"Book now! You'll love it and will have no regrets. We stayed for 10 nights from 13 August 2011 and could not fault the place. We even asked if we could stay longer but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. All the positive reviews I've read on this site are correct. The food was absolutely superb with so much to choose from, too much perhaps! The selection was different each day and the presentation and cleanliness was spot on. Every single member of staff I came into contact with was friendly and made you feel like they really wanted you to enjoy your holiday. One member of staff told me how the company really looks after its staff and I could actually sense that morale was high. We met some lovely people during our holiday with special mention to our friends Serena, Andrew, Dylan and Ellie, Louise, Sunny and Saul, Paul, Kerry, Joe and Lucy, Nathaniel, Matthew and Jack. Thank you for making our (Sonia, Mark, Joshua and William) holiday so special. The reviews that state that you don't get a pool or sea view if you book through Thomas Cook are correct. We were told at reception that Thomas Cook clients only get standard rooms. You can pay to upgrade when you arrive but it is quite expensive. As we tend to not spend too much time in the room we did not upgrade. Our room turned out to be just fine. It was clean and we could see the sea even though we were in an outside room. The maid was excellent. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily if you left them on the floor in the bathroom. Although we did take our own towels for the pool/beach we rented towels from reception. You pay 10 euros per towel and get the full amount back when you return them at the end of your holiday. You can change the towels every day bar one. How brilliant is that, you can even use them on the beach. I wish I hadn't bothered taking my own towels as I didn't need them. We even hired a parasol from reception for 10 euros that we used on the beach and got a full refund when we returned it at the end of the holiday. Air conditioning is included in the cost of your holiday. Another tip, don't buy inflatables etc. Inflatables were left on landings on a daily basis by those not wanting to take them home. My children got to play on lilos and other inflatables and to use buckets and spades with no financial outlay. It gave us great pleasure to pass them onto other people when we were leaving. We bought water guns from the supermarket located at the side of the hotel. These were great value at 3 euros each, the kids had hours of fun in the pool. I could go on for hours praising this complex but having returned home today I'm ready for my sleep. It must be good here because I've never written a review about any place I've stayed before. One last thing; we took a walk along the beach and I couldn't help but compare the other hotels on route in relation to the beach view restaurant area, the short distance to the sea and the cleanliness of the sand directly in front of the hotel. We normally don't stay at the same place twice but we will definitely be returning to this hotel. "

"The hotel is good and the staff are excellent, entertainment is also good with lots of games to get involved in during the day.Adam and Pedro are first class and take most of the games. There are lots of sun beds around the pool but are charged on the beach. The hotel is spotless, but our room was very dissapointing with no drawers,no shelves,no cupboards and a very small wardrobe with six coathangers,so we had two suitcases and nowhere to put our clothes except on the floor. we went to reception the person who was otherwise very nice told us that we should'nt bring so many clothes, and to change rooms with shelves and a wardrobe but still no drawers we would have to pay 252EURS which we paid we felt that we did'nt have any other choice as we did'nt fancy spreading our clothes all over the floor. My wife and I felt that we were the only couple without a baby because nearly everybody had babies and under fives who screamed and cried all over the dining room ,we called it the indigestion period, but the staff there also were brilliant, maybe they had earplugs and wished we had them too.But as for the Hotel spotlessly clean"

"Just returned from a one week all inclusive holiday at the Iberostar Alcudia Park Hotel which is one of the best all-inclusive hotel's we've stopped at - second only to a 5* hotel we stopped in at Cancun, Mexico a few years ago! Our party of eight consisted of two young children, 6 & 18 mths old right up to the oldest at 69! Upon arrival, we were met by the friendly helpful check in staff who informed us that only two of the three rooms were ready, but that they were upgrading all the rooms to sea view one bedroom apartments for free! After lunch, the third room was ready. Our accomodation consisted of open plan kitchen (with hob & fridge) and living area, en-suite (with shower over bath, toilet and basin), pool and sea view balcony and bedroom with two single beds and a wardrobe with a safety deposit box (which can be rented for 14 euros a wk, plus 6 euro refundable key deposit). The cleaners cleaned our room every day & provided fresh towels whenever we wanted them! During our week the Hotel, was getting ready to open for the full season and was relatively quiet, but in full swing can cater for 1200 people! There is a beach/pool bar with outside entertainment area where all of the evening acts perform, an inside entertainment area, bar and seating outside to the front of the hotel. There is two large outside swimming pools (which are quite windy as this hotel is located right on the beach), an inside swimming pool & sauna. There is a children's club with playpark and adult daytime activities such as rifle/pistol target shooting, volley ball, french bowls, archery, cards etc. The main buffet restaurant has an excellent choice of wide variet of well prepared and tasty food for breakfast, lunch and tea. The beach/pool bar provides barbeque style food for lunch. We all loved the food and if they can maintain the choice and quality, no one should be able to complain! The hotel is located about an 1 1/2 hour walk from Alcudia, but is right on a clean beach with beautiful views. We were able to take the hotel's sunbeds down onto the beach for the first few days. After that the Port authority put there own sunbeds on the beach, stopped the hotel putting their sunbeds on the beach and began charging 5 euro's a day for the Port Authority's sunbeds! All in all, a suberb holiday and hotel. The hotel is immaculately kept and very clean, has beautiful gardens and sea views with fansastic, friendly and helpful staff. I would definately recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday and would love to go again! "

