A real gem of a find
"We stayed in the BCNGotic apartments for 3 nights and were really impressed with the size, location and cleanliness. And the staff were really efficient and helpful. A real find right in the centre of the El Born district which we absolutely loved. Will be recommending these apartments to friends, and would not hesitate to stay there again when we next visit Barcelona."

Best location in Barcelona
"I stayed with my parents (in their seventies) and my sister for four days in March. We were all very happy with the cleanliness and facilities of the apartment - it really was spotless, and had everything from a kettle down to shoe polish. Our apartment had four bedrooms (along with sizeable kitchen, living area, patio, and two bathrooms) but there are apartments of a smaller size. The location in Born can't be bettered, the street is pedestrianised - and the boutique shops and restaurants in the area are excellent. Lunch in Taller de Tapas across the road is worth doing. Definitely recommended for anything longer than a short weekend."

Treasure home in the city
"Just returned from a 5 night stay in BCNGotic. We selected the apartment based on the reviews at Tripadvisor. The location is perfect, in a lively street in a good neigbourhood. A bakery, supermarket and also some of the better Tapas bars are in the street. Many major attractions are within walking distance and for other you can take the metro (station at the beginning of the street). The windows in the appartment have double glass so the rumour of the street should not bother too much, however if you do wish silence then ask for an appartment with rooms facing the interior courtyard. The apartments are exactly as on the pictures on their website, new, very clean and cozy. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a short stay 'home' in the city."

BCN Gotic - great choice in Born
"This group of apartments is just as advertised on their website including the pictures. There is a a reliable elevator, good security, and folks are on hand to help. The apartments are cleaned and maintained better than many well regarded hotels. We have spent 5 weeks now in the top level terrace apartment and have been very happy. The view of the church Santa Maria del Mar out our window is stunning. Born is clearly the place to be to really get a feel for this wonderful city. We do many meals "at home" after visiting the Santa Catalina market and the amazing shop around the corner E&A Gispert for nuts, coffee, dried fruits, and chocolate. We have used the apartment as a base for trips to Girona, Cardona, and Valencia all easily reached by Renfee trains after a metro ride to the station. The Palau music hall is a 10 minute walk and we have attended 3 marvelous events. Enjoy your visit... harry and pat"

BCN Gotic apartment - great location, really pleasant accommodation in El Born
"These apartments have little exposure on Trip Advisor, so I wanted to let others know about them. They are located in the pleasant pedestrian street of Calle Argenteria in trendy El Born. It is about 12 minutes walk to the beach; 3 minutes (maximum) walk to Metro Jaume 1; 15 minutes walk (a very interesting stroll, through the Gotic area) to Placa de Catalunya; 2 minutes walk to the stunning Eglise St Maria del Mar. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Picasso Museum. There are many smart tapas bars and restaurants in the street and in front of the Church; and interesting, trendy shops. Lots of little mini-markets around, a patisserie across the road. A wonderful delicatessen around behind the church. The owners own the whole building, and have renovated the various apartments to a high standard. It is a real âfamily businessâ, not an agency. We have just stayed for a week in BCNGotic 50. This is a roof top apartment, with its own terrace with outdoor table and chairs. From the terrace, and the living room, there is a stunning view of the spires of St Maria del Mar, which are floodlit some nights. It is lovely to be able to sit outside. The apartment we had was very spacious, and even nicer than the photos on the website. It has a modern kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, full fridge, gas hotplates, and fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and wine glasses and so on). There is also a modern washing machine. The living room is spacious, with dining table, 4 chairs, sofa and chairs, TV. There is free internet access. The bedroom is (again) spacious, with a walk-in-robe, and the bathroom is well equipped. I understand the other apartments do not have access to the terrace. There is a lift, and security is very effective. The owners are on-site each morning (weekdays). We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and their representative met us. There was a problem with the hot water, and the owner actually drove in from his home that afternoon to rectify the matter. They were very pleasant and professional to deal with. The apartment was spotlessly clean. All-in-all, a really pleasant place to stay â so incredibly convenient, we found we could come and go throughout the day."
