I would stay there again if in Corralejo
"My boyfriend and I (in our late 20's, early 30's) chose the Fuentepark for our first holiday in Corralejo, following the reviews on this site. I had a great time there and would definately go there again if staying in Corralejo. We should have checked in at 4pm, but due to an 8 hour delayed flight didn't arrive until 2am! We thought we were to endure another nightmare as when we arrived at the hotel as the reception was locked and in complete darkness, but thankfully not...it was all organised, they left contact details for the nightwatchman who was on the premises and we just had to make a call to him and he sorted us out within minutes (and was really smiley and friendly)... For those going in the future some info; * There is a hairdryer provided in the bathroom which is good. * Air conditioning is available in the rooms (we got ours free as we arrived late, but I think you have to pay for the remote control at reception normally) * Safety deposit boxes require a deposit and are charged at a daily rate * You can hire bathsheet sized towels from reception for a deposit * The oven (and also the hob I think) require additional payment on arrival - we didn't use them as was too hot to cook * You could hire a playstation from reception as well if you wanted!! * Geppetto's Italian restaurant near Waikiki is worth trying * Waikiki's restaurant is nice in the evening for a drink and also for lunch as it's on the beach (wish we'd found out it was open for lunch earlier in our holiday - great paella) * Take the bus (no 6) to the big beach - it's well worth it - it's one of the best beaches I've been on...particularly if you go to the left, it's quieter and you see more of the water sports"

"My husband and I stayed in these apartments in March. The taxi from the airport was easy to get, it took 45 minutes and cost â¬40.00. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, fresh and very bright. The kitchen was well equipped and we often made dinners there. We had a gorgeous king size bed, and the balcony overlooked the pool which was lovely and clean, plenty of sun beds. Rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels also, we even left cash around the apartment, but it was never taken. 5 minute walk to the beach, 3 minute walk to the centre. Lovely Japanese restaurant in the mall. Great bar called Rock Island Bar, relaxing acoustic sessions. We were so sad to leave. The down side...happy hour only lasted for an hour!! Yummy cocktails by the pool. Absolutely recommend this, no complaints whatsoever. Happy travels!!"

peace and quiet so close to the centre
"This was our nineth visit to the island, staying at different accommodation every time, we would recommend this hotel for its fantastic location, just off the main street but far enough away from the noise. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were very clean, fresh towels daily and maid service. Lovely clean pool tho at this time of year not for the faint hearted. Would recommend for couples seeking peace and quiet."

Fuerte Park Hotel Correlejo
"Just returned from this lovely hotel. We stayed in an apartment but did not go half board as many of the hotel had. We went self catering as prefer to eat out in the lovely restaurants in Correlejo. The apartments were quite roomy and well equipped with an oven (although we didnt use it), a hob, a fridge freezer (very handy) and a large colour tv. The pool area is lovely and peaceful and the pool was heated the 1st week we were there but not the 2nd (the temperature in Correlejo was 24 degrees though). The hotel is very convenient for all the bars, shops restaurants etc without any of the noise. Would definately recommend it, although maybe not for children as there is no entertainment during the day or the evening. This we don't mind as we always go out on an evening."

Clean, central, excellent value...
"We booked the Fuentepark ApartHotel through SunMaster as a cheap last minute getaway. We hired a car at the airport (Europcar- lovely clean car) and it was a comfy half hour drive to the resort. There was plenty of parking (at this time of year) on the road. The reception was lovely and all of the staff spoke English. The complex is small which we prefer. It is a set of appartments all located around a single pool with shrubbery. Our appartment had a small kitchen (with a large fridge/freezer... essential for the champagne/wine/ and beers!), lounge with terrace, large bedroom, and a bathroom. The maids cleaned the room every day and provided towels daily. We never used the restaurant preferring to explore. The location was fabulous. It was a 2 minute walk to the shops, bars, restaurants, and beach. In all I would say if you are really looking for a room only resort this could not be beaten. Correlejo is full of night life. We loved the variety of restaurants as that is what makes a good holiday for us. As a young couple I was glad we had the car as we would have been bored during the days. Although naked sunbathing was always an option!!!! The dunes were breathtaking and an ideal place to spend the afternoon with a bottle of wine hidden away. I would highly recommend Correlejo and the Fuentepark Aparthotel."

