"We stayed in a lovely apartment which was extremely clean and had a lovely balcony with views of the mountains. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The complex is tasteful and has two swimming pools-again very clean.Quiet at night and about ten minutes walk from the port and shops restaurants etc.Easy to get taxis to San Elm and Camp de Mar for gorgeous beaches. No cockroaches in sight at all-alive or dead!!!The only minus was that the food in the resort was not very good and very expensive and the food at the hotel was not much better.Suggest you get your own food or stick to burger and chips!A lovely place for a relaxing holiday."

"This was our first holiday booked entirely over the internet. La Pergola was a wonderful place to stay with children.
The staff were always on hand, very polite and made us feel very welcome and important. The food in the restaurant was brilliant and the overall accommodation was maintained to a very high standard. Most of the other guests were generally families who were year on year returners, who also made us welcome.
It is very quiet, and the restaurants in the port are amazing. Great for families. We are due to go back very soon."

"We have been to La Pergola several times a year for the past 6yrs. It's a perfect base for laxy relaxing holidays. We ended up for the past 3 years staying in the bungalows which have their own garden area and are two storey, a bit more on the bill but all prices are very reasonable anyway. Or opt for the top floor and take in the gorgeous view of the Port. There are several low rise blocks so the hotel doesn't feel as big as it probably sounds. The Mon Port opened a couple fo years back, situated behind La Pergola, it is owned by the same family and it is a very high class luxury hotel. Cleanliness is top, quality of the rooms and everything in them is top, the staff are just wonderful, over the years we have got to know them really well and we are always made extremely welcome. We like the self catering facility for lazy lunches but go over into the port for breakfast and dinner. La Pergola is not really a place to eat when the restaurants in the Port are so delightful. Porto D'Andratx is Mallorcas hidden gem, as far removed from the Concrete Jungle so many people think of when they think of mallorca. The restaurants, especially La Cafe, brilliant. Media Luna which is only 2 minutes from the hotel is outstanding and the views over to the other side of the port over the top of the boats, well, just try it! Cappucino and Bar Central are superb places to take in the view or people watch. Hire a car from the airport, the taxi ride costs about the same if your only there for a week and there are so many great places to explore. Alas, on our visit last year an apartment came up for sale so now although we go back to Andratx often, we wont be staying in our favorite hotel!"

"Booked through alpharooms and got fantastic deal on 2 bed apartment. Totally spotlessly clean and well equiped.
Pool area spotless.
We have booked direct for 2006.
Port D'andratx is lovely, not over developed. Good choice of eating places - some of the cheaper ones - the better ones.
Fantastic holiday if you don't want over developed resort full of brits"

Great family place!
"Stayed at La Pergola for 14 nights with wife and 2 kids. Had two appartments with conn. door. Great solution for a family!
Nice quiet location with only 7 minutes walking to the port. The port itself is very nice and you will find hundreds of nice restaurants.
Staff at hotel is extremely nice and helpful. Always doing their best to give us a nice stay. The breakfast is probably the best feast I've ever had in a hotel! You will find what ever you desire, and they even have a small buffet for the kids.
We will definately return!"
