We would recommend a Visit... Absolutly... !!!
"We have just returned from a 2-week stay and enjoyed it very much... This is a layed back resort if you want it to be, but if you like the night-life a trolley leaves every half hour for town and the beach... If you are expecting to be waited on hand and foot Go to a Marriot or Hilton.. This is not for you... The bungalos are quaint, with all the amenities... Shower-tub, TV-DVD plater.. bring your own DVD's stove and Oven, and very clean... beds are firm but comfortable... No air conditioning, but no need for it Cieling Fan's do the job... along with the constant dry breeze, you need blankets at night... There are two pools on site along with the Tropical bar and restaurant . Where Paul the Manger and his team Michell and Haley will take good care of you...!!! Try Paul's "Famous" Fuerteventura Iced Tea.. !!! and all your cares will go away... smooth and tasty .. well worth trying.. :-) The location is Ideal as a base to explore the Island, the office staff is very helpfull with any questions or maps you may need...!!! Try the white sand Beaches or the Black Volcanic sand beaches, not to mention crystal clear Azur colored waters of the atlantic... You can have both the night life or quiet day's at the pool... it's really up to you... !!! I Highly recomend you try it here....!!! Written by John & Evalynn From New York.... USA"

Butlins in Spain!
"We have Just returned from a weeks stay at the Fuerteventura Beach Club and had a nice relaxing time. Myself and my partner are both reletivley young (23 + 26) and found the resort to be relatively quiet but that could coincide with it being out of season. The appartments were clean and well equpiied. ( iron, microwave, cooker, toaster etc...) There are 3 bars in the resort, of which the elite bar is the best, Tommy the owner is a top man who makes a pukka breakie! Zanzi bar was quiet but relaxing, the secret garden bar was closed.. the swimming pool was non heated, I only got in it once and it was freezing! we preffered to stay by the jacussiz, although one was not working!overall i would say this is more of a place for young famillies and older people, although for a weeks sun for £200, you cant go wrong!
8/10 - for families
8/10 - for old folk
7/10 - for couples
3/10 - for singles"

Fuerteventura Beach Club, Caleta de Fuste
"Warning to anyone staying in these apartments.Only 2 of us went and the shower only held enough water in the tank for one scant shower.
We complained twice and they just were not interested.Seemed to think we were mad to expect more than one shower.
Luckily I went with my boyfriend who politely went without a shower. If I had gone with my girlfriend we would have fallen out big time!!
When you come off the beach sticky and sandy a shower before going out in the evening is not unreasonable!!"

ok but watch out for the thief who steals from locked safes
"We did a internal exchange with our timeshare. On arrival the staff were very accommodating. The bungalow that we were put in was very nice, overlooking the pool and the secret garden ( end bungalow no 65? ) Everything going great till we had money taken from a locked safe. Obviously someone has got a spare key to the safe. Management not interested in this theory. And could not grasp the fact that we were robbed from a locked safe.Said someone must of picked the lock of the safe to open it and then picked it again to lock it !!!!!!! I dont think so. Realy spoilt our holiday"

"went for 5wks and enjoyed it totally. the elite bar is the best on site but plenty of others around the area and down town. tommys breakfast in the elitemay not be the cheapest but it is the best around. the rooms were looking a little tired and in need of refurbishment but overall it was a good resort that did what it said on the packet. the malibu bar can get a little noisey so if you dont like constant music ask for a quiet room. there is a refurbishment plan on going as rooms become available though it will not spoil your holiday, youll never notice it going on. the pools were excellent and the grounds immaculate. the staff and maintenance teams were top class and very helpful. the sunday lunch time paella at the malibu bar is great ,a must at least once in your stay. the resort is about 15mins out of town up a shallow, but constant, climb but for the less energetic there is a little train that runs to town and back throughout the day. check out the bars and shops in town and try to see something of the island, especially the dunes outside correlejo."