"The apartment we had at this hotel was very very good. They were cleaned out every day, with new sheets and towels. The pool area was very clean and the pool was cleaned twice a day. There's a great little pool bar as well. The shops and pubs where only 50 yards from the hotel and the beach was 200 yards away as well. We were B&B, the breakfast was OK. I will be stopping there again when I go back. Had a great Xmas there. "

"I have just returned from staying in this fantastic hotel. The staff were all very friendly, and nothing was to much trouble. My room was very clean and tidy and overlooked the fantastic pool area, as did nearly all of the rooms. You were able to walk into the pool at one end and it gradually got deeper and deeper until you could start swimming to the other end. The restaurant overlooked the pool area as well. The restaurant had a very good selection of food for you to choose from, whether it was breakfast or evening meals. I cannot fault this hotel one bit. It was set just off the main strip, but was just 2 minutes walk from the beach. If ever i was going to go back to Fuerteventura i would have no hesitation in staying at this lovely hotel."

Nice relaxing holiday but dont get confused with other hotel!
"I booked this holiday after reading that the hotel had 7 swimming pools etc and read a further review just before we left of people getting mixed up with the two hotels. We were one of those! On arrival I was dissapointed that the hotel had just 1 swimming pool (which was very quiet at all times), no kids club, no bar after 6pm and no entertainment. The accommodation was adequate but on the small side, although the maid was in every day leaving clean towels, cleaning, changing and making the beds. The previous reviews are correct in that it was in a central location but also very quiet so we always had a good nights sleep. If there hadnt been another family with 2 young children there at the same time as us our children would have been on the bored side. The food was very good, with a chef cooking food as you watched and the staff were very friendly. The italian restaurant in the Plaza on the main street was excellent, and also the chinese restaurants were very good value. The 7 pints pub in the plaza was good for the football and the mini golf above this was good for a laugh. The water park is 10 mins walk away and is a really enjoyable day. Dont bother with the Lanzarote trip, it is a dump and the crossing is very rough. Try to go to the Atlantis Palace for the nightime entertainment, it is excellent and the hotel is worlds apart from Fuentepark. All in all we enjoyed our stay, but it was definately no more than a 3 star."

good hotel but too big
"Just returned from our holiday in Fuerteventura , We stayed all inclusive on the complex which was a good idea since we had two teenagers. We would defiantly recommend all inclusive as the hotel was a good kilometre from the town. Rooms where spacious and maids came to clean and change towels everyday. Food in the Italian and Spanish restaurant had very good waiter service a good menu. In the gaudi restaurant good choice of food meat and fish cooked for you the only downfall was that if you left it late to eat the restaurant would get very congested and very difficult to find tables. Lunch time in the sandwich bar was very good. There was a varied choice of pools but on the downside a lot of building work going on at the time adjacent the hotel. The weather was hot but temperatures did drop in the evening . On the whole a good holiday although we did find the complex big."

Which hotel is this?
"Just returned from our annual trip to Fuerteventura, having booked with travel republic via the internet. We booked this hotel having looked at reviews and it had a freshwater pool. After being dropped off by the taxis at the wrong hotel we arrived late at night, and were pleased with initial impression. Next day we explored the hotel to find the 7 pools, pool side bar, childrens club etc as advertised. We discovered that the hotel was not the one as advertised and were very confused. Asked the very helpful staff who explained that this hotel had been part of the Atlantis group but had been bought out in April by a private concern, The hotel was called Fuentepark Apartments, even though the sign outside did say Atalntis Suite Hotel. It is situated as advertised in the centre of Correlejo. Just to let other travellers know, it was a lovely hotel and only offers half board. The food was very good and all the staff were friendly and spoke good english. The people holidaying consisted of english families, spanish and germans and everyone appeared to enjoy the hotel as much as we were. Do be warned though, there is no childrens club, no entertainment and no evening bar. You need to go into town to find evening entertainment, but there is plenty available, we went to Atlantis Palace to watch their high quality shows. This hotel was clean, a little out dated, and very quiet...some days we had the large freshwater pool to ourselves! Unknown for this time of year in Fuerte. We would definately return to the hotel again and have taken No's so we can book direct. There is loads to do and I would recommend Snorkelling, body surfing in nearby El Cottillo, the water park( go in after 3 p.m. for half price entry) and windsurfing."

Please do not mix this up with the Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort
"For anyone wanting to book a holiday at the Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuenteventura resort , please be careful that you are not mistakenly booked in to the Atlantis Suite Hotel Fuentepark (recently renamed Fuentepark Apartments) as we were. The names are very similar but the accomodations are worlds apart. The Fuentepark Apartments are basic apartments, with dangerous pull out beds (so no good for kids) with one pool and no kids facilities whatsoever, as opposed to the Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort, which apparently has 7 pools and great facilities, as reviewed incorrectly on this site under the Fuentepark reviews. We want to make people aware that this is not a rare mistake, so check your booking form and tickets. It cost us â¬1000 and 2 days of our holiday. We never made it to the Suite Hotel Atlantis Fuenteventura resort, as it was fully booked, but had a great stay at the Riu Oliva Beach!"
