Dont listen to these morons.
"People say you get what you pay for, well we payed peanuts for this holiday through onthebeach and it was great. The rooms are large, clean and basic, what more do you want for the price.Yes it needs a tidy up and its getting one this year. The pools are great and plenty of sunlounges, nice pool bar and good sized resteraunt. The food is plentyfull and good for the price you pay as i said before, this is not a 5* hotel so stop whittering about the food.We went allinclusive so just get what you want when you want, great for kids drinks, ice creams etc.All the staff we met where more than freindly and helpfull, i think guests that are going to be trouble might be treated differently.Luis was the star of the hotel, the kids loved his kids club, mini disco, and water activities, the man is a hero in my opinion. The hotel is in a great position, next to the water park and in the thick of the shops and bars but its not a noisey rowdy place, and a 8-10 minute walk to the beach.A20 minute walk to the horbour and 25 minute boat ride to lanzarote for a trip out.As i said before a family of four ,all inclusive for 7 nights for a grand including flights i think it was a great holiday and dont listen to those stuck up morons."

AVOID THIS DUMP LIKE THE PLAGUE
"I will NEVER run down hospital or British Rail food again after eatting here, the food was very limited, dry, cold, disgusting and more or less the same each day, i had to eat out in the town most of the time, dinning room was TOTALY disgusting and dirty, staff needs to go to happy school and learn to smile and communicate.Entertainment - well if you call a 20 min bird show entertainment, bar closes at 11pm. Most of the place is in need of repair and paint. If you want TV you have to pay 4 euros a day, internet wifi only worked within a few meters from the reception desk and had to reset every few mins.Reception floor had holes in it about 3cm deep, one day there was 2 x cockroachs in reception.
The positive reviews i have seen on here for May/June 2012 must be posted on here from the staff as it was NOTHING like it.
Pay just a little extra and stay else where and NOT in this DUMP."

i think british people get a raw deal here.
"reception i found very unhelpful for me as a brit.i asked for an upstairs room as coop travel agent asked if i wanted up or down.i said up i got down.reception said nothing left.thompsons rep magiced up three upstairs to look at.i had a 2" rock hard pillow i was supposed to sleep on.asked reception, got lumpy pillows they said all guests had them.thompsons rep got me lovely soft pillows in twenty mins.ace rep.cleaners, gardeners, pool attentdants, etc.most, very friendly,& efficient.this place needs a big overhaul.beds go boing when you move,as they are old spring type.apartment door has a gap all round it. it keeps very little noise out, from noisy guests, all inclusive here means as much booze& food u can consume.pool, freezing sea water, kids get fresh in theirs.tiles coming off bottom of pool.location ok.nearer the harbour would be better as you wouldnt have to pass all the food touts, not nice.its getting like tenerife here i think.try el cottilo west coast,so peaceful, if like me you want true fuetventura. the harbour in corra is great.the national park sand dunes unbeleivable.wind, kite surfing, just basking, all great.lots of nice hotels to stay in here."

Eating out prefered
"To start on a good note the main pool is great, good for kids and the staff always responsive. The whole place needs a makeover though and when it came to the food it was very limited, somewhat bland and predictable, of the eleven days we spent there we ate out seven of those. All in all corralejo is a fun place. not all bad
"On arriving the receptionst was helpful, first night found a cocharoach in our room, sheets had holes in matresses were dirty, we slept on the sofa matress, and single bed matress in front room, ants in fridge, and floor, got bitten by what ever was in the matress, had to run shower for a while to get horrible rusty water away,if you had a wash and pulled the plug up a nasty smell came through, complained about the ants and mr.cocharoach only to be given a massive can of insect reppelant and told to keep spraying!!!!!!went self catering and the kettle on the ring took 45mins to boil!!!!the poolside was good and sunbeds not bad, very quiet was nice, the place needs refurbishing and cpould be a great place to stay in,minus bedbugs and smelly bathroom, island and local people excellant."

