"This was the second time I had stayed at the Elba Sara. The first time had been so amazing I wanted to go back! The entertainment staff had been brilliant especially Kristian, the restaurant staff had been fantastic especially Judith and it had been amazing. I had really enjoyed my stay. I didn't think it could of been any better but the second time I visited was even better! The staff all remembered me, I met new staff who were great especially Gaelle. The activities in the day are fantastic, there's various activities. They seemed to have a different theme for the food every night. The entertainment was good, the best being Sunday night! I holiday on my own but I never feel alone there! I would highly recommend the Elba Sara. I feel all the staff there are great and they make each holiday maker feel so special! "

"Just back from a 7 day stay,Elba Sara is exceptional! A warm friendly welcome was given by Sarai. Rooms were spacious & clean. Nice sea view in room 618. The beach was only a 2minute walk away. The food was amazing, something for everyone & all tasted great. Recommend the freshly cooked omelets & fish. Be prepared to put on a few pounds! Which leads me to the fantastic entertainment staff,Frankie,Carmella & rest of the team. What a wonderful bunch of charismatic people. Sun loungers are plentiful so no problem getting one. Pools are fab, small one for little ones, warm pool with sunken jacuzzi sun loungers (recommend) & a pool for swimming & jacuzzi. I highly recommend Elba Sara, staff are so helpful & friendly, food is lovely, it's clean, I could not fault it. I can't wait to I back. Thank you all "

"4 out of 6 of us had food posioning so the last 3 days we ate outside the complex The food was poor quality, under cooked and covered in flies. The alcohol was so bad I drank less that I do at home! I even tried adding lemoade to the wine but still couldn't drink it! We paid for a junior suite and it was filthy the tiles were the same on the walls as on the floor, but the walls has white flex but the floor had brown! The entertainment was an excuse to get you to spend money - most of the acts ended up bringing out live birds of prey, snakes or lizards out so that the kids would want their photo taken at 10 euros a go!"

Great Family Hotel
"We have stayed all inclusive in Fuerteventura several times and we cannot fault our stay at the Elba Sara. The food was fresh, plentiful and varied. The staff helpful and friendly and the facilities were excellent. Our room had an amazing seaview - the pool was fantastic. There is a separate toddler pool with shade and a jacuzzi. Our children loved the mini-disco and we loved the all inclusive bar. Venture out to the nearby beach and take some bread, the fish will feed from your hand. All in all a great holiday and very good value."

A fabulous week away !
"We stayed at the Elba Sara Hotel for a week just before Christmas and had a fantastic holiday. This hotel is fantastic and is easily the best hotel we have stayed in, we will definately be returning. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are a great size and all have a sea-view and overlook the well maintained swimming pools and gardens. We stayed on a half-board basis and found the variety and quality of the food to be very good indeed, always a good selection of main courses and all freshly cooked. Breakfasts were also good with a good selection on offer. The staff in the restaurant were always happy and friendly and it was a pleasure to dine there each evening. . In fact every member of the staff always had a smile and a 'hello' for us - such a welcome change from some hotels we have stayed in, a particular mention for David in the Restaurant and to Sandra on reception who made the checking in and out process as quick as possible. The hotel is situated quite close to the airport, about 10 mins away, so there is some aircraft noise (daytime only), but this did not affect our enjoyment of our stay, in some ways it was a bit of interest while sunbathing trying to spot the airline!! There is a really nice shopping centre next to the hotel and a short walk away is the centre of Caleta with more shops, bars and restaurants. We cannot fault this hotel and look forward to our next visit. Thank you to all the staff at the Elba Sara for a brilliant week. Room Tip: All rooms have a sea-view but would suggest asking for a higher floor - purely to get a better view! "

