4 Traveller reviews from Holiday Watchdog
Not as described....
"We were so excited, it was our first holiday abroad for quite a few years due to family commitments....so were so disappointed to arrive and find Jet2 had booked the wrong room, we were compensated in resort (but won't use them again in a hurry...).
We were give a 'mountain' view room, this turned out to be a room that had a small view of a mountain, but also a huge 12 storey block of flats, the Spanish gather and eat quite late into the night..also the road at the front of the hotel was where all deliveries were made, so a constant barrage of noise from lorries, coaches, taxis, dustcarts. Holidaymakers in the annex would let the large metal gates clang shut most times. From our balcony we did see what appeared to be a prostitute being picked up and dropped off, fruit and veg deliveries spilt on the road, then picked up and taken inside to the kitchens.
The rooms were clean but the open style wardrobe was inside the WC/Shower cubicle, I don't hang my clothes in the loo at home and don't want to do it on holiday even if it is only for a week...yuk..maids were fab, honest and efficient.
The food was fine, the breakfast was superb, couldn't fault it, even when my hubby chose what he thought was sausages that were next to the baked beans only to find it was fried banana...labelling could have been a little better. Restaurant Manager and team were so kind, they worked tirelessly, impressed.
The Sky lounge was a real bonus...but even that had problems, the pool was only cleaned when another client went and moaned about the scum/grease mark around the pool. Concerned at lack of safety checks on umbrellas, one nearly flew over the glass and would have landed on bathers below had it not been for a guests quick response. The screws that hold the pole onto the base really need to be checked daily by staff members.
The resort is so close to Magaluf that you can hear the Oggy Oggy chants at night. No old town to explore, just a long road of cheap Chinese 'tat' shops and restaurants that would be at home in Benidorm. The resort is clean. The beach never looked packed, and it was lovely to see the locals Spanish cluster together at the weekends and make full use of it...
Evening entertainment was passable...literally...just pass on by!!...
The hotel felt souless and didn't have a vibe, which is such a shame as the roof top bar at night could have so easily been a fab chill out space, an ibiza chilled vibe would have been so easy to do and would have been very profitable. I feel to many opportunities are missed by management and this does affect the clients experience.
Sadly all staff members need to be shown how to make a decent Sangria, had to go out of hotel to get it!!...its Spain, Com' on!!!...
Haven't investigated who owns this hotel, but you really need to change your management...your photographs show a classy chilled hotel, you most certainly don't get that!!!!!..."

"After negative reviews on the site we were hopeful that when we arrived all would be okay. It was, absolutely great stay - the hotel is opposite the beach accessed through a security gate, in a peaceful position but right on the doorstep for the nightlife of both Palma Nova & Magaluf. The rooms are clean and spacious, as is all the hotel. The food is fantastic, plentiful, hot, varied - the plates are cleared away quickly. We went all-inclusive and the drinks were on tap in the dining room & behind the bar with tea, coffee & soft drinks always available. The staff that were described as rude and moody I think didnt speak much English but on the whole the staff couldnt do enough for you. The entertainment was very low key & there could have done with more sunbeds/parasols round the pool, but pointed this out to management & hopefully there will be more next year. Most of the guests are German/Dutch/Polish/French but that posed us with no problems whatsoever.
All in all - a wonderful place to stay and we will be back next year."

"I would not have booked this hotel if had I known it was a German run Hotel, all Entertainment was in German so was no use to us at all.The waiting staff in restuarnt were very rude and the staff at Reception Desk were not helpful at all.
Would not recomend this Hotel and will not be going back ,as for the same money there is much nicer Hotels to be found out there.

The only reason this hotel is a 9 and no...
"The only reason this hotel is a 9 and not a 10 is because the pool was cold, but it was April!!
This lovely Italian hotel in a brilliant position. Rite opposite a lovely long beach that stretches all the way to Magaluf, where there is brilliant night life, only a 10 min walk along the beach front to all the liveliness if that is what your going for. or pay a few euros for a taxi which pick you up rite outside the hotel, there is also a bus stop.
There are a few quite bars n pubs around the hotel but you donât hear any noise.
There is a parade of shops and a McD's near by, very cheap supermarket more or less next door and a cafe for lunch.
Very friendly and helpful staff, but the hotel was full of Italians so all the entertainment was in Italian, plus all the guests.
Hotel was beautiful, very clean and big. Great indoor pool and small gym, lots of places to sit and play cards or relax outside your room, pool table near downstairs bar.
The food was lovely, a great selection, catered for most, buffet, very clean. Eat early if you want a seat though, its big but there always seemed to be lots of people in there.
I would recommend going in the summer as we had storms but there was still lots 2do and a sun bed place down the road!
Didnât c much of the rep (only out clubbing) but we missed the welcome meeting.
A great place to stay for somewhere quite in the day, out of the way of hustle n bustle at night. A good position from Magaluf but stick to the walk along the beach as we got lost going the back way!!
If your going, Iâm jealous.