depends on your luck
"Arriving at the hotel it was great to see it was in a central location. I paid all inclusive for me, my sister and my brother and We had a fantastic time. the room was spacious and clean and the maid came whenever requested. The food was the same on most days with the usual serving of pizza and chips for lunch and roast beef for dinner but wasnt expecting much reading reviews before travel. The pool was missing tiles but due to the salt water we didnt spend much time in it anyway. The guy in charge of entertainment was amazing and always made sure we were never bored with games of golf, pool tournaments, darts and room. The staff were very helpful and always provided us with whatever we needed. We were very happy with the hotel and staff.
Having said that however a couple me met while there werent too happy after an intense rain storm their roof eventually collapsed and even after moving to another room still experienced the same problem the hotel did pay for them to stay within another hotel and they were impressed with the fast response and the help.
The hotel is due to be updated this year so visit much after and im sure you'll enjoy it to"

poor! get what you pay for though
"we as a family of three, thought the labos was poor regarding food, and entertainment. The pool was also very cold, even though my daughter enjoyed it, shes 11. we went all inclusive but mainly ate out, theres sum good english grub in the area, but look around! can be pricey. Beach was lovely, locals friendly. lovely island! rooms clean, would we go again? NO! most of sunbeds broken. get what you pay 4, including baby cockroaches on food counter. miserable staff! i wouldn,t recomend this hotel 2 any 1! nice place though, hotel let it down! lol x"

You get what you pay for!!
"We stayed at the Lobos Bahia for a Week All Inclusive, Apartment was Large, had no real problems but the Cleaners only came twice and i dont actually know what they done. Floor was not swept or mopped in a week. We were provided with a brush and a mop so done it ourselves, but wasnt really a problem as we were barely in the apartment. On our 5th day the pool was emptied without any notice and is currently being repaired. I think it will be lovely when finished. The relaxing pool at the top was still fine to use, so again wasnt a problem. Food was quite repetitive but was o.k just a normal All Inclusive. You MUST visit the Crepe man at the exit of the hotel for a nutella Crepe, they are gorgeous!! :-) Would definatley reccomend Waikiki Bar for food and nightlife. On the whole we had a nice break at Lobos Bahia Club and would reccomend. Just dont go here expecting 5* and you will enjoy. Weve stayed at better but also stayed at worse."

Avoid like the plague!!!!!!!
"Where do I start! First morning ourselves and 3 other appartments were broken into at 6.30am! Patio doors are not secure at all! Hotel were not interested at all and wouldn't even check the cameras!
We asked for clean sheets but were denied all week! The food was repetitive and used again on other nights. The staff were miserable and the assistant manager was extremely rude! There was mold on the ceiling of the room and paint coming off the walls! The dining room was disgusting especially the floor!
If you do stay at this place make sure you are not put round back on the ground floor or you may encounter some unwanted guests!"

don't take notice of bad reviews on this page!!!
"We were expecting a nightmare holiday, instead we had a fantastic one. The Los bahia is nothing like you read in the bad reviews. It is in the best location possible, it is right next to the newly built shopping mall, with a eurospar supermarket with an excellent wide choice of fresh produce, it has a fresh meat, and cheese and fish counter, and just like you get in england except better!!!. There are many boutiques eg, Zara, Stradervarious and espirit all in the mall. It is literally a few paces from the hotel, so no having to walk miles for food. Plenty of good restuarants and shops along this the main strip. The rooms are spacious and clean, they are a few years old but certainly no way could you complain. There was absolutely no bed bugs!! the linen was very clean and changed regularly by very nice maids, that do no behave like thieves. What is the matter with these sad people that want the bloody Ritz for a few hundred pounds, I cannot believe some of these reviews. My only complaint would be, there wasnt a wooden spoon to cook with (I bought 3 for 90 cents), The pool has a few tiles missing, but it is so massive, just dont swim near that area. All in all this was a brilliant holiday, lovely weather for january 28 degrees. My advise is if you want a better holiday try the maldives and rent one of those bungelows on the beach, maybe Thomas Cook have one of those for £500 for 2 weeks...I think not."

"well wear do i start the pool is in bad condition it needs retileing. now and then there is a horrible smell near the coke mechines next to the bar like stail cheese but the staff are nice and friendly we had a rep called sam from thomas cook he were awsome told us everything sorted out our problems if u r with thomas cook and need to find him in reception were the computers to the left theres like a little office type thing he may be in there if not there should be a notice on there were you can find him but to be fair it wasent worth the £1200 quid we paid unfortunatly i think this hotel has potentional it needs to be closed down for a couple of mounths and needs refurbing and also the rooms are kept very clean but the maid comes nearly every two days"