"the hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly and polite but they tended to be more polite to non british people, but there wasn`t many british people at the hotel. the people that were there were arrogant, pushy and ignorant towards myself, my husband and most important towards my two children aged 14 and 12. We couldn`t get in the restraunt until late evening as everyone was queing up as soon as it opened when we did get in there was a lot to choose from but it was poor quality {frozen foods and left overs from the evening before} my children lived on chips and beans on toast until the beans ran out then when we asked if more beans were available we were told no! none left. the entertainment was well, there wasn`t any only if you are 4 or 5 or if you were brain dead then you might raise a smile we are not brain dead and we sure aint going back to alcudia park hotel! Other than that our holiday was great the beach was superb the weather couln`t get any better and it was nice to come home to plan our next holiday this time i will do more research and find something worth the £2500 for the week we go"

"My Husband,Son Brother in law and I have stayed at the Alcudia Park for the last four years, the first year was 2 weeks in August, But we have been the first 2 Wks in July after that, We have always stayed on self catering board basis, our rooms have always been the same, and upto the same excellent standard, as are the staff of all levels, who put us to shame as they all seem able to identify your nationality and try to speak to you in your native language. We have found that yes there are Germans staying at this hotel, but you can easily mistake the Sweedish who speak german and are a completely diffrent kind of people, although we have never had any problems with anyone of any nationality, french, german, sweedish, english, irish or scots, and not forgetting the americans we have met while stying there, it just amazes me how the reception staff are all so fluent in any language they come across. Yes the rooms are all cleaned everyday with fresh towels everyday if you put your others in the bath the maids know you wish them changed. I have on several occasions come back to our room to find the maid has left flowers in intricatley designed towel arrangements, and they have even washed breakfast crockery, not in their job to do so. Also if we have wanted a lay in bed they have come back to do our room later in the day when we wernt in. This will be our 5th year there this coming July they are not doing self catering this year so rather than go somewhere else we are going all inclusive, we can not imagine going anywhere else because we know 100% that everything is going to be the best we could wish for and as for emptying the bins at night why dont they do that in england ive spent many a time stuck behind a dustwagon in a traffic jam. I can honestly say if anyone finds a single fault with this hotel they have gone with that in mind. there are no problems at all.and the kids club amazes me how the children follow and love the entertainers like the pied piper I have only ever seen children crying when its the end of their show, and they have to back to parents. "My Husband, My 3 year old daughter & I spent 1 week at the hotel at the end of September. We went All Inclusive. When we booked the hotel it was a bit more expensive than some other all inclusive hotels but as it was 4 star and the hotel was right on the beach we thought we would give it a try & hope it was worth it. We were not disapointed. The hotel is excellent! First of all, it is very clean. The rooms were cleaned every day & we were given clean towels daily. The maid even folded our PJs and put sweets on the pillow which our little girl liked. The rooms are good as you get a fridge and small cooking area which is great for keeping drinks in if you get thirsty during the night. The hotel give bottles of drinking water too & the maid quite often left us a new bottle if we were running low. I have been to quite a few 3 star all inclusive hotels in different areas in spain and always thought the food was pretty crap, but it was worth it for the drink. The food in this hotel is better than any other AI I have stayed in. There was always something I could eat & I am pretty fussy. The only thing that I could think of that might be a problem is the breakfast is more catered towards a German taste, like a continental breakfsat rather than an English breakfast. They had bacon but it was not to my taste. However there was always toast & beans, eggs, lots of lovely crusty fresh breads & cold meats that we enjoyed. The lunches are good & the dinners are excellent. To give you an idea of the dinners. They have the usual meat & fish stews you normally get but every night they had big dishes of different paellas, they had a chef who made fresh meat like chicken breast , steak, etc. They had pastas. They often had a big roast that they would carve for you like turkey or pork. One night we went & it was seafood with lobsters, crabs, prawns etc. My husband must have ate half the contents of the ocean that night!! He loved it. Not my cup of tea but there was plenty other nice things to eat. You can get snacks at the beach bar during the day. They have pasta, burgers, chips, pizza, fresh fruit & a lovely big fresh salad bar. There are ice lollies for the kids to help them selves too also. The pool is lovely but it was a bit chilly to get the shoulders under when we were there but there is also an indoor pool that my little girl was in all the time. The hotel is right on the beach which is beautiful & clean & the water is very calm & shallow. Great for kids. We had no problem getting sunbeds at any time but not sure if this would be the same in the middle of summer. The hotel is really good for familes. They have entertainment every night that the kids love. Not the sort of thing I would watch if I didnt have kids but if she is happy we are happy. It meant we could sit and enjoy a few drinks & the wee one was entertained. The location is quite good. Not right in the centre of Alcudia but there are a few shops, bars & restaraunts around. We went to a Tex Mex one night that is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Walk out the front door and go to your left. It is on the other side of the road. Its called "Dakota". If you like that sort of food you will enjoy it. Good to take kids too as they have a big bouncy castle & some of the little rides you put a euro in to keep them happy. Some of the English reviews I read mentioned there was a lot of Germans at the hotel. This is true but I though this was a good thing as there was a nice atmosphere & none of the lager louts & wild children you get at some hotels that are full of English & Scottish people. I really loved this hotel & will be going back again. Hopefully soon!!"