"what a great place to stay although a bit on the quite side maybe the time of year.Have stayed at the beach club before about 5 years ago and would recommend it as the perfect base.with three pools and two poolside bars a restaurant on site supermarket and lets not forget the secret garden this is a must for all holidaymakers.Situated about ten minutes away from the main drag makes it a lovely stroll all downhill, for the less mobile there is a courtesy train that runs several times a day right outside these apartments down to the main town and beyond to the seafront.Rooms are basic but really have everything you need, honestly you cannot go wrong here, still have not seen a cockroach and only a few ants, free paella on sunday and a couple of quiz days not forgetting happy hours 3-7. what more could you want .i paid 240 pound for 1 week all in including airport parking, insurance, return flights plus accomodation,in fact the only thing i didnt pay was transfers which was only 6 pounds what a bargain. going back in march cant wait"

Wouldnt go again !!
"The resort looked great on arrival. 3 pools to use, the Elite being the best one. 3 bars in the resort - the Zanzibar has entertainment, the Elite Club has the Elite bar by the pool and the Secret Garden is a sunken underground bar with karaoke and discos most nights. This was the best, the staff and owners were friendly. Those are the good bits. When we arrived they had no record of our booking for 3 people. As we had all our paperwork they put us in an apartment which was great, 3 steps from the pools edge !!! But as the first of our 2 week holiday progressed, problems arose. No patio table or clothes dryer, broken toilet seat, split shower hose, no pots and pans, broken cutlery draw, mains plug socket stopped working after 2 days and ants everywhere - all around the loo, in the bath, kitchen - you name it !! We found out we were staying in the reps quarters !! We complained so many times, they moved us for our second week to the Elite Club part. On arrival much better, pool view again and gorgeous pool all lit up at night and from our balcony we had the view of the Zanizbar and stage so we could watch entertainment from there. But unfortunately the cockroaches in my bed freaked me badly and I ended up sleeping in the bedroom with my 2 friends on the last 2 nights. There were timeshare reps everywhere but we managed to escape their clutches and stray cats which were very friendly which I loved and had my favourite that visited me each day. The Chef lived next door to us and was lovely and treated us very well when he did a BBQ. All in all the Island is fantastic and this resort could be equally fantastic as all the staff were very helpful, the accommodation has let it down which is such a shame. I loved the way most of the bungalows over looked the pools it was beautiful. I would definitely return to Fuerteventura but probably not here."

For £98 quid for a weeks rental, can you complain?
"Went with a couple of mates for a chilled out week as needed to recharge the batteries!! Busy Summer!!
Booked the flights, mytravel.com and appartment seperately, appartmentsabroad.com, paid £98 for the appartment for a week, Bargain!! 10 mins in a taxi from airport, 9 euros!!
Would reccomend that instead of doing the package deals, check out the seperate things first....
Reception staff, bunch of ill trained, ignorant and down right unprofessional people. As we were not there on a timeshare as owners, we were treated as second class. Made to wait while they served 'owners' first.
Billy the sales rep for the timeshare is pretty cool, for a scouser! and in no way did we feel there was a hard sell, We were asked if we wanted the tour, but kindly refused, end of!
The appartment, was very, very tired, poor state of repair, broken patio door, broken bed, ants all over the bathroom and the odd cockroach or 4 descended during the week. Maybe leaving the patio doors open isnt a good idea!!
Maid service, twice a week, not enough i would suggest.
Pool is okay, even if its a tad salty, but the best thing is the MALIBU bar by the main pool.
Katherin and her mother, Manchu are brilliant... looked after us brilliantly..
Free BBQ on a Friday, Free Paella on a Sunday, and happy hour from 3-7pm everyday!!
PS, if you go tell them they need a new set of darts!!
Overall, what can i say except, for £98 take the rough with the smooth!!"

Ok, but won't go back
Appartment ok, terrace and kitchen area very small. Bath room average to good. The room could have done with some more facilities and kitchen ware.
I never once went in the main pool as it wasn't great. I used one of the two over the road (you are allowed to do this). There was a nice little cafe/bar by pool over the road, but I can't remember the main one at all!
I'm afraid I havent got a lot to praise about the complex. Our part of complex was tired and old.
The bar opposite the reception was fantastic. It was perfect for my girlfriend and I. Hardly anyone went there, the bar tender was a great cocktail maker and went to a lot of trouble for us - he even closed the bar and left us there while he went to buy peaches for a daquiri cocktail! The bar tender was the true highlight of the place!
The site is a ver very long way from the main resort so be prepared for a hike!
Note: It's 4 years since I went, so this place may now be alot better."

Run Down and very neglected
"This is a Time share resort where you are pestered by time share hard sell, you are not left alone.
The resort is very neglected so as to get you to buy on their elite club which is not a lot better.
Be careful this is a black spot on a beautifull island"

the 3 ds
"Damp Dated and Dirty, They had just had 2/3days of bad weather but paddling through 5cm of rain water to access front door was not good. Next day sun was out and you could see mold growing on doors and furniture. We spent hours cleaning to bring up to standard. Never again, avoid bungalow number 5."