GREAT HOTEL & STAFF
"This hotel has to be the best hotel, my family & I have ever stayed in. The receptionists, waiters & waitresses, bar staff, chefs, cleaners even the pool lifeguard, had time for you, say hello & would greet you with a smile. From the moment we arrived, on the 19th November until we left on the 26th November, we were treated like old friends, by all the staff. The hotel, is situated at the far end of the resort of Costa Caleta. There is a small beach about 50yds away, along a promenade type path, that leads into the resort. The Hotels reception area is large & open & is on the second floor along with two shops an hairdressers & a bar, were entertainment is staged on some evenings. The first floor, has a wonderful waterfall & a small garden & is were you will find the dining room & the broadway bar, this bar, is much bigger than the bar on the second floor, & also has entertainment & a kids mini disco in there. Dining, is a buffet service & you will have a large choice of some very enjoyable food. I would recommend, potatoes with some Canarian Mojo sauce. Every evening, you will be greeted, into the dining room by David. On one night, he gave flowers to all the ladies in the dining room, which I thought was nice. Some of the food, although wasn't piping hot certainly wasn't cold. A different selection of meat & fish was served each night & was cooked for you while you waited by the hard working chefs, the deserts were excellent & you could eat as much as you like. Breakfast is also a buffet service, & again there is plenty to choose from. The rooms, are very spacious & have two large single bed pushed together & a sofa , that can be pulled out to make a third bed. There is a TV & a fridge. The views from all the rooms, have sea views & look over the pool & the gardens of the hotel. Some of the reviews I read, put down this hotel, 'OK' some parts of the hotel were looking a little tired, but after a long busy season, I would expect some places needed to touched up, with a little paint & chairs needed a better cleaning, but the staff work really hard & try to look after all of their guests, so I can excuse them, of a couple of miner faults. Overall, Elba Sara is a beautiful hotel with wonderful, hard working staff. Who gave my fiancee, daughter, my mother & myself, a holiday to remember. "

not for young couples
"had a ten day break with my husband at the elba sara the hotel was lovely really clean. the food was very good had a couple of theme nights . a couple of things that were a pain was that there never was alot of bar staff on and you had to wait for your drinks and in the broadway bar you had to queue in a line to be served !(like you would at a check out for tescos!) most strange. lack of adult entertainment in the evenings so once the kids had there mini disco they put on something but it was so poor that people didnt stay long and was so boring. fair play they did try but it was like being at butlins !. also didnt like the fact all inclusive finished at 11pm so trying to get drinks in before it ended. all rooms have a security box but it was 4 euros a day to hire ! im not stingy but paying for a locked box everyday when you have paid for all inclusive you expect it to be part of the room. the staff were lovely very helpful and nice just could of done with a few more of them. the pool area was good all tho you did have to be up early to put your towels on your sunbed we learnt this after about two days ! you snooze you loose. really good for a family holiday with kids but dont think a young couple could hack the chillness of it even some of the older couples that we met struggled. all rooms had a sea view which was beautiful and waking up to the sound of the sea was lovely. Well done Elba Sara. Very nice Christmas break!
"Just got back from a week break at Elba Sara. Hotel was clean and rooms were very spacious. Very good atmosphere as the hotel wasn't full but not empty either. Fun entertainment during day and night. Activities such as archery, rifle shooting, table tennis, water polo, football, mini golf etc. Food was good, however, the menu was pretty much the same throughout the week (apart from New Years Eve when they had a fantastic menu)! On the other hand, there were so many dishes that you would usually eat something different every meal time anyway! Good selection of food for kids too. Right next to a small shopping mall and right behind the beach... Very conveniant! 20 min bus ride away from the bigger town centre. Reasonably priced photographer by the pool too, we asked her to take us for a photo shoot on the beach and she was extrememly patient (there were 3 young kids with us). Staff were very friendly and helpful apart from one. As there were 14 of us, one of the bar men got annoyed that we didn't all order our drinks at the same time. However, when there were so many of us all coming down at different times, we didn't think this could be helped! Every time we went over to the bar he would purposely ignore us and was really quite rude! We therefore stopped tipping him after a couple of days. This was only 1 man though, the other members of staff were great! They sent up a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake to my mum's room on her birthday. All in all a very fun and relaxing poolside holiday... Wouldn't mind going back next winter!"
