Hotel Agua Beach

"We booked last September 2015 to stay at the Agua Beach June 2016 to be advised 18 hours prior to departure they had double booked.
Various tour operators had the same issue which clearly shows it is the hotel that is either incompetent or greedy as the value of the rooms have rocketed in the last few months.
We ended up in a hotel that is still in the process of being built.
Have stayed at the Agua Beach last year but will definitely not be booking there again.

Poor hotel, very dirty. Wouldnt stay there again
"On arrival 1st impressions were good, staff helpful. Then all went downhill, we were sent to out room and immediately had to go and complain about the state of it. Bed covered in long dark hair, hair also all over floor and in bath. The room looked like it had never been cleaned. They sent a cleaner in and all they done was changed the sheets, the top cover was still covered in hair as was the floor and we rinsed the bath ourselves. Ants were crawling through holes in the tiled floor we had to pack the holes with paper to stop them crawling through.
Breakfast was edible, choice of Full English or continental, dining room staff were lovely ladies.
Entertainment was fine if you are in your 70's.
Pool(which is situated behind Chinese restaurant) was far too small for the size of hotel, loungers were shabby and very few of them. Other guests were laying out towels the night before in order to guarantee one of the 20ish loungers.
All in all, hotel wasn't for us. Found it dirty and dated
Should be rated as a 2*"

this was the second time we stayed in the aqua beach hotel
" we booked a studio but we were placed across in the apartments. we were hoping for a sea view but as i forgot to pack the chainsaw our view was obliterated by a big tree the apartment had no t v.towels were changed and bathroom cleaned . but the rest of the apartment cleaning was very poor in and out in 3 minutes and as i was on the balcony most mornings i never seen the room being swept. resteraunt food was very good bar service good entertainment good and location excellent but as i expect to get what i paid for a studio , i wont be going back again i even had this booked months before hand. apartment too far away from main hotel and you had to go along the side of the pool to get to it and the lifts way across the yard . too dangerous after a few drinks"

Don't believe the bad reviews!!!!
"Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Aqua Beach for a week in Aug 2012 and we had a brilliant time! Our room was cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels. The food was fine and all the staff were polite and helpful. The down side to this hotel is that the pool is tiny but on the plus side the beach is a stone throw away! The location is perfect for partying or just chilling. This was the best AI drnks hotel ive stayed at as the bar staff were always making different cocktails for the guests to try. I wouldnt stay here if i had young children as the pool gets busy and the entertainment in the evening is aimed for adults. The Crazy Golf next door to the hotel is brilliant and the water sports were awesome and very well priced. Overall we had a brilliant time and made some brilliant memories!!"

Best week of my young life!
"As a group of nine 18-year-olds, initially reading the reviews of this hotel straight after booking it, we were very anxious. Some of them were so bad that we tried to cancel our holiday!! However, I am soooo glad that we never did because it turned out to be one of the best weeks of our lives! We were looking for a fun, young holiday, so the reviews that claimed it was a hotel for older people/couples definitely worried us. Despite this, we ended up going and loved it!
We were greeted in a friendly manner by the hotel staff, although admittedly we had a mix up with the rooms as we had requested a room of 2, a room of 3 and a room of 4 and this had not been arranged. This was quickly resolved as we're easily pleased and just pushed a few beds together! My room had an amazing view of the beach and had a nice balcony to sit out at night.
We were half board and food-wise we had no complaints at all. There was always a wide variety of food and as a vegetarian myself, I always found that there were alternative meal choices.
We began our holiday with a drunken night out on the Magaluf strip, one word...amazing! So many bars/free drink offers we couldn't believe it. Our favourite bars were probably Office, Cayote Ugly and Boomerang. On arrival back to the hotel at about 5am we jumped into the swimming pool (possibly not the best idea) and were a bit scared when we thought the man at reception had come out to tell us off, but instead he offered us towels to dry off and kindly sent us up to our rooms haha :)
The swimming pool is a bit shady throughout the day and you sort of have to follow the sun around a bit, but to be fair there is a beach literally across the road from the hotel so can't really complain about that.
Apart from other guests at the hotel occasionally getting a bit annoyed with us/our noise (probably more our fault than theirs, sorry!) I seriously have nothing bad to say about Aqua Beach and would more than happily stay there again!!"

Friendly Hotel and relaxing atmosphere
"Thank you Hotel Agua Beach for your friendly and helpful staff and ensuring our holiday was so relaxing and enjoyable. We first came in 2009 and enjoyed it so much we came back again this Aug/Sept 2010. The location to the beach and all local facilities are excellent. Wonderful holiday!"

worst holiday ever
"I dont want to emphasise to much on this hotel as its the worst hotel we have stayed at, the rooms are filthy
the food is terrible and the entertainment is poor, i have seen better singers in the local pub on karaoke than these so called professional singers and as for the one billed as mallorcas no 1 comedy vocalist this guy was awful along with the billy fury guy if this is the best mallorca can offer then we will not be returning the only good thig about this hotel is that its across from the beach"

Lovely hotel, but felt too young
"Just come back from a week in the hotel, after reading reviews I was happy to go. It was a lovely hotel as has been said, the staff were very kind, helpful and welcoming. Food was lovely, buffet for breakfast and dinner.
Entertainment wasn't brilliant, they did have shows on every night that I may have enjoyed if I was older and knew the songs which the singers sung.
My fiance and I (who are 20) felt EXTREMELY out of place as all the other travellers were over their 60s, at least.
We had the room on the top floor of the hotel, so we had a gorgeous sea view, but there were marks on our ceiling, and their was a panel on our ceiling, and through it we heard there were pigeons inside.
The hotel pool was FREEZING. But the sea is just across the road, along with all restaurants. So ideal location!"
