and is pretty grotty unless you want to drink in clubs all night and sleep all day. but the hotel is located very close to maspolomas which is more upmarket with nice bars and restaurants, just a couple of euros on bus/taxi. also would highly recommend puerto rico which is about 20 mins away on bus, has the lovely amadores beach which is far superior to del ingles beach, and is where the spanish go. also staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful and speak very good english, particularly at reception and the bar. also the food was good with good choice and nice wine with dinner as part of all inc. would definately recommend this hotel....."

WHAT A DIFFERANCE AFTER A MAKEOVER.
"We stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago when it was the Sunwing and didnt enjoy it then but now what a transformation. We stayed 11 days on the all inclusive deal,as the previous reviewers stated you cannot fault the staff, hotel, food, drinks ect.We always went to the beach everyday on the free bus which ran from 0915 from the hotel till 1730 from the beach, but a taxi from the beach to the hotel was only 3 euros. The only criticism is that due to us having a late flight and the hotel being full we couldnt reserve our room,it was explained we could go to the beach our cases would be locked away and then on our return have a shower before leaving,it worked perfect until we found the showers were in the toilets at the poolside, most hotels have a courtesy room with a little privacy.Just one moan on a otherwise perfect stay."

nice and relaxing
"A nice and relaxing hotel. The spa was great. Poolarea was superb. Breakfast was very good. The staff in the reception gave us mixed information regarding all-inclusive and some of the restaurant staff was just ignorant. Apart from that a great stay and will be going back."

Amazing Hotel.... Loved it.....
"Hotel is very nice, 4 pools, nice landscaped gardens, brill spacious rooms. Gym, sauna, spa....have just returned from a 10 night stay and my only compaint would be the evening entertainment can be prehaps a bit boring for the younger guest. Hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to and from the beach, the YUMBO and KASBASH Centre are only a 3 euro taxi away so hotel is situated in a nice quietish area but not too far away from the facilities. Breakfast brill so much choice..... we did not choose the all inclusive option as we like to go and explore and try restuarants in the area... OVERALL we had a fab time and was sad to have to come home"

Would go back Tomorrow!
"Sunprime is a fab hotel. It is better than it looks in the pictures! All staff are friendly and helpful. The All Inclusive board is excellent. great choice of food and drink. I would go back tomorrow and probably pay more than i payed to go!
It is only a 3 euro taxi journey to The Kasbah or the Yumbo Centre (both have bars and restaurants) The hotel provide a free daily bus to the beach.
The Aqua fit is a must! she is a fab instructor and it helps u feel less like u have scoffed far too much buffet food!
Sunprime should be a 5 star, its fab!!!"

Immaculately clean, super staff and NO KIDS
"I travelled with a female relative, and we both loved this hotel. Overall the hotel was immaculately clean, the staff were super, and you could choose your lounger by the 4 pools at any time of day.
Our room was OK, beds super comfy, with a nice balcony and a good view.
The restaurant staff were very friendly, and more than happy to serve LARGE glasses of wine with your dinner - the food all looked good, loads of lovely salads and fresh fruit always available - the breakfast was especially good.
The bar (only one available) was staffed by the restaurant staff, and always very friendly. The cocktails were available on the All Inclusive - definitely try the Mojitos.!!
The best thing about this hotel was that there were NO CHILDREN. Fabulous -if you were travelling with children they wouldn't have ANYTHING to do here.
We didn't go to the beach - we enjoyed the peace and quiet round the pool, but there is a free shuttle bus that runs a couple of times a day.
The gym looked well equipped, and there was a daily exercise class - I would recommend the water gym with Anna.
All in all, we had a super time, and would definitely return"

It was absolutly fantastic, I would recommend this hotel to any one, and will certainly be returning in the future
"This is the best hotel I have stayed at, the rooms were very spacious, and kept lovely and clean, I found the staff very helpful, the food was lovely always plenty to choose from. The pool area is fantastic with plenty of sun beds for everyone. The only thing lacking is the entertainment at night, but I still had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday here and will certainly be returning."