"I would definitely recommend this hotel and resort. The hotel is family orientated, very clean and friendly. The only down side was the view from our room (a flat roof and brick wall). Its a great location with direct access to the beach and the hotel has an indoor pool which was a god send as the weather was 50 50 on our stay. The resort has loads of good quality restaurants and bars offering great quality food. I would recommend Smiths bar for good value. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday then this is the place. PS. The hotel guests were predominately German. "

The hotel is rigt on the beach and there isnt even a path to the beach, it is hotel then beach. Its amazing. The children loved the kids club and loved the mini disco they put on every night. Watch out for Smily the Dog, all the kids love him better than Thomas the Tank engine. The place is spotless they are always cleaning through the day to ensure the place is spotless. If you go say hello to Windsor, does speak to good english but is very helpful and likes his football. You have to go if you are going for a family holiday. It is an international hotel not an english hotel so you do get all sorts of nationalities. Enjoy i am sure you will"

"First impressions...............a nice hotel. Dig a bit deeper and you may not be overly impressed. We paid near on £1700 for 2 weeks self catering (what were we thinking). We thought that if we paid that bit extra we could avoid sharing a hotel with the chavs. Well there wasn't any chavs, in fact there wasn't many English at all. The maids kept leaving our door unlocked after they had been in to clean the room. The hotel courtyard & pool is surrounded by gardens that you aren't allowed to walk in. This decreases the overall area of the courtyard considerably which affects the space available for sunbeds. There aren't that many sunbeds either and the ones that are available are crammed together so much so that you have difficulty navigating through the maze of sunbeds. Not recommended for the less mobile. You have to get up early too to get a sunbed or pay 6 euros for a sunbed on the beach. Our room was ok, but the cooker was so slow. It took about 20 mins to boil a pan of water. No toaster either. You had to hire these for about 30 euros. After 10 days we got so fed up with the hotel we complained directly to the hotel manager. Here's a tip for all of you.........if you are not satisfied with the the service ask for the LIBRO DE RECLAMACIONES. Under Spanish Law every trader, hotel or whoever has to have one. Its their equivalent of the "complaints book". Thing is, all complaints are sent to the Ministry of Tourism who take them very seriously, so much so that hotels can be punished or even shut down. The manager did not want us to complete the complaint forms and offered us all inclusive for the rest of our stay if we refrained from making a complaint. Not a bad result. Overall not a hotel recommended for families with young children. Theres nothing for them to do. There is entertainment now and again but its generally aimed at Germans and other nationalities."

"I have never stayed at an Iberostar before, but would certainly stay again. We got upgraded to an appartment on arrival for some reason, which was a great surprise, but apart from that, the first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. This is something I find very important! The bathroom was spotless, I breathed a sigh of relief! There was no kettle or toaster etc, but a fridge. The hotel is in a great location, with shops, restaurants etc along the (very busy!) road outside, and a burgerking. There are lots of fake designer bags etc to be bought..I found they were cheaper in the shop right opposite than at the market in Alcudia (on a Tuesday & Sunday I think). The beach is right there on your doorstep at Alcudia Park, and what a lovely beach, excellent for children..you can walk out for ages and it is shallow! We went on the beach everyday, but if you wanted to sit around the pool I would say you would have to reserve your chair early, as it was very crowded there. There was entertainment every night, and the food (buffet style) was amazing. Nearly everyone was all inclusive, and there was wine, pina colada, soft drinks tea & coffee etc on tap. You could also help yourself to ice creams. There aren't many down points, but the ones worth mentioning..this hotel is wonderful for families, but if you are a young couple, there isn't much in the way of lively bars. You would have to get a cab into Alcudia, and even then there isn't much. There was an awful smell in the corridor outside our room! Not sure what it was, but I could smell it in the mornings and it made me gag. We were in a room near the road, and every night a small cabaret act sang songs until quite late..VERY loud!! Booming in fact. So if you wanted an early night or have children etc, take earplugs. I was surprised at most of the staff not speaking any English. I was trying to ask for a snack at the beach bars, and they had no idea what I was talking about. It's easier if you take a spanish dictionary and try and say things in Spanish. If you need to use the internet for work etc, I would advise taking a laptop. There was only one (quite slow) computer, and always a queue of people waiting. Or, if you go to the english pub 'The Swan' up the road, you can use it there cheaper, and they have several computers. Apart from that, I would recommend this hotel. The staff were all VERY friendly, (even the ones who didn't speak English!), and the grounds, pool and beach were tidy and pleasant. Overall I would recommend this hotel for families who want a quiet and relaxed beach holiday."
