"The apartments are quite basic but very clean. Described as 1 bedroom but the bedroom was behind a screen! Also the fridge did hum on and off through the night. The balcony overlooked the sea which was lovely and we always had a breeze coming in the room so no air conditioning was not a problem. These apartments were largely used by the spanish who all seem to go out for the day, but they were quite noisy when they came back at night! There were always sunbeds free around the pool which made a refreshing change! We did tend to go over the road to the Los Letiscos Pool as we had 2 children who made a lot of friends over there, and they had activities going on. We had a car for our stay, which meant that we could drive out to get cheap groceries, we found a LIDL not far away which was very cheap compared to the resort supermarkets. These apartments are well positioned for the shops, restauarants and childrens parks, which were about a 5-10 minute walk. There is loads to do in Cala N Forcat, would recoment L'Ancora restaurant by the blue arch, 3 course meal for 9 euros. Really need a car to get out to some fabulous beaches, although the small cove opposite was great for the kids to take their nets and try fishing."

"Positive: quiet location / nice views
- their web page announces services they do NOT provide (hair-dryer, iron, iron-board, coffee-maker). When claiming, they offer the possibility of renting the hair-drier, the iron and an air fan.
- reception desk is closed - you must walk 10 min to the next apartments' to check-in and out
- swimming pool is not guard-watched (some youngsters were screaming, spitting and smoking grass while bading, early in the afternoons)
- front area is used as a debris-deposit for the workers around
- front area plants are not taken care and are full of insects
- mosquitoes do not allow you to sleep
- tv is 1 Euro per hour, but it does not provide good connection / view
- maintenance workers use mechanic tools and loud voices early in the morning"

"We have just come back from a really disappointing one week stay in Menorca. We chose the Cabo de Banos, as it was advertised as being 50m from the beach, which is not a true description. There was a small sandy dirt track, which people used to walk their dogs and then a sheer drop at the end. The beach, which is a very small cove is about 300m away and quite a lot of steps down and no shelter from the sun.
We were told there was a hairdryer and iron, so I didn't take these items away with us. We then found we had to go to The Lenticos sister hotel and hire them for 3 euros a day. Although we arrived at Cabo de Banos, we found a note on the closed reception telling us to go to Lescos, where we were handed the keys. Lescos is also quite a bit further down the road than had been suggested as being next door.
The rooms smelled very musty and damp, our clothes smelt musty after being in the wardrobe.
There is one mirror in the bathroom, so anyone trying to do their hair and get ready has to wait for everyone else to have a bath.
I found the details of these apartments were very misleading and would not reccomend them.
On the plus side, we had fantastic views from our patio. "

"Just returned from a lovely holiday at Menorca for two weeks. The first weeks weather was pretty grim (raining and thunder showers) we were the only people on the local beach, the locals were laughing at us. The best beach nearest to us was at Son Bou or Cala En Bosch but beware you will have to share it with lots of jelly fish and warnings not to swim in the sea!! With two children we didn't want to risk it. On arrival you will find that the reception is all shut up!! You are then told to go to Los Lenticos for your keys - at 11pm at night and with two children this was not really what we expected. The apartments were nice but basic. As it was so quiet at the complex we had the pool to ourselves most of the time but the only downside being that there are no pools bars near the pool for food or drinks. The best place to go for drink and food (and the CHEAPEST is a bar) just up the road from the apartments just opposite Los Lenticos called 'VORAMAR APARTMENTS'. The guy who runs it is called HULIO and he is brilliant at looking after you and ensures you have a fab holiday (he loves treating the kids). There is also has a parrot called Pancho in the bar who likes you to feed him crips, chips and all other junk food (not fruit and veg)!!! The restaurants along the strip are a lot more expensive but another nice place to eat is Maxis Bar (brilliant food and excellent views of the sea and beyond). The only downside to the apartments was lack of cleaning of the apartment (they came with fresh towels that was it) no cleaning and no change of beds for two weeks. "

"These apartments were lovely we stayed there for a week in the middle of May. You use the facilities of Los Lentiscos next door, which was also very nice.
You could tell they were 3 and 4 star but the staff were friendly and it was a nice complex which is what counts really.
We had stunning views over the bay to Majorca and a jacuzzi in Cabo de Banos, but the TV was coin metered, but you could only get news channels anyway.
The resort is lively so if like us you go out for dinner every night you would likely not be back until late anyway.
Cala n Forcat is ideal for families, maybe a little to commercial for some though. Not recommended for teens, stags, elderly etc. Perfect for younger kids.
The island is only about an hour long so easy to travel around. Buses are regular air conditioned and English speaking.
We went as a surprise for my in laws (mum, dad, sister, brother, two kids) so we wanted that resort and found a deal for £530 for the week sc. We felt this was a good deal, as the other two families had paid £1400 for two weeks.
We would not have paid this amount, but felt our price was good value for money for what we got."
